Love love loved my dining experience here. A local recommended it, so another friend and I ate here for lunch before a concert. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. Service was good too. The hostess even offered to take our pic when we were heading out. We chose to sit outside on the beautiful patio because the weather was nice, but the inside, wow, it is just gorgeous. This is a boutique type hotel with a restaurant that's very unique. GPS had us lost, but really we passed it up and didn't notice that there's a fancy sign in the wrought iron gate. Highly recommend and hope to return!! read more

This place is quintessential New Orleans! If you're looking for great food and a cool place to hang out, this is it. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect whether you want a relaxed brunch or just a fun place to grab cocktails. The building itself is an old house that's been turned into lodging and a restaurant, which adds so much charm and character. If you're visiting NOLA, this is definitely a must-visit spot. Inside, the décor is eclectic, fun, and full of personality. It's the kind of place where you can comfortably sit at the bar for cocktails, enjoy a meal, or just relax. There are several side rooms with couches and seating areas, which makes it great for meeting friends, family, or colleagues to unwind after a busy day--or even just popping in while strolling around the city. We went for Saturday brunch, and the menu isn't huge--which I actually love because it means everything is done well. There were plenty of options, including gluten-free and vegetarian choices. The seating is comfortable and spaced out so you don't feel crowded by other diners. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was really good. The cocktails were also excellent--generous pours and well made. After brunch, we walked out back to the pool area and enjoyed another cocktail while soaking in the beautiful day. It was the perfect ending to a great brunch experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place with great food, great drinks, and a uniquely New Orleans! read more

One of our favorite dining experiences in Nee Orleans. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful, the service was personal and attentive, the food was amazing. We'll be recreating the whipped goat cheese at home (to the best of our abilities). The candied jalapeños on chicken and a biscuit were the perfect touch. And last but not least, holy shit the praline ice cream sandwich so good, I'm sad it's over. Don't hesitate, eat here and get the ice cream sandwich for me! read more

Our server, Sydney, was a dream! She recommended the brussel sprouts that were incredible! All of the food was so flavorful and cooked to perfection, I'd especially suggest going during brunch for steak and eggs! The restaurant is very aesthetic and definitely a great place for cute pictures! I want to try to convince my girl group to come back here before we leave town! read more

Came in for a night cap after dinner at Commander's palace and meet back up with rest of the family. Busy spot with few different rooms of ample seating. First ordered the Chloe Dancer - nice and refreshing, followed by a Vodka gimlet. The gimlet was different from what I'm used to and much stronger so bartender had a nice heavy hand but gimlet wasn't my favorite. Overall a nice spot for a drink and they offer some food options as well. read more

The Chloe is a very aesthetic location. I love the ambiance, decor, art. Outdoor, indoor and pool space. Went for happy hour. Hosts greeted me when I walked in led me the very short distance to inside bar. The bar wasn't busy but still took me awhile to be greeted by the bartenders. Which is off putting for a slow bar. Enjoyed the cocktail I ordered. It was the seasonal coquito. Snacks were enjoyable. Ordered food from happy hour menu it was brought out they were finger foods but I wasn't offered napkins or utensils had to go in search of them. Based on the experience so far we decided not to order anything else. There are so many better places for the price point that also offer good service. read more

This place feels like the kind of restaurant you end up staying at longer than planned. The food came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care instead of rushed through the kitchen. Our server checked in just enough without hovering, which I really appreciated. It's not too fancy and it's comfortable--honestly, that's what'll keep me coming back. read more

The vibe here is pretty dark and moody, which can be cool. I really enjoyed the pulled pork, it was super flavorful and tender. Unfortunately, the broccoli salad was a bit of a letdown, nothing special there. Just a heads-up, they automatically add gratuity to the bill, so keep that in mind when you're paying. There are definitely other good spots nearby if you're looking for something different. read more

The food is DELICIOUS! I've been here multiple times and the food never misses. The menu changes so try not to fall in love with any specific thing. The service depends. One of my faves spots for a cocktail on St. Charles. They change the drink menu up so there is always something new on the menu. I had the passion french 75 and it was divine. The sazerac was also very good. Bonus points for a relaxing spot outside pool side. read more

This is a newer hotel/restaurant in a renovated St Charles Ave mansion. It is just down the street from The Columns, a similar edifice now called merely Columns. There's a nice front courtyard area for warmer days as well as a back area pool area. The interior is a series of fun, eclectic Victorian style spaces with lots of antiquated charm and places to sit, lounge and have drinks, plus the more formal restaurant area toward the back. The stairs have a wonderful carpet with alligators embedded in it. So fun. Service was very relaxed and professional. We were accommodated well the entire time. I had a Sazarac for a cocktail and it was quite good. For my main course I selected the duck which was on a bed of shredded cabbage. The meal was quite good although the duck did have a lot of fat, tasty nonetheless. This is a fun place to come and hang out, have a drink or a meal, and the hotel rooms must be fun too. read more

Beautiful hotel with incredible dining! The property alone is worth a visit (absolutely stunning), but the food makes it even more special. Try to go during the cooler months so you can sit outside; it's a wonderful experience. I've been twice, and both times the goat cheese appetizer and cookie sandwich dessert were favorites. It's a bit on the pricey side, but overall, worth it! read more

