Very glad that this lounge was here for my long Phoenix layovers from my recent trip. Very pleased at how friendly the staff were, and the great condition the food buffet was kept in. Traveling can be stressful, so it's so nice to have a quieter place to slip into, away from the rest of the noisy/crowded airport terminals for a good meal, good drinks, and comfortable place to sit/rest. A really great AMEX perk. read more

Flew from Sacramento with my family, promised them that we will have a good time at lounge. Pam met us, nicely, ask for my Platinum card, so I gave her my card, then she asked if we have second card, my wife has a card, but didn't bring it with her, Pam was trying so hard on computer for about 10 min, asking my home address, I thought next question gonna be " what is your SSN? Then finally she said that my wife's cars is Gold, not platinum , that we can't go inside, only 3 of us can, so we sent kids, but me and my wife just sitting outside, close to restrooms, waiting on my kids, had my card for years, never been at lounge yet, thank you Pam for great experience we had this morning, waiting for my kids, next to restroom. What a customer service Pam for a Platinum holder Her name is Pam read more

The Centurion Lounge - Can't see inside, because Pam didn't let all us in - Airport Lounges Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

First visit - I have a platinum card because of investments. Food was bad! Cold dried out and very limited. I asked for sparkling water and was told to get it mysel - where would have been a nice add . I would never get a card just for this - will stick to delta where possible . Maybe I can still get something at McDonalds read more

Terrible experience, bar tender had an aggressive attitude, zero imagination and no drink menu. Food was mediocre and they had the exact same options on my Friday and Monday read more

Nice good selection of it wasn't for the bug flying around in all the food. New policy on not allowing charging to bring kids in even for a quick in and out makes platinum simply not worth the price tag anymore. After 40yrs the services jsut no longer warrant is for us. read more

This lounge is spacious and clean since it is relatively new. Bar area and hot bar are very comfortable. I have seen spaces that are more luxurious but this hits the spot when waiting for a flight. Downside is the distance from the gates with the most traffic. It is across from B22 in terminal four so allow time for transit between gates. Love these lounges! A great Amex perk!!!!!! read more

The food is decent and the staff is helpful but the place needs a thorough cleaning. There are stains all over the upholstery that need some work (or just flat out replacement). I would be embarrassed by its appearance if I were managing this lounge... read more

Service at this Centurion lounge has steadily been going down over the years. Today I arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes before they closed. I ordered a drink from the bar and the bartender seemed annoyed and told me this would be the last drink as they were doing last call. Last call?? Over an hour before closing? Well he made the drink like he couldn't get rid of me fast enough. Platinum card annual fee keeps rising, wish the service level would too! read more

This is the finest centurion lounge I have been in. Service was pleasant food was excellent hot and cold dishes and salads. It was quiet enough to work and even get a few moments of shut eye. read more

Super easy to get to at B22 and even easier to get in- show your platinum card. Unfortunately not 5 stars like Vegas but better than sitting in a crowded airport. The staff is super friendly. When you first walk in there is a lounge area. Walk around from there and you will find the seating area, bar and buffet. The food looked reasonable good but all I had was the fruit which was ok but it definitely needed to be refilled. As I am writing this the staff was refilling so they are attentive to get the buffet stocked. Everyone was friendly and will definitely be back here. read more

I've been coming here more frequently recently based on work and personal travel. I have nothing but excellent things to say about this place. I feel at home, everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive and really goes the extra mile. I'd like to give a shout out to Mehdi, who is an excellent friendly face behind the bar and Priscilla usually handling the front of the place. Really appreciate everyone at this place and I look forward to making it here a few hours in advance of my flight to get to say hi to them and work a little before my flights. The food and drinks are always excellent, it goes without saying. Really appreciative of this amex perk. read more

I visited the lounge before my Friday PHX-MIA flight. I was told there would be a wait of 10-15 minutes (until someone departed) because they were limiting seating. My wait was about 15 minutes. It's covid times and I am fine with limiting capacity. Every other seat was left empty. I have an issue with business travelers & those without children being seated together in an area with small children. There was a toddler having a rough time and fortunately one of the parents carried it outside to continue its tantrum. I was here for the end of breakfast and the start of lunch, so got to take advantage of both! Just like Miami's lounge, you queue and an employee serves you. Perfect! Both the breakfast and lunch offerings were tasty and more than enough. I only had sparkling water to drink but a gal seated near me was downing those breakfast margaritas and said they were really good! LOL. Good visit, but a VERY long walk to my flight's gate. I had to allow adequate (15+ minutes) time. read more

Alex platinum is so worthy!! I love the centurion lounge, making the layover so much tolerable. And free food and drinks! The only thing here is that because we came there on thanksgiving day, there is a waiting list unfortunately and many good tables are reserved. The wait is not bad, like 10 mins. Definite would like to recommend it read more

Compared to Las Vegas this was really bad. Withholding the unnecessary long queue outside due to the hostess telling everyone we close at 5 so if your flight is after that time you may want to choose the escape lounge, and letting the obnoxious queues inside pass. The food compared to Vegas was sub par, there were no drink glasses, the non alcoholic drink selection was water or tea, no lemonade like in Vegas. If I have a longer layover I'll try the escape lounge next time but this isn't a good start for amex centurion expansion. read more

Sky harbor is pretty awful right now. There are only 3 food choices with extremely long waits. One of them being a McDonald's. Thank goodness for the Centurion Lounge! The food was decent. (Much better than In the airport). Staff was very friendly. Extra points for Thinking my husband is my father! read more

