The Little Easy is such a cute locals bar with a really welcoming vibe. The bartender was actually the owner, and she was incredibly friendly--making conversation and genuinely trying to connect with everyone who walked in. She even had dog treats and water out for the local doggies, which was such a sweet touch. We had some fries and a few beers, and everything was great. It felt cozy, relaxed, and community-focused--exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble into. Would absolutely come back.

Great little neighborhood bar with good basic food No frills in the centre of a high end area- The 12.00 steak night was actually very good! A solid little clean dive bar Gotta love the one star review complaining- It's not the Ritz! It's a cheap local bar folks Unbelievable

****Sigh**** This bar is the perfect bar and it's in the perfect spot. I was stuck in a ridiculous amount of traffic on Wednesday, August 14th. I was just straight annoyed! I walked and had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of meeting Joe (while he was doing Joe things). Joe definitely made me smile and laugh and so did B (please forgive me my girl. I didn't write it down.) This is a cool vibe small and quaint ambiance. I'll definitely be back.

Loved this neighborhood bar/restaurant for its ambiance and pressed Po-boys. We received personal service and can't wait to go back!

Great little locals place but all are welcome. Neat and clean, friendly bartender, very attentive too! I would recommend you popping in. While we didn't eat, the food looked and smelled great!

So I'm in Nola for the first one and The Little Easy is my first restaurant stop after just wondering around the neighborhood where my hotel is. First reaction, it's cool, nothing extraordinary. It's giving local dive bar, where everyone knows your name ;) The young lady (I think she was the bartender) was very nice and welcoming. Another guy (maybe manager) was cool too. I'm a Jersey Shore fan and one episode they talked about eating Muffuletta sandwiches. It was on the menu here, so...I got it! Here's what I had: -Muffuletta -Fries -Bud Light Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious!! When I arrived what turned out to be the cook was sitting at the bar on his phone. When I placed my food order he went back to the open kitchen. I can guarantee he washed his hands BEFORE he made my meal, but I was hungry and hot so instead of doing my usual "Umm excuse me" I said a quiet prayer and hopefully I don't get sick in NOLA! Will I go back? Sure, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so!

Everything about the bar is amazing. Fast service, friendly and best pressed sandwich's. Blerta is the owner, she is cutie pie. They are opening a new restaurant called P3.

We were caught in the rain, so we ran for shelter and found The Little Easy. This is a dive bar ambiance, if you're looking for that vibe. At 2:00 in the afternoon, there's not a whole not happening. But the booth was comfy, so we sat inside. I opted for a French 75, but the bartender/server opted to put seltzer instead of champagne in it. It was good! Hats off to the bartender for putting her twist on it. For lunch, I got the muffuletta. It was...different. It was a pressed sandwich, and that was something I was my used to. Still good though. Recommended if you're in the Warehouse District and need a bite to eat.

This place was great! We were being tourists for the weekend and happened to catch the end of the Halloween parade, and then on our walk home we decided to pop in. The service was friendly and we were able to catch the game on the TVs. We didn't get anything to eat, but people definitely seemed to come in knowing what they wanted to eat, so I'd recommend getting something. The ambiance is very neighborly. Everyone seemed to know the bartenders and they seemed to know everyone right back. It was great!

The game started at 11:00, which is also their opening time. A group of us started to form outside was we counted down the minutes to kickoff. When the door was unlocked, we headed in and found our respective places. I was by myself so I grabbed a high-top in the bar section with a good view of the giant screen. TVs everywhere playing many different games! Grabbed a drink from the bartended and settled in for a good time. Around halftime I was hungry and decided to order some food. It's an interesting ordering system. There's no table service - you walk into the kitchen where there's a huge menu board on the wall. You get in line and order at a special cashier station in the kitchen, and you either pay there or add it to your bar tab. They give you a buzzer and off you head back to your seats. I got a shrimp basket with fries, which took about 15-20 minutes. The shrimp were fresh, and everything was cooked and seasoned properly. The sauces were homemade and my experience was fantastic. Drink prices were great as well. A Jack and Coke was only eight bucks. Will definitely head here again if I ever have the chance.

It almost feels like stepping back in history to an elegant European restaurant from another country. One thing viable at first was the collection of historical military portraits and photographs displayed on the wall! Their add such an interesting character! One of those restaurant that offers more than food. Now let's talk about FOOD!!! Luke offers a lovely combination of French, German, and Louisiana Creole cuisine. The menu includes everything from traditional shrimp and grits and Gulf seafood to European classics like crispy pork schnitzel with spaetzle. If you're a seafood lover, the raw bar is another highlight, especially the fresh Gulf oysters!!! We ordered Shrimp cocktail? the Pork schnitzel and shrimp and grits. Another great reason to visit is their daily happy hour, traditionally offered from 3 PM to 6 PM, with oyster specials and discounted drinks. Definitely worth checking the current promotions before visiting!!! New Orleans has a fascinating French and German cultural heritage, and Luke brings those influences together beautifully through its brasserie concept. The hostess was lovely, and our server was very welcoming and friendly!!! However, one thing that I found a little strange was the seating situation...Apparently, reservations are highly recommended, even though there were plenty of unoccupied tables when we arrived!!! We were told those tables were reserved, so we ended up sitting at the bar instead...And let me tell you, those backless bar stools are NOT comfortable at all!!! Haha!!! No back support means hello, back pain!!! Especially if you're planning to sit there for a while and enjoy your meal!!! I personally would have preferred a regular table with comfortable chairs.BUT I have to admit, the ambiance was pretty cool!!! So my suggestion? Make a reservation in advance and request a regular table unless you don't mind sacrificing a little back comfort for the bar experience!!! Voilà!!! No valet but you can use hotel's valet and there is paid public parking...

Overall, the food was tasty, especially the seafood dishes. The green peppers were definitely spicier than I expected, so I ended up picking most of them out, but everything else was really flavorful. The portions are on the smaller side considering the price, so I'd keep that in mind when ordering. That said, the crispy Brussels sprouts absolutely live up to the reputation -- definitely one of the highlights! Service was another strong point. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and they checked in periodically without being overbearing. Everything felt pretty well managed throughout the meal The ambiance is more of a classic, casual diner-style setup, with dim lighting and paper-covered tables. Seating was comfortable overall, although the space felt a little tight in some areas Overall, if you don't mind paying a bit more for smaller portions, I'd still say this is a spot worth checking out while you're in New Orleans. The location is also super convenient if you're exploring around Bourbon Street, so it's an easy stop while checking out the area!

Beautiful history, disappointing absinthe…read more I'd been wanting to try absinthe for years, and I couldn't think of a better place than the Old Absinthe House. The building has been around since 1806 and is full of stories, so I walked in excited and ready for the whole experience. The history is definitely there, but the place also had more of a dive bar feel than I expected. For a landmark that leans so heavily on its legacy, it felt less like stepping into the past and more like any other Bourbon Street bar. What I was really hoping for was the history and the traditional preparation: the slow water drip over the sugar cube that absinthe is known for. The website talks up the ritual, so I expected someone to walk me through it. Instead, our server seemed to be having a bad day and gave us very little attention. I got a half-hearted explanation, she set a sugar cube on fire, and then crushed it into the glass. The flaming method is a newer trend, not the classic 19th-century ritual, and it showed. I ended up with a $25, 132-proof drink that honestly tasted terrible. It felt awkward the whole time, which is a shame because this place should be the highlight of an absinthe lover's trip. The history earns the stars. The atmosphere, service, and drink did not. If you go, ask for the traditional drip, and hopefully you'll get a server who enjoys sharing the history as much as the building deserves.
