When I lived in ATL, the Cook's Warehouse was the place to go for kitchenware and cookware. Having come back here after so many years, I can see that it still is the place to go for cookware and kitchen supplies. They also hold cooking classes here and do cooking demonstrations on special occasions which are incredible and worth the price you are paying. Everything is top notch quality at The Cook's Warehouse, and the knives section is very impressive. If you are a true chef and looking for high quality knives, the Cook's Warehouse is where you need to go. They have expert staff who can help you pick out the particular knives you need for your kitchen and professional use. The name brand cookware and kitchen supplies are worth coming to this store. The Cook's Warehouse is not a cheap place to shop for cookware and kitchen supplies, so if you are looking for something inexpensive, this is not the place for you. However, the experience and expertise of the staff to help you find what you are looking for in your kitchen is worth coming to this store to shop. You will definitely receive excellent customer service and a great product when you come to the Cook's Warehouse. Come on by and shop here for kitchenware or cookware. It is worth every penny!!

Disclaimer: This review is for the cooking class only! Update July 2019 After my previous review....I was reached out to by the team and given 2 free vouchers to try another cooking class. I am SO glad I took them up on their offer!! Signed up for the French macaron making class and this experience was as different as night & day. Smaller groups, each of us got to practice all aspects of macaron making. The lead chef Lizzy was patient and explained every step in great detail. The staff was still stellar. Overall: I enjoyed this class so much more! After that experience will definitely try some of their other classes.

Update: After my previous experience/review someone from customer service reached out and offered a complimentary do-over. Kudos for the prompt response. This update is delayed since I just signed up for a class (French Macarons 101) and had a blast. The class was on a Sunday afternoon and there were a lot less people. The staff and Chef Lizzie seemed well prepared as we were able to divide ourselves into groups and work efficiently together. I think it all comes down to the number of people registered for the class and if there are any large groups. I learnt a lot about making French Macarons - since it was hands on, we made the shells, the filling and even got to sample all the flavors. A take home pouch with a sample set was a good treat.. I will definitely be back for another class. I highly recommend the French Macaron class to beginners or experienced cooks who haven't had success making them Macarons. ------------------------------------------------ Meh experience. My first cooking class so I was excited to do this for Valentine's Day! The cooking experience is inside The Cook's Warehouse - which is a retail shop with all that you need in the kitchen (and more). Got there about 30 mins before start and got our seats.. the tables were tightly packed (3 tables) but were nicely set up. There were volunteers/staff who were doing the prep work in the kitchen so we just waited/took pictures/walked around the store. At about 6:45pm (15 minutes after official start time) did someone actually say something. Till then it just felt like everyone was scrambling. We were given water and the staff and chef were introduced. The chef walked us through the recipes - printout was on each seat and gave us some direction on how to proceed. Somehow the water they served us was a little muddy (pipe burst), so the staff quickly got us bottled water and gave us wine to compensate for the inconvenience (they actually refilled the wine a couple of times - more than average). When we got into the kitchen, everyone seemed to have forgotten their instructions. We had a "group of 6" who kind of were all over the place. Groups were assigned dishes to prepare and switch through stations, but due to the "group of 6," we were stuck with cake duty and mediocre prep by the "group of 6." All through the experience, people were trying to get more direction, the recipe instructions were good but still required some more direction. The staff was confused and kept running to the chef for everything. 2 hours in, all the food ready. There were a few people cooking steak (kind of disorganized again), but I was "whatever" at that point. The staff served us the food, and refilled our wine again. I have to say the food looked great but my bacon (bacon covered steak) was undercooked. Overall, I had high expectations but I was underwhelmed. I wouldn't do it again. Hopefully in the other classes they provide better direction and navigate groups effectively. The chef was great, and staff super helpful. The recipes were fantastic but the foexperience suffered. BTW our menu was: raw oysters, bacon covered steak with bernaise sauce, asparagus, pimento potatoes and decadent chocolate cake.