We had an easy late lunch indoors at The Chloe and I was so charmed by the well-maintained grandeur of this lovely mansion. We ordered the seafood salad, focaccia with goat cheese, chicken nuggets and twin stack burger. It was the perfect amount to share among three people and there wasn't a dud among them. I am so impressed with the thoughtful recipes and preparation, and everything was served at the appropriate temperature. I don't think I've ever ordered chicken nuggets from a real restaurant but these are fried to a crispy finish in a heavy, seasoned batter and served with honey saffron sauce that we utilized for fry dipping when nuggets quickly vanished. I would order a pint of this sauce if possible. For a cocktail I recommend the Faded Polaroid, it was lovely rye whiskey with orange notes but not too sweet. read more

The Chloe is a whole vibe. Everything about this place is effortlessly chic--the decor, the setup, the ambiance. You could literally take a picture in any corner and it would be Insta-worthy. Our group all ordered different dishes, and not a single complaint--actually, quite the opposite. Everyone was raving about how good everything was. And our waiter? A total pro. He was always there right when we needed something, like a drink-check ninja. Never hovered, never missed a beat. After brunch, we hung out by the pool, sipping drinks and soaking in the atmosphere. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. I seriously love The Chloe. Can't wait to come back. read more

Beautiful space a great hostess greeted me on my visit there on September 15, 2025 around noon. The pool is beautiful. There were plenty of chairs at the time that I went. We had great drinks at the bar. They have frozen drink options. I had an espresso martini the bartender was a very accommodating and made the drink for me and I loved it, my friend and I spent a great part of the day there and it was peaceful and lovely. The bathrooms are large enough to be changing rooms very clean very accommodating. There's even a little table in there so you don't have to put your stuff on the floor, I could walk around barefoot from the bar to the pool with no problem, I really enjoy myself very relaxing spot for a staycation read more

This is a very groovy and very hip hotel, restaurant and bar which my experience was just sitting next to the pool enjoying some cocktails with friends at a table during happy hour. The hotel looks like what it is a converted home made into a hotel which they have done as nice a job as you can with a project like that. The back patio and pool area is nice enough although the pool is far smaller and MUCH more narrow than I expected. To summarize the experience I can just say "expensive" and to me at least I didn't find the cocktails any more amazing or special than a cocktail at any of the many dive bars we have around the city. I do hear they have a nice burger here and it is around $20 which also includes fries. The burger is two thin patties which is a bit of a turn off for me as I prefer a traditional NOLA style burger with a single large thick meat patty instead of this new hipster smash burger craze going on. At some point I will get around to trying out the burger and it does have quite a reputation as being great but so do a LOT of other smash style burgers that I've found not to my old school taste. read more

As locals, we decided to switch things up and try something different for lunch--and what a fantastic choice it was! From the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff at the door to the overall experience at the hotel, everything was just delightful. Our waiter, Travis, was a real standout with his great energy and warm service. My husband, who's a huge fan of mushroom risotto, was thoroughly impressed. The dish was packed with mushrooms and generously topped with cashews--absolutely delicious! I was in the mood for a solid cheeseburger, which is how we discovered this place (thanks to the mouthwatering pictures on Yelp), and I'm so glad we did. It did not disappoint! The burger was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to my next one. They even had thin, homemade pickles on it--sounds a bit quirky, but they were spot-on. The French fries were also perfect, reminiscent of classic McDonald's fries--hot, fresh, and crispy. We'll definitely be back, and we're already looking forward to our next visit! read more

I booked a "Staycation" here for my 50th birthday...I am a NOLA native and live on Magazine about a mile away...We drove over in the golf cart (Yep, we're one of those people). The stay was *beyond my expectations* (we had been there before for drinks but not to the hotel part). Every single person we encountered on staff was SO kind and fun from the moment we walked in. Started the evening at the bar, which had a great mix of neighbors/regulars (with cute dogs) and tourists. The liquor selection and cured cocktails are magical. We checked into Room #4, which was perfect. Every room at the hotel has a record player, a Marshall external mini amp/speaker and the best mini bar selection...just knowing it was there was awesome (we did eventually cave in and enjoy some flavored pretzel twists). Dinner was SO yummy. Our waiter, Jasper, was a rock star...He arranged for a nice surprise birthday beverage. We had the gumbo (a meal in itself that was so good we saved half of it to take home and ended up devouring it cold from the mini fridge before we left the next morning...it was *that good*), the goat cheese app (the bread and the honey poured on top was divine), the stuffed redfish (once I was done with my meal, the empty plate almost looked like it was licked clean...Although tempted, I was actually able to keep my composure and not do that...) and the double stack burger (also saved to bring home and perfect for a snack this evening). The room was the ideal hideaway (located at the back of the second floor) for our little staycation. We jammed out to Muddy Waters on the turntable while getting ready (next time, we are going to borrow one of their themed record stacks...It was a work night...Monday...so we had to keep things low key). It was super easy to sign into streaming apps on the room TV...After dinner, we watched the end of the NFL Playoff game and then Netflixed and Chilled. Even though there was a large-ish reception going on downstairs, we heard nothing from our room. The breakfast (included with the room) was the perfect way to start my work day the next day. It arrived right at the selected time. Delicious coffee, eggs, breakfast potatoes and crispy bacon. The hotel wifi was great. I worked for a few hours from the room (they have a generous 1:00 pm check-out time) before we headed back home. I love the jewel toned decor, repurposed furniture and quirky ambiance (artwork, photographs, hidden/not so hidden alligator motif). They give you a *real key* for the room, which is a nice retro touch. The shower was delightful, the bedding clean, crisp and comfy. I could not think of a better way to spend the first day of the 50th year of my life. We will be planning another staycation soon when it's a little warmer and we can also enjoy the pool :) Thank you, folks at The Chloe! read more

