I arrived just in time for lunch and the food was delicious. Aside from the multiple notable water stains on my wine glass and the two bartenders bickering over proper pour size, this was a positive experience. The food variety is great. They had at least 2 salads, 2 entrees, 2 sides and a dessert. No to go cups if you want coffee or tea for your flight. I did not see magazines to take at this particular Centurion Lounge as I've seen in others. I also did not see showers or a massage room. Reserve your space ahead on the AMEX app. They'll hold your spot for 30 minutes. read more

Love this new location that has been there for 2 1/2 years. It was a very welcoming addition. Not as big as other AMEX Centurion lounges but no complaints on the quality of food and selection. It is a little hike from other gates if not on Delta. For sure will return when flying through PHX. read more

Enjoyed my visit to this lounge the other day. Very well maintained with some good places for sitting or working. It was fairly crowded when I went, but still plenty of room to move around. The food was pretty good, they had the makings of charcuterie, pasta salad, nachos, and beef brisket. Also good chocolate chip cookies. The bar looked well stocked with stuff that's kind of middle shelf. Worthwhile if you have a pass to get in. read more

My first time at this centurion and I was pleasantly surprised, especially considering the not great reviews. It was spacious and quite empty while I was there. They also switched from breakfast to lunch during my stay, so I got to experience both. The food area was well-kept and I enjoyed the offerings as much or more than any other centurion. I had employees walk by and ask how I was doing, take my plates, etc. I was very pleased. I personally like it much more than the escapes lounge in terminal 3, which has better reviews. read more

One of the better lounges in Amex world. Food is excellent - fresh and healthy options - staff is wonderful and not over packed on Saturday though can be full Sunday pm. Great express machine, water dispenser, first class bar. Subtract 1* for small bathroom with only one stall and hard wooden chairs - need more plush comfy chairs. Unfortunately not too convenient to southwest D gates - allow 15-20m to walk. But only 5m to C gates. read more

I'm not just a frequent premium traveler, I work in the hospitality and service industry. I want to specifically thank Mehdi for the incredible human he is. He not only remembered me from a few months ago, he has always gone above and beyond to ensure my experience was unforgettable. He's incredible at his bartending craft, but an even better relationship builder with fellow card members. I will go out of my way to travel here if that means I can spend time with Mehdi and his team. Amex is lucky to have such a genuine and authentic representation of their brand and service promise. I hope he continues to be recognized for the value he delivers. read more

Not the best around. The good - not as crowded as most. The bad - most of the food / drinks not replenished regularly; no plates or silverware; no glasses EXCEPT dirty on tables spread about on the tables and chairs in the lounge. It's really gone down hill - a year ago it was good and what most of us are used to with respect to the Centurion. Management must've changed but it was certainly a surprise the from the last time I was here. Maybe it was just a bad day. read more

First time at this lounge at Skyharbor. I would definitely say it is better than what is around the airport, but it seemed to be at capacity when I was there. Supposedly, there was an increase in occupancy due to the ice storms of 2022 - I waited about 10 minutes to enter. The process was smooth with a text message system. The lounge itself has some nice views of the B terminal. The bar has some specialty drinks which were nice. The seating area is not too large compared to other Amex Centurion Lounges I have been to, but adequate. The food area had some issues with missing silverware and plates. The water and coffee area were missing cups too - a minor nuisance. read more

Any centurion lounge is 4 stars to start. Exceptional service and booze. Nice buffet for dinner with healthier choices. I admit I did have the cheesecake but chose that over the platter of chocolate chip cookies. You can or can't have both depending on your view. Nice view of the tarmac. It was 100 deg F out and it was radiating through the windows. Plenty of room. Plenty of seating. My only kinda criticism is if you're a black card holder, do better. The seating area for that was sub par. Anyways - good while in PHX. Expect a hike to get there is you're in the A terminal. read more

I've been to centurion lounges at DFW, LAS, CLT, PHL, JFK, and MIA. This one seemed to be similar in terms of cleanliness, and range of food. The space is not too large, the ones at JFK, DFW, CLT felt larger, I don't know if it's layout or actual footage. Around the food area, it feels cramped. But the lounge isn't as crowded as I've seen other ones (it's 10am local right now). Usually these lounges can barely fit enough people esp with families. Service was fast and the staff seemed to pick things up pretty quick but it's also less busy right now. Usually when I'm at DFW or CLT, also main hubs for AA, you have to flag them down bc it's so busy to clean your table. read more

So glad Phoenix airport has a centurion lounge. Located in Terminal 4, right next to gate B21. Luckily there was no waiting and lounge was relatively less busy so we had the best time. They had a nice buffet which their staff helps assemble for you. There was a very delicious tomato chipotle soup, Caesar salad, Mexican corn, turkey sandwiches, shrimp grits and steamed vegetables. They had the most delicious coffee cake I ever had! And also cookies, mango smoothie and cheesecake. The best experience was at the bar.. the 2 bar tenders Monica and Jorge were fantastic. They whipped up excellent whiskey cocktails which my hubby loves. Wine selection is really good, I loved the Brut rose and Chardonnay. All the staff here is excellent. read more