It is not fancy; nothing like your local Williams-Sonoma, Sur la Table, or Crate & Barrel. But you may find things that you can't at those places. I think my first time coming here was 4-5 years ago. I am an amateur home baker and cook and after reading through blogs and scouring different websites dedicated to food, I get ideas to make new dishes. Some of these require certain receptacles or tools that I don't readily have in my kitchen cabinets (which are brimming with stuff, because I have insufficient storage due to apartment living... wah, wah, wah). Restaurant Equipment Market (REM) has saved the day for me, especially on occasions when I could not stand to wait two days for Amazon Prime to deliver reasonably-priced kitchen goodies to my home. I have gotten cake pans, a meat tenderizer mallet, candy thermometer, an awesomely wide stainless prep bowl, and sweet bread knife from this place. Today I spotted pots and pans and cutting boards that will most likely end up in my kitchen at some point. Some of the things here are not very attractive, so if your aim is to buy kitchenware that combines form and function and you have the budget for it, by all means, go to the fancy places and acquire all that you need. This girl who is always looking for holes-in-the-wall will not shy away from getting more things to help me further my kitchen sorcery.

THEY WERE ALL OVER THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY BABY!…read more I must have wandered into the store while they were conducting customer service drills because they were all "at attention". I wanted to say "As you were" but decided to just let it be. Who complains about great customer service? No one! Several employees offered assistance and one gentleman was nice enough to get a basket to hold my wares. Love it!! So when I entered, I was hoping that they had the World Market selection, (like Perimeter) because I needed a snack. Unfortunately, they did not. They are a smaller store but probably have everything you need to make your bedroom and bathroom comfortable and cozy. Also they have great accessories and gadgets for the kitchen and other areas of the home as well. I loved the bedding that they had displayed because it was cotton and it felt really nice. I believe in 100% cotton bedding because I find it to be very durable and very cozy. When it comes to their bedding, you really have to watch for queen sizing because it is really not true queen size, it is designated as full/queen which means it falls short. This is something that I noticed a couple of years ago when I was looking for bedding but it may no longer be an issue. Just make sure that you check carefully. If you need to get organized, BBB can help you out. They have great drawer inserts to help separate your smaller items. I purchased a great boot rack which holds six pairs of boots in perfect position so that they hold their form and there is no drooping. As you get closer to Christmas, they have a great selection of "white elephant" gifts and small items that are perfect for stuffing stockings. I have been looking to update my bathroom curtains for a while and just had a difficult time nailing the color and length. Imagine my surprise when I actually saw the perfect color, on CLEARANCE and in the size that I needed. I kept twisting my head to see if I was reading the price incorrectly because the regular price was $37.99 while the current price was listed as $4.99. Yes, I took a photo. So I purchased $76 worth of curtains for $10. SCORE!!! Today was a good day! *** This is an update regarding the curtains I recently purchased for my bathroom. I love them! The color is spot on and they are a very heavy "drapery like" weight so they hand well. They also do a great job of blocking light. This is the second time that I have purchased curtains here and I have been pleased each time because they are of a very nice quality. I once purchased my drapes/window treatments at JC Penney but they have changed their signature collection so I needed to find another option. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I loved the shape and size of the bowl, from what I could gather from looking at just the photo. I decided to further investigate East Fork and when I discovered that it was an Asheville enterprise that had its manufacturing facilities nearby, I immediately started looking at lodging options in Asheville on the pretence of the mountainous city being an easy getaway, which it truly is anyway. Well, after more browsing of the website, I found that there was an Atlanta store. I nearly passed out from exhilaration. I dragged my dudes with me to Westside Provisions to unearth the store, which admittedly didn't need much digging since it was easy to find from the parking deck. We walked in and were so warmly greeted. Because I waited some time to review East Fork, I've forgotten the name of the delightful woman who helped us. She was the only one in the store and at the time we entered, there were customers who were wrapping up their purchase. Upon their departure, we were the sole occupants of the space, besides her and she was eager to help without getting under our introverted skin. I knew what I came for and after some pacing and swapping of colors, I settled on two white and two green bowls. The woman wrapped up my new beautiful bowls in the paper equivalent of bubble wrap and she made me feel valued, which I don't get from any retail experiences anymore (plus I shop online 99.999% of the time). My family and I eat in these bowls at least once daily. They are gorgeous and they feel incredible in our hands. The weight, finish of the bowls are literally second to none in our kitchen, though I fully and proudly admit that I'm a cheapskate. I'm a changed woman, thanks to these bowls.
