I was shopping for a client with midcentury taste who likes pieces with a story behind them, and this was the perfect stop. It's a great mix of time periods and style. I received help from various people working here, and all were kind and generous with their time, even as they let me circle the store for an hour figuring out which pieces I wanted to get. Interiors Market has undergone (and from the looks of it will continue to undergo) SO many renovations and refurbishing over the last year. Milton, the new owner, and his partner Greg are the friendliest people one could hope to encounter when shopping in such a large warehouse-style shop. But PLEASE don't let the size of Interiors Market intimidate you. Like I said, Greg and Milton are wonderful, polite, and well informed about their craft. Any question I had was met with an enthusiastic response. The store has an incredible and eclectic selection of lighting, home decor, art, and furniture... and it all ranges from antique, to mid-century, right up to today's contemporary trends. Browsing through the shop may take you a whole afternoon, but frequent stops to chat (and laugh and enjoy free cheesecake samples!!!) with Mrs. Hornsby of Hornsby Cakes will not only keep you entertained, but will make you feel more than welcome into the #InteriorsMarketFamily. I am a fan of Ballard the store but this location has its issues. I do love that we have such a huge location in Atlanta, that is a positive - due to HQ also being located here i imagine. But I don't understand why it does not function as a showroom or flagship for that reason. Also this store does seem to be rearranging constantly. I cannot remember a time when I have visited and it was not moving something around. As such, staff does also always seem preoccupied by this and less inclined to help. When I can get staff to help it is usualyl because i have a specific question and they usually do not have the info on hand or may not know where I can see a specific iten on store (probably because it all moves around so often) which can be frustrating.

We called every two weeks to check on progress and were given rude, condensendating, dismissive remarks. "We will call you back," which they never did. Ever. Finally received the first fireplace which was two different colors and was malformed on one of the legs. The installers made this even worse by rubbing the grout over the piece, which discolored it even further. They committed to replacing it with a new fireplace. Still never heard ANYTHING from the owners and worked exclusively with installers. Five weeks later the installers notified us that the replacement fireplace was ready. The installer did the best he could to make it look acceptable. However, again, it was slightly discolored and deformed on the same leg. Looks like they pulled it out of the molds with heavy chains. Colossal disappointment! Huge loss of money. Will not use them for the rest of our renovations.

While the staff was helpful during the selection process I never got a warm fuzzy customer service feel during my ensuing pick-up and delivery visits. Everything is very efficient but lacked warmth or a personal touch. They never asked a quick question about how the project is going? Is there anything else they can help with? How does the hardware look? I found the staff at the ACE hardware on Northside Drive more helpful and customer friendly. Go for the selection and make it your personal mission share a smile or a grin with the staff....I sure did!

My sales assistant was very empathetic to my situation which is why I didn't give a one star but unfortunately empathy doesn't get the room done. When my guy arrived, he was told by The Dump there was Fresh Damage to the Bed. My wife and I drove down to the Dump the next day, because we couldn't get anyone on the phone. Once we arrived, we looked at the Damage and we were given substantial discount. We were scheduled to have the Bed delivered the following Tuesday by the Dump, no call no show. Rescheduled for Thursday. No call no show. My wife and I drive back down there, the Salesman who we dealt with seemed so disinterested in our Situation, so my wife dealt with the General Manager Curtis. Unlike our Salesman, Curtis seemed genuinely concerned and he and my wife worked out a deal where we eventually got 51% off the Bed along with the $300 delivery fee being Waived. We LOVE the Furniture in the store, but I'm having a hard time convincing my Wife to go back. Excellent Prices, I just hope Curtis hires more dedicated salesman like himself. I would Definitely Give a 5 to the Store, but a Zero to the Salesman and Customer Service. With that said, I settled on 3 Stars.
