Before coming here, you'll probably want to dispense with your preconceived notions of a gift shop. Before I got here, I previously imagined a gift shop as a ton of tacky knick-knacks and perhaps a few shelves of cheap snacks. You won't find any of that here. Instead, I stumbled upon a veritable cornucopia of local artisan goods that tantalizingly pulled at my wallet's pursestrings. My original intent was to find a gift basket for my sister, but I ended up leaving with a bagful of happy goods for my own self because there's a ton of happy here. The most gorgeous-smelling soaps and diffusers. Fudgy brownies that look like they've left no chocolate for the rest of the world, and cookies that look like they should be tree ornaments. I could sit here and name more, but neither of us have time for that. Let's just say you ought to leave yourself a little more time than you think you might need to browse through all the fridges, freezers, and shelves. The folks here are also incredibly nice. When I timidly approached the counter and requested some help with choosing items for my sister, one of the women helpfully strolled around the entire store with me, recommending goods (without an ounce of pressure), and another wrapped up the goods far better than I ever could, with bows, stuffings, and all the pretty trimmings (FYI - they also ship these items, which was helpful since I was sending a basketful of local Atlanta goodies to my sister in New York). I've seen a few complaints about the prices here, and it's a valid point. Things are a little more expensive here. But given the fact that they're curating the best, the yummiest, and the most wonderfully fragranced items, I expected to shell out a little more than I would at a cheaper gift shop. So make sure you're only coming here if you're shopping for someone special or someone who's worth the extra penny, because they only sell the goodest goods. If you need a basket for any reason - a welcome gift, a generous party favor, a self-care gift (my favorite reason to shop) - definitely make a plan to stop by Lucy's. There's a shared parking lot right out front that seems to fill up fast, but I didn't have much trouble finding a spot, and it seems like people come in and out of the stores in this complex, so a few minutes' wait should be all you need (if that). read more

Lucy's Market was like walking into an Easter wonderland! So many colors and sparkles--I didn't know where to look! I was enamored with the unique decorations and crafts for the season and picked out a couple of beautiful pastel Easter sprays. Lucy's offers a wide variety of seasonal decor items, candles, linens, tableware and ready-to-eat food items from popular local eateries including Heidi's Heavenly cookies, Belen de la Cruz empanadas, fresh local produce and more. The store is huge with so many items everywhere you turn. They also have a wine wall with a nice selection of wines. Great place to pick up a gift for a housewarming or dinner party. The service was helpful as well--an associate noticed my hands were full and kindly offered me a cart so I could continue shopping. I look forward to checking out Lucy's during other times of the year. read more

The food and atmosphere were amazing (get the ribeye). The bar and kitchen were very backed up, but our server Izzy was great! She kept updating us on the status of our order as we had some longer waits. Definitely a 10/10 would recommend, and ask for Izzy! read more

Darling place with delicious eats. Yes, it's expensive. But when you need to pick up a special meal for someone or you're super lucky like me and have a team of "moms" taking care of you post-surgery....check it out. One of my faves is the lemon vinagreitte - addictive. Their ready to cook items are mostly delicious - the chicken pot pie is my husband's fave. We also like the chicken parm with spinach; we did find the chicken with capers over polenta too salty. Tons of gifty things if you're doing a hostess gesture, and a nice selection of just ripe (ie ready to eat then) fruit of the season. Treats like the tiny key lime pie are worth it too. I'll be recovering from this back surgery for awhile, and we won't be turning our regularly scheduled Publix/WF 365/Kroger routine into a full on Lucy's thing, but we definitely won't turn down treats anyone brings us! read more

I was very disappointed in my two arrangements of flowers I ordered for my thanksgiving dinner. I picked them up on Wednesday and by Thursday morning, several of the flowers were wilted. Upon investigation, the person who made the arrangement cut the stems too short so some of them weren't even in the water. I had to try to rearrange to get them in the water but a lot of the damage was done. The overall arrangement lasted just a few days and I paid $150 for them. I left a vmail for them and never heard back. I definitely will not be going back there again. read more

pretty neat store. i hear they make awesome gift basket. they also have lots of goodies, bath soaps, foods and frozen things. little bit of everything. it gets packed in there, i went around Christmas and it was full of festive stuff and people. there is a parking lot but it's pretty full when i went. it's a nice store to go check out, they are more expensive than they should be. i bought some cookies and candies and nothing else so i can't comment on the food etc. there bath stuff smell great. i'm not sure what happen after Christmas but i've seen good reviews on gift baskets as well. i would recommend you check this place out, i had a good time strolling through read more

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Me and my coworker went in to get 7 client gift baskets made for christmas. Everyone was so helpful! They walked around with us and made a list of what we wanted to go in each gift. The baskets came out beautifully. Unfortunately, one of the baskets were forgotten at the store, and they offered to deliver it for me. You won't find better customer service anywhere else. read more

I needed an idea for a gift for a friend who just had emergency surgery. I called Lucy's Market & spoke with the marvelous Beth. She arranged for an absolutely *PERFECT* gift basket that was delivered promptly the very next day. It was all prettily arranged in a lovely basket with cello wrap & ribbon. The quality and variety of the fresh fruits & veg was amazing, along with a few sundries like olive oil, honey, etc. My vegetarian friend was extremely pleased with everything, but especially the corn on the cob and the rainbow carrots. We needed pumpkins for Halloween at the last minute and they had a whole bunch when most other places were out of stock. I was grateful to be able to get what I needed quickly. I bought a large pumpkin and they threw in a medium one for another $5. They were very helpful, had one of their staff haul the pumpkin to my car in a little cart, which I also appreciated (it was a big pumpkin). I don't think their prices are very different from Ponce City Market, for example. They had a lot of other nice items, I wish I had time to browse. Yes it's more of a high-end place. You are paying for their taste in sourcing nice items and having them in stock when you need them. If you want cheap stuff go to Publix. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience here. Walked in and immediately was asked was I looking for something specific, that's fine. It wasn't really what she said but HOW she said it that i felt off to begin with. Anyway I said "eggs" and she pointed to them( at the front of the store) but I wanted to browse around. She was still watching me I began recording the store because I wanted to send to my mom because she loves farmers market stores, anyway she then said " yea we don't really like recording here" she seemed very annoyed, I IMMEDIATELY stop recording and said "sorry I didn't know" she said "yea...." I saw her look me up and down and lingering look at me (maybe she thought I was still recording). I know how to follow directions! Anyway I felt so uncomfortable as I took a few steps and see her looking at me, so I left. And i STILL saw her watch me leave. I don't know what the deal was, but I got an unwelcome welcome. Mind you this was all within about 2 minutes. Was it the recording ? The way I looked? I can't say for sure, but I know for sure I felt unwanted there. I love going to new local markets and always have a great experience but this was the first time I ever experienced anything quite like this. read more
