    Brunch Bravas

First of all, they were able to accommodate our large 10 person party without a reservation. They were so sweet and took care of us with a very minimal wait. The restaurant is so cute. We were sat in the outdoor section which was very lovely. Okay, the food. It was such an incredible brunch! Maybe some of the best sausage biscuit and gravy I've ever had! The menu was delicious and unique. My party had a variety of dishes and there was not a single complaint. The staff is very kind and attentive. We weren't rushed nor were we waiting long for food or service. Would certainly recommend this spot!

Our first time here. Food and coffee was good. 4 stars because it wasnt anything special. Service was whatever, good enough to not piss a person off. I thought our server's lack of attention to details was disappointing (as someone who has served brunch/coffee for 3 years in my life on the Upper east side). My husbands coffee came with spills all over the saucer (pictured). Its so easy to wipe that off before serving it to the client. His attitude was also kind of whatever. He didnt say hello how are you or welcome...jumped straight to ask what we wanted to order. Checked on us once and then the coffee...he just had too much of a laid back attitude which again as someone who has experience in serving (and naturally im a hostess at heart), i would expect a little more enthusiasm. As my husband said the service was lackluster.

Ordered: Steak Sandwich (~$21): steak (cooked medium), horseradish aioli, arugula, and marinated red onion on baguette; served with French fries Aya's take: We found ourselves here for a post-hike lunch after our original location fell through. It's located right by the train station (hence the name). It has a modern feel on the inside yet has some historic elements you would imagine for a train station. The service was smooth & efficient. The Steak Sandwich actually impressed me. The steak was tender and cooked to a nice medium, the horseradish aioli tasted more like a mayo but still added a creamy texture to the sandwich, and the arugula and red onion gave it that fresh element. The French fries complimented and completed the dish well. It definitely satisfied me and kept me full for hours after!

Beautiful inside and outdoor patio such a cute spot to eat alone, on a date or with friends with string lights when the sun goes down. Negative chairs and table need to be cleaned off more often or at least without having to ask when someone asks to sit outside. Drinks super yummy, I had the wings which I asked for extra crispy and not only were they crispy they were flavorful and juicy on the inside also had the beet salad because it was so hot did not want to over do it, delicious, I don"t eat mandarin so forgot to ask for them not to be on my plate because I hate wasting food but I moved them to the side and all was good not a morsel left on my two plates. $60 with tip was decent for 1 person would say with today's economy. I have 4 stars instead of 5 because 1 the dirty tables and 2 the noise from the passing trains please bring your noise cancelling head phones or AirPods and turn volume up to max because the whole outside rumbles and is so loud you feel like your ears will explode when they blow the horns. Service decent and food/drinks great will be back to try indoor dining.

A friend of mine invited us over for the brunch and I liked the place. It was a former train station turned into a restaurant. The breakfast menu was a bit limited for my taste. We started with the coffee and it was good. ( I like strong coffee so I can add cream and sugar.) Menu on the pictures are Egg Benedict and Patatas Bravas. Both of them were really good. My favorite was the potatoes which I really enjoyed. I am not a potato person and do not like to eat potatoes. Their potatoes were so good maybe the best potatoes I ever tasted so far. Service was good but I was surprised they didn't have more regular sugar to spare.

This place is super cozy and has a really trendy vibe. The menu is a great trip across cuisines, with a penchant for Greek. The ceilings are high and the train station vibe makes it fun. To start, we had spicy feta dip, hummus, tzaziki, and olive tapenade. Each was very tasty, however, the spicy feta stole the show. I had the rainbow trout special, which was cooked perfectly and they brought out an entire fish, Greek style, minus the head. The burgers looked fantastic and was told they tasted even better than they looked. The bar is very well curated and the cocktails were really tasty. Julia was our server and made the meal extra special. Timing was perfect and relaxed. The only gripe I had was that while the chairs looked very pretty and were perfect for the style of the restaurant, for my size, 6ft, 180lbs, they became quite uncomfortable after a short period of time. Maybe a small cushion would help. I would still come back anytime, especially with the great and friendly service. Remember to tip well.

We were planning a basic quick lunch but ended eating very well. I would say, food here is actually tasty. The restaurant is super cute. Service is friendly. Nice selection of wine by the glass and creative dishes. Service is very attentive, the waitress, Adriana, explained every single item of the menu recommending the good ones to share! We ordered mainly tapa styles dishes. Pity we didn't take more photos

Nice place in an old train station. Great staff. Moroccan chicken sandwich was good but could use so more seasoning. Fries were perfect.

The buffet offered a great variety of options, including traditional Easter favorites like carved ham and lamb, prime rib along with a nice selection of sides, salads, and hot main dishes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the staff did an excellent job keeping the stations fully stocked throughout the evening. The food was delicious! One of the highlights was the dessert table, which had an impressive assortment of sweets--something for everyone to enjoy. My favorite was the chocolate peanut bombs! The presentation across the buffet was clean and inviting, making it easy to go back for seconds (or thirds!). The service was attentive. Our waitress made sure we had our drinks refilled. I will be going back for sure. Looking forward to what they will offer for Mother's day!

This might be just the taste, but nobody at our table liked them. Also - and this seems to be the specialty of the house - they were not particularly warm. We also ordered the nachos with the brisket chili. The plate was huge and the nachos were pretty good. Unfortunately, the chili was largely a rumor. Now for dinner. Oh boy. First the staff, including our waitress, brought us food for another table. We didn't realize it right away, because the other table ordered a couple of items we did. Then we did get our food. We had a couple of the brisket grilled cheeses. These were tasty, but again, with precious little meat in them, and not hot. We had a smash burger order - COLD. Two mushroom truffle burgers - also cold and one was severely undercooked. We were going to a show so we suffered with it. The fries were a hit by the way. I ordered the salt caramel gelato. I've had similar many times. This was overly salty. I was very excited to go here, but unfortunately, quality flew the coop at Birdsall.

He was very sweet, very informative, and most importantly, honest! He wasn't sure what was in one of the cocktails because the ingredients recently changed, so instead of making something up, he went out of his way to go find out exactly what was in it! This was important to me because I've been to places where the servers either told me they don't know or they don't even offer to find the ingredients. For our appetizer, we ordered wings which came on the bone. We did request only the drumsticks, which they were able to accommodate. These wings were absolutely delicious, probably top five wings that I've ever had! We also ordered the chicken egg rolls, these were good as well, the dip that came with it was super delicious! For entrees, we ordered the mac & cheese, and the rack of ribs. Holy cow both were SO GOOD! The ribs melted in your mouth! The Mac and cheese was really good as well! For dessert we ordered the devils food chocolate cake and oooo my goodness how AMAZING! We also got 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. For cocktails we ordered a Guinness and the Tropical Storm. The tropical storm drink has banana liqueur which I loved but it's very strong so make sure u like banana! Overall, I cannot wait to return to this place again! There are so many menu options and I want to try each and every one of the desserts! Lots of parking as well! Dress code: I was glad they accommodated us after a beach trip, but I felt underdressed. The nachos were great, the French dip and chicken sandwich were both very good, and honestly, the fries were some of the best I've ever had. We also tried their house-made beer, which was delicious. One thing to note is the layout of the restaurant. It's right next to (and partially within) the arcade, so it can get very loud with lots of kids running around and yelling. I can definitely see the appeal for parents -- being able to eat and have a drink while keeping an eye on their kids is a big plus.