This is such a nice lounge, with good food, service and nice people. However, wayyyyy oversubscribed. There is almost always a wait and unless you have hours to your flight good luck getting in and out of this super packed place. Everyone and their grandma must have a platinum card. Very frustrating benefit...weeks of waitlisting...not ever getting in read more

Great experience in this lounge. Good food and full bar to make the waiting for your flight stress free. If you fly several times a year the AMEX card benefits are worth the fee. read more

Disappointed by Phoenix centurion offerings. After reading the reviews of some of the other centurions with famous chefs and local fresh treats with a foodie appeal, I found the offerings here, fresh and tasty, but pedestrian. About what you would expect at a mid level restaurant. The staff was helpful and quick to replace the food. Pretty crowded. It was good, but not special. read more

I keep coming here thinking it will get better. I am finally giving up. First of all, no matter what time of day I'm here, they are always out of food. Sometimes you get a few scraps, but most of the time, there are empty serving dishes waiting to be refilled. Also, even if there was food, they're out of plates. Glassware is also hard to come by, so hold on to your glass for refills, even water glasses! The bartender is perennially grumpy. I have had the same bartender at least six times and have never seen him smile. He frequently snaps at people when they don't queue the way he wants, and this last time, he complained that he didn't have any wine glasses, so he dumped my wine in a warm drink glass. I know, first world problem, but I don't need to hear him grumpily complain under his breath about it. In addition, like other Centurions, this one is crowded. Meanwhile, across the hall, the Priority Pass lounge is empty. I'm switching to that side. read more

Two time in a row they held people back due to overcrowding. It's a long walk only to be disappointed

I had an unexpected delay from PHX to DTW and thank God for this Centurion. I had a wonderful breakfast and then the mixologists, Sarah and Monica were at the top of their craft in not only making the best drinks but were attentive and outgoing. 5/5 would happily go back. read more

I have been going to this lounge from the 1st day it opened. I visit it about 2 times a month. It's small but well done. The best part of the lounge are these 4 bartenders....Monica, Mehdi, Chris and Jazz. Cannot say enough about these humans. They are the reason people are happy and wonderful in the lounge. They have the best consistent customer service, skills, and personality. They even remember "regulars" drinks and names. Truly an experience because of these 4. They have hired a few bartenders who do lack these qualities and the visit is never quite as good with the above named bartender's absence. As long as these 4 stay in this particular Centurion, we will continue to visit. If not we go to the Escape Lounge next door. read more

Friendly attentive staff and a good sized lounge. I can definitely see how there would be long waits for food as the buffet area is tiny for the size of the airport and lounge. During my visit there were not many travelers present so I was fortunate enough to experience an efficient drink ordering process, and no wait while obtaining food. Overall, an enjoyable experience. The largest room for improvement would be expanding the buffet area. read more

The Centurion at Skyharbor was quite nice when it first opened. I hadn't been there in awhile, and must say this place has turned into a dump. Broken furniture, stained carpet and fabric, and the restroom was filthy.... And this was early in the morning! Espresso machine out of service, food was blech, and coffee was lukewarm. Really bad experience. Oh... and the woman working the front desk was aloof and crabby. This place needs a total overhaul. read more

I am very impressed with this centurion lounge! The food was fresh and hot, and unlike the DFW one, there was a lot of options! Worst service and breakfast ever. Way below expectations. Toaster didn't work, only decaf coffee, dry egg dish, no cream cheese, etc.

Really disappointed in this lounge. Asked for a light beer - they had none so switched to bourbon on rocks: the bartender touched the ice with her hands and gave me a dirty glass, bar top was dirty. Although the bourbon selections were numerous and top shelf which was a pleasant surprise. Food is buffet only and not good. Cold scrambled eggs and sausage with very limited and obviously canned fruit. Lounge itself is dated and not very comfortable. This place is absolutely incredible. The food options are amazing and the staff is friendly. You'd have to be a ridiculously-entitled snob to rate this place anything than a 5. This location is 50/50 depending on the day of the week. It's a smaller lounge, so seating is limited. I've had some of the better meals at this location. The problem is the children and families. While I'm not opposed to it, people tend to come in with families of 5+. This overcrowds the lounge and makes it inaccessible for travelers on business to have a quiet place to do work, and conduct phone calls; basically what the lounge was designed for. Since space is limited and most AMEX lounges have "Kid" rooms, it would be helpful if this smaller location offered a specific area set aside for the business traveler. This way I could make phone calls in between connections without it sounding like I'm running a day care. read more

Huge change. So much better experience. Great food great service. Managers all made an effort to make us feel welcome

Nice spot, friendly service. Clean place, nice selection of small plate food. FULL bar, and they have an escape lounge. So if you land early from your flight let's say and you are meeting up with friends and waiting for their flights to land you can use your AMX or pay to get in. read more

Consistently the worst of the centurion lounges. Out of plates, almost no food, one bartender that's refilling a keg despite a line of people at the bar. Can't get a coke unless you wait in this line. Always a line to get in. Tables constantly dirty. The craft cocktail program is one the few reasons I keep coming back, and it just continues to go downhill. Most bartenders free pour rather than measure, stir the wrong way, etc. Can't believe they're still putting Jim Meehan's name on it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the admiral's club is world's above this. Maybe when they finally restrict guests next year things will improve? read more