The Centurion Lounge - Amex centurion lounge buffet Phx - Airport Lounges Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

PHX across Terminal 4, Gate B22 Open 9-5 every day Shared with Escape Lounge, which is also available to Amex Platinum members I might just be a n00b because I only recently gained access to the Centurion Lounges, but I felt like this was great! My flight as somewhere around A25, so it was a bit of a trek, but I had a three hour layover so I definitely wanted to make it. They made sure to reduce access for social distancing, told us (although not enforced) to keep our masks on when we weren't eating or drinking. The bathroom was clean and nice to use. I ordered a cocktail (I ... can't remember the name. something with moon and made of grapefruit juice) and asked for it to have reduced alcohol and it was perfect. They had an array of foods, including soup, sandwich, and several types of desserts. My favorite was the shrimp and grits, actually, and I kind of enjoyed how unnecessarily Extra it was to have them in tiny single-serving cast irons. The salads were admittedly less than great-- the croutons had obviously sat in the greens too long and had become soggy/soft. I loved the cookies so much I had 2 while I was there and then took one to go.. which I promptly ate on my flight. All the seats had power outlets and the board for flights was fairly prominently displayed. I came here again on my return flight only to find out the hours were 9-5 :( which meant I couldn't go in, but they were partnered with Escape Lounge and had the same food there, so if you have Amex Platinum and you're there between 8-9 or 5-8p, you can visit Escape Lounge instead. read more

This lounge is OK but it's not as high quality as some other Centurion Lounges--for example, at DFW. I was here for a few hours in the morning. The lounge isn't super large but is a decent size for PHX, and it's the big cousin to the Escape Lounge that it shares some features with. It is well-light and benefits from large windows. The breakfast buffet was meh. There were no eggs when I went up, and only the last few scraps of fruit were left. They did later bring out more eggs. There were muffins (the pre-packaged taste variety), somewhat dry raisin French toast, wheat berry toast, and soggy breakfast potatoes. It was very "continental breakfast at a three-star hotel" vibes. But then came the lunch, and it was a whole different story! They had a delicious short rib with cornbread...I am very picky about cornbread and it was moist & delicious! Everything was bursting with flavor, from the herbed jasmine rice to the chicken and the Southwest corn salad. It's honestly "a tale of two lounges" when it comes to breakfast v. lunch here. Definitely restaurant-quality food at lunch, which is why I upped my review from three to four stars. Prior to 10:30 AM, there's a very limited bar, and then it opens to a broader menu. From a view perspective, it's great that the lounge sees out to the airstrip, with vistas of the Arizona mountains in the background. The back dining area has charging ports, although they were hit or miss in other parts of the lounge. Despite the qualms with breakfast, this lounge sure beats sitting at the gate! I'd be happy to come back through here for lunch any time :-) read more

On the smaller end, it reminds me of the SFO lounge size pre-expansion, so it can get very packed quickly during peak hours (e.g. Sunday, 6p-7:30p). The Escape Lounge was limited only to British Airways passengers when I stopped by, which probably contributed to the crowdedness in this lounge Since I already had dinner, I only had a glimpse of the food which seemed quite extensive and tasty. Staff were trying their best to clean up dirty cups and plates, and the bar seemed overwhelmed with a long queue. Didn't have a bevvy, but the tea selection was quite lacking here. Overall I would say this location is more on the "average" side as it's smaller than JFK, LAS, SEA, and SFO locations in terms of tight seating arrangements. It also got really loud in here during peak hours, I'd recommend bringing some headphones if you're by yourself! I think this location is due for a refresh, and but worth stopping by for a quick bite on departure! read more

I was so excited to hear that there was a Centurion Lounge opened in Sky Harbor Terminal 4. It is by gate B24, which you have been to T-4 you will know that it is the international section and is not nearly as busy as the rest of T-4. I visited the lounge during COVID and they did a great job of social distancing everyone and providing food and drinks within the restrictions. The food they had available was really good and I do have to say the staff was so friendly and helpful. I was working from the lounge and the WiFi was good but could have been a bit faster. This of course could have also been due to the amount of people using the network at the same time. Traveling to/from and through Phoenix just got that much better with the lounge being there. read more

Ashley's the front was EXTREMELY nice to show us to our table. She has amazing customer service and really kicked off the lounge experience with a great attitude (she is what I would want on my sales/operations team)! Everything is basically self serve, they have people giving you the food at the buffet to fight Covid transfer (I love this style of serving). The lounge is very comfortable! Multiple different styles of seating. The food isn't too bad either! Coffee, open bar, and great views of downtown PHX and all the planes. This lounge is so much better then the one at LAX... PHX really is the friendliest airport. I will be scheduling longer layovers just to come here. read more