Never had dinner at the Chloe before, so here's my experience! We shared fries, the broccoli cauliflower salad and the goat cheese and chili pepper toast. The salad had balanced flavors, crunch and zippy mint. The goat cheese and chili was both cool, yet spicy! Entrees were underseasoned. We had the mushroom risotto that needed more salt, and the stuffed redfish was good, though the hollandaise was a bit heavy on the lemon. The creamed corn on the special fish was EXCELLENT. Service was warm & attentive and an overall wonderful experience. read more

Still consistently going to The Chloe and it's always so good! Went for dinner recently and let me tell you -- I ate some of the best dishes of the year here and it's only February! You have to get the risotto and chocolate cake!!!! The mushroom risotto was actually the best risotto I've ever eaten! The cashews and fried garlic was to die for. I am still thinking about it! The chocolate cake is also a must order! It comes with a fantastic chocolate ganache and melted chocolates poured over the top. It's also very big so we took home the leftovers! Oh, and they have a delicious martini! read more

Finally a new (to me) restaurant that deserves a rave review. Our server was Nelson and he did a wonderful job making our visit memorable. We were seated in a smaller alcove that was very quiet versus the larger dining room which was quite loud......win for us! We started with a couple Bottles of wine and a few appetizers. The cracklings were fresh cooked and were still popping when delivered. We all agreed they needed to have some pork belly left on them. Lightly seasoned and needed Crystals. I had the pineapple gazpacho and was hit with a twang and sweetness that I didn't except. It was good but I wasn't able to finish the bowl of sweet and sour. The pork and shrimp dumplings were very delightful four of us split two orders of three. By far the best out of the appetizers. Our main course consist of the chicken katsu sandwich, burger, shrimp lobster roll and the mushroom melt. The chicken nasty was delish. I finished the remainder of the large sandwich my wife ordered. The vegetarian shroom dish was flavorful enjoyed by all. The burger wasn't wowing but it had a nice flavored patty. The shrimp lobster roll was good but 1/2 of our group thought it was too heavy in celery. The ice cream sandwich was heavenly and scarfed down quickly. The chocolate dish was dense and not terribly sweet. We will be back to try their dinner menu out. read more

Went here for brunch on a Saturday in late March. Easy to get a reservation. The restaurant is in a historic mansion on St Charles in the Garden district. We took the free Street Car there. Couldn't be easier. The server was very nice and recognized it took 10+ minutes to greet us. After that it was great. We got the fried chicken biscuit sandwich which was seriously amazing. Also had the shrimp and pork dumplings - delish. And green beans almondine. Highly recommend all of these dishes. Great ambience with the cozy overdecorated New Orleans look that I love. read more

Met a friend here for drinks only a couple of days after Christmas and had a great time. It's such a beautiful space, inside and out. It was around 6pm and although mostly empty, the bar service was pretty backed up. I had the Office Party which was the best cocktail I have had in a long time. My friend had the Five Families because she likes mezcal. For our second round, they were out of one of the cocktails, I forget which. I had the Chloe Dancer which was also great. The bar seems understaffed - while there are plenty of servers and hosts floating around, the bartenders are cranking out drinks as fast as they can with no end in sight. Even when I tried to time my trip to the bar right, the bartenders were still backed up. And happy hour had long since been over! read more

I've written a review here before when my experience wasn't great, and I really wanted to give The Chloe another chance because I love this place and want it to succeed. Unfortunately, some of the front-of-house issues I mentioned last time were still very noticeable. The host this time was a dark-haired, high-school-aged girl who was sitting at a table with her boyfriend, eating, and doing homework while guests were arriving, completely ignoring her job. I do not understand how someone this young and unprepared is allowed to be the first person customers see. It made everything awkward and frustrating right from the start. That said, the food was absolutely fantastic. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious, which is exactly why I keep coming back despite these issues. Grace, the redhead at the front desk who I remember from my last visit, was amazing. She actually knows how to run the floor, is attentive, and should absolutely be the host instead. The dark-haired girl really needs more training or a role better suited to her level of experience. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the bartender Michael. He was friendly, professional, and truly made the evening enjoyable. I really hope management takes a serious look at the front-of-house setup. The Chloe has everything it needs to be incredible, but guests deserve competent staff at the door to match the amazing food and wonderful service from people like Grace and Michael. read more
