Another coffee movement spot in the city, you already know they serve quality coffee. They have multiple locations, but this time I decided to switch it up with a donut and their coffee soft serve. I was so excited to try the soft serve, you can really appreciate the coffee flavor, and the texture was creamy and smooth. I'd probably skip the donut next time, it wasn't anything special. The chocolate topping was a little too dark for my taste, and the dough itself was dense. I love the vibe of this coffee shop with all the vinyl records playing in the background. The service was friendly, too. Just a heads-up: parking in this neighborhood can be tricky, and no laptops are allowed, so it's definitely not a study spot. But perfect for meeting up with friends over coffee.

Summary: Coffee! Soft serve! Coffee soft serve! Details: If we're being honest, my experiences with TCM have been pretty inconsistent, with the main reason for this being the fact that they rotate their coffee offerings every so often, sometimes to options that we just have not enjoyed at all, be it due to the roaster, or not having dialed it in a way that we've enjoyed. Which, honestly, is probably something you'll run into at any coffee shop that regularly changes out their menu, so take that as you will. What's special about this particular location is that they also offer coffee soft serve and donuts, in addition to their coffee selection, which is something I've been craving ever since having it as Mametora in Tokyo! And while not as good as what I had in Japan, mostly due to it being too sweet, it's a nice option to have when I'm craving a rich, coffee-forward dessert. Better yet, do what Mametora does and serve it up as a float with some black coffee / espresso to balance it out. Accessibility: Smaller space, with some accessible two top seating inside and outside. The main counter where you order is standard bar height though, so there may be a bit of height difficulty there.

I'm SO happy to have Coffee Movement in the Mission. It's one of my favorite coffeeshops in SF, so it's so nice to have a location in the neighborhood! This space is well decorated with lots of record players, and I loved the music they had playing. There was also a good amount of seating. I came in on a Thursday morning around 10am and there was no line! The baristas were super friendly and quick in making my drink. I went with the Vanilla Lavender Latte, which had a fantastic flavor without tasting too sweet or artificial. It is still of the same quality that I love from their other locations. I will need to be back sometime to try their donuts and soft serve (and check out Side A)! Otherwise, my only complaint is how limited their hours are. :')

I've been a longtime Coffee Movement fan so I was happy to finally visit the new spot! My order inadvertently turned out to be a little citrus pairing, with the orange cream latte (a seasonal item that I always look for) as well as a lemon donut (literally fresh out of the fryer and all pillowy and bouncy). Also appreciated the vinyl bar/side a space and the contrast of industrial/metal vs. organic/floral elements! What a lovely place for a slow morning :")

There was a long line without any parking available. But it was all worth it! The best coffee I've had so far!

Spacious spot for your work at home needs if you are able to get a spot!…read more I came to coffee shop on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to grab a seat at the communal table to do some work. They do offer WiFi is a great bonus and they have a restroom for customers. There is a couple of 2 person tables, a window side table for solo patrons, a communal table that can seat 6-8, and lots of outdoor seating. I would classify coffee shop as your neighborhood cafe that is great to get some work done and not necessarily a spot with unique drinks. They do have a good selection of pastries for you to try from (unfortunately I was too full prior to try!) I do appreciate that they did have samples for you to try out. Something cool I noticed is that they did have individual mini water pitchers with mini cups for you to take from their sugar/milk station. It's very thoughtful and I appreciate the attention to detail. Not a spot to drive to or add to the list as a must try but if you need a spot to lock in, this is a good choice if you're in the area :)

Our group came around 1pm and was able to grab the last 3 sets. Our party of 6 was able to share the 3 sets and feel relatively full. There was a range of dishes, of the selection the tempura and the silky eat was quite delicious. We found the Napa to be a bit floral for our taste but a perfect palette cleanser. The staff were the sweetest and combined tables together to let our party sit together. They even put a candle in the matcha tart for my birthday!

I got the strawberry matcha and the seasonal lavender matcha. Both drinks were bitter and tasted watered down. Default sweetness was not too sweet but the matcha didn't have the creaminess even with regular milk. Strawberry puree was good but not enough to carry the diluted matcha. The matcha cream pie was solid. Soft matcha filling with very crispy edge. Whipped cream on top was also tasty. Would not come back here for the matcha. Maybe their food is better. With matcha coming out that quick feels like it wasn't prepared well and lost its quality. Street parking here or parking garage next street over.

I'm a lover of pandan and had SO much trouble choosing a drink because of it lol. I ended up ordering the kopi klepon and it was amazing! The drink was super creamy and earthy, and I loved how vibrant the pandan flavor was. Oftentimes when I get pandan drinks the flavor is way too light, but this had the perfect amount. It also had a bit of palm sugar in it, which added just the right level of sweetness. Definitely lived up to the hype!

A couple tables along the side but overall not too big inside. Couldn't decide what to get but I loved that their menu included visuals for the components of each drink. Price is slightly on the higher end but I guess you can't get Indonesian coffee anywhere else in SF. Ended up with a macchiato and cappuccino to try. Staff was friendly and I appreciate that they were informative about the macchiato being different than how Starbucks does it. Our drinks were freshly made and ready in 5 mins. Size of the macchiato was definitely a lot smaller than I realized but the coffee was nice and bold. Both drinks allowed us to appreciate the pure coffee bean taste without being too bitter. Looking forward to coming back and trying the popular kopi pandan!

We both loved our drinks, and I also appreciated the portion sizes--they were just right and really satisfying. I ordered the Velvet Matcha Cloud (a matcha latte with matcha cloud), and my sister got the Matcha Strawberry Cloud, which includes an organic matcha latte topped with house-made strawberry cloud and dried strawberries. Both drinks were beautifully made and tasted great. They also have a wide variety of drink options beyond matcha, including coffee classics like signature pour-overs and espressos, as well as tea and other hot drinks. Their food menu is just as extensive, offering pastries like crepes, croissants, scones, muffins, and even sandwich bites. I really loved the vibe inside Q! It's very aesthetic with a soft, creamy, almost cozy atmosphere. Since we went last Friday on an afternoon, it was quite busy with a mix of tech workers and college students working at tables, but the space still felt comfortable. The staff were kind and working hard despite how busy it was, which I appreciated. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good drinks, a pretty atmosphere, and a productive café environment.