The food here is amazing! Easily the best lounge food I've had. This is one of the smallest centurion lounges I've ever been to but it's hot some really nice views of planes landing. I really like that the screens for monitoring your flight are easily visible from most spot in the lounge. You should only really come here if you're flying American because the lounge is really out of the way for all other airlines. read more

Probably the best run Centurion, and I've been to almost all of them. Plenty of other Centurions have overcrowding issues, and on top of that, the food is the same day after day. I'm looking at you, Las Vegas & Dallas. This lounge is smaller but somehow I've never had an issue getting in and finding a seat. I was just there twice this past week and both days the food was completely different. I really appreciate that! Then on top of that, the manager of the lounge walked around to greet everyone and ask them if their stay was OK. Contrast that to when I had an issue in Dallas and couldn't even get the manager to discuss things with. You can tell all of the Centurions are run differently and this one has good management. Kudos to all the staff here for making both of my visits this week pleasant. read more

The rating is a 3 when compared to other Centurion Lounges. The front desk guy on the first floor is always welcoming, as well as the second floor staff at check-in. The privacy, comfort, wifi speed, and bar staff are great. My only criticism is the main parts of the breakfast being served. It has been this way since COVID in 2020. The eggs, potatoes, and meats are very similar to those found at Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, etc. I've had to eat a lot of that from road trips for travel sports with the kiddos. However, this is the Centurion Lounge and this brekfast does NOT compare to the quality at any other Centurion Lounge I have been to. If anyone has some pull with AMEX, please reach out to them and have them revamp the main dishes at breakfast. read more

Rude. Pretentious. Judgmental. I've been to this lounge twice. The first time was okay enough. Food is adequate (not great but edible). Almost zero options if you don't eat meat. The seating is adequate again, but not great. It's clear the spent time on the interior design so points there. The second occasion I attempted to enter the lounge (in which I pay for mind you), I was greeted by a nary attitude. The lady helping me wasn't just rude though, she was dismissive, judgmental, and acted as if I didn't belong. Mind you, I've worked hard, very hard to finally have unique privileges and experiences like this. I'm a well kept, tidy individual with friendly mannerisms, I even wear glasses which usually means while people shouldn't judge me, they often do in a positive light. I don't keep all of my cards on me, because in 2022 who does that? So I attempted to access the barcode which is required to access. The AMEX app was broken, so I offered my identification and showed my AMEX app (two things I'm told is allowed as an alternative). The person in which I spoke to, didn't find any of this acceptable even though I've been told repeatedly it's policy to allow these items as an alternative to a physical card. She proceeded to insult and humiliate me in front of other members even dismissing me to help someone else right in the middle of my attempt to figure out what was happening with her. I'm not sure the didn't like the way I looked, who I love or what my preferences are but this is the only reason I could believe she'd have for her behavior. Today was a disgusting rebuke of customer experience for AMEX. This isn't just poor customer service, it's no way to treat anyone let alone a "valued member". read more

The Centurion Lounge is located in Terminal 4, so keep in mind that you will have to leave the terminal and go through TSA again if you are flying out from another terminal! It is big, and even though I was there right when it opened, there was already a line to get in! Make sure you check the hours online before going. We arrived before the lounge opened at 7AM, but we almost left because the hours on their door showed their hours started at 8AM. Additionally, the same entrance is used for access to the Escape lounge; the hours have been temporarily reduced to 5-8PM as posted on a paper flyer on the main entrance door. The hours online correctly matched these temporary hours, so rest assured trusting the information online (google, lounge buddy, priority pass, Amex site). read more

I was a bit nervous flying out of PHX during COVID but so happy to see this lounge was open & well taken care of during a trip late last year! The staff were incredibly friendly and took care of me right away. From check in to getting into the lounge, it was such a great experience. I had very little wait to get into the lounge, which was a step above the DEN lounge! The food was delicious and at the time, the staff were taking orders at your table for drinks to minimize interactions. I really appreciated that! When it comes to the bar, I can't tell you how much I love that each lounge has its own signature drinks/special menu. I love trying out special drinks each time I fly out! read more

This lounge is perfectly relaxing- across from the Escape Lounge Came to this lounge right at 7am opening. The staff is the best - especially Pam- a few of the staff were extra welcoming and chatted with me a bit. Everyone was extremely lively for the morning! Edward? And Monica? Were very fun to talk to as well- Food was above average compared to other lounges - AMEX is usually good about food. Had pumpkin flapjacks, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and grits. Flapjacks had a distinct flavor in which you could tell they weren't the standard boring normal ones. The sausage tasted like meat- and the grits came out nice and hot- lots of cheese and flavor. The eggs and potatoes were both room temperature or cold. These dishes were highly lacking flavor - and the seasoning game wasn't too impressive... just the normal salt pepper and the had some hot sauce which made the eggs more edible. Because it was so early they only had a few drinks at the bar- which makes sense for the morning. I had a mimosa which was as expected. Bathroom was small and surprisingly for a nice place- no bidets. Overall great place - would rate 4/5 because of food but staff was highly delightful that I elevated to 5/5. read more
