The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor--exactly what you want from a great burger. I also tried several appetizers and sides. The roasted Brussels sprouts were shaved and had a really nice flavor that made them stand out. The Kung Pao cauliflower was absolutely amazing with bold Kung Pao flavor that I loved. The calamari was served on top of a bed of fresh arugula, which complemented the dish beautifully. It came with a sauce on the side that I personally found a bit too sweet for my taste, so I skipped it and instead squeezed fresh lemon over the calamari and arugula--which made it perfect for me. For dessert, I had a cappuccino and tiramisu. The tiramisu was fluffy, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Service was excellent. My server's name was Spencer. He was attentive and offered great suggestions. Overall, everything was delicious and it made for a really enjoyable dining experience!

The only issue is the traffic noise, which is considerable. The inside restaurant area is your typical breakfast restaurant with booths and tables. The outside dining area features several tables on the sidewalk with that side view of the ocean and a frontal view of all that previously mentioned traffic. For my dining experience I chose the outside. The Service: My server did a great job taking my order, making sure my drinks were replenished and actually getting my somewhat unusual hot tea with steamed milk and honey correct on the first try! The Food: Besides the traffic, here's where the restaurant falls on its sword. I ordered corned beef hash topped with poached eggs a side of "crispy" home fries and buttered sour dough toast. The Good: The highlight of the meal was the "homemade" corned beef hash. I'm always hesitant to order "homemade" corn beef hash because it's often full of items it really doesn't need. However, this corned beef hash was absolutely excellent and it was clear that it was really "homemade". The sour bread toast was also done properly and was amply buttered instead of what you get at so many places which provide a dash of butter, brushed on by a butter brush. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The Bad: My poached eggs were overdone featuring not a hint of runny yolks and those "crispy" home fries that I made a point of asking for, were about as far away from crisp as you could imagine. In fact they were probably the most mushy home fries I've ever had. The Price: I must say, the price was not bad but, I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get a better breakfast anytime!

The cabbage and the sauce was good the sausage was good. I then got the goo-lash. That thing was thick with large pieces of pork and gnocchi. That was very good. Filling too. Overall, the food was good. Nothing really bad. Solid place. I'd come back.

It's definitely tiny in the market and there was a line but it was so worth it. We ended up ordering a bunch of items because we were so excited about the menu. The sweet potato was great especially with the cinnamon butter and the mac & cheese was fantastic! We chose the peanut butter pie for dessert. Both were also outstanding making another perfect visit. With our meals, sides offered include Cole slaw, hush puppies, fresh vegetables and plantains. I especially love the plantains and usually get them each time. Service remains flawless. One change we notices this year is a "service charge" of 18% its added to the bill and is a gratuity shared with the wait staff. I generally oppose service charges that are often labeled 'not a gratuity" but this is not the case here. Service is so good, it is appropriate to add to this service charge when we check out. Again, hats off to the owner/management. Maintaining excellence at the level they have been able to is not all that common from my experiences. Keep up the great work!

Upon entry, you could tell their breakfast crowd gave them a run for their money (booths needing to be bussed etc) But we were greeted promptly with kindness and the server said sit anywhere you'd like that's clean! I loved that acknowledgement. It's cozy in the small dining area. Feels like a neighborhood spot that probably has earlweekday morning regulars. The food was descent. I've had better biscuits and gravy and huevos rancheros is not my thing but it was good. My boyfriend wanted that. It was a nice experience and no complaints!
