Just left 1:15pm Sat at the bar with a friend who ordered separatly. His burger came so late he needed to get a to go box. Our food was lack luster. Order of fish and chips (waffel fries under cooked) and a mahi sandwich over priced and over cooked. Bar tender girl was too busy and disorganized. I asked for a to go cup for my soda. She brought me a stirofoam cup and said she'd have to "find a lid" which never happened Awkwardly left the check one bar stool over. Took my credit card and threw it on the register and went to the end of the bar and poured drinks for the restaurant, then asked the 4 men next to me for their order. They had been there 15-20 minutes already. When I stood up she finally rang my bill and brought it back and said "have a nice rest of the day". Honestly. Wasn't a $60 dollar lunch plus tip! Two men sat down next to me as I was leaving and I said "don't expect much for service". A guy brought out of food which also took too long. He may have been a manager. If so he was clueless as to what was happening because if he was worth his salt he would have jumped in or had another server jumped in or had another server to the busy bar area. First and last. Seems to be more of a bar than a lunch spot. Needs to hire more competent people.

Went down hill since it was Stringers. I wait until it gets sold again! Service was ok, but the menu is a Glorified McDonald's.

All oysters on happy hour are gone. Food is ok. Cheap pours on wine. Undercooked waffle fries on ban mi fries. Used to enjoy this place.

We went two days in a row during our weekend stay in town!…read moreAmbiance (5/5): Plenty of seating indoors and some outdoor as well. Classic diner set up and ability to onlook where the wait staff prepare the finishing touches to the dishes. Service (5/5): The service for this joint is very much which made my experience. The wait staff women were a delight-- sweet, friendly, and eager to help! They provided updates, refreshed our beverages, sincere when an error was made, and provided recommendations too. Food (5/5): There is so much on the menu to try! Huge portions for an affordable rate. Don't miss out on their freshly baked goods. We loved the cinnamon bun over the coffee cake but both were very good and served warm. The pulled pork benedict special was very tender and had loads of flavor. I enjoyed the corned beef but liked the benedict more. The second day, we enjoyed omelet and brioche bun French toast.

The only issue is the traffic noise, which is considerable. The inside restaurant area is your typical breakfast restaurant with booths and tables. The outside dining area features several tables on the sidewalk with that side view of the ocean and a frontal view of all that previously mentioned traffic. For my dining experience I chose the outside. The Service: My server did a great job taking my order, making sure my drinks were replenished and actually getting my somewhat unusual hot tea with steamed milk and honey correct on the first try! The Food: Besides the traffic, here's where the restaurant falls on its sword. I ordered corned beef hash topped with poached eggs a side of "crispy" home fries and buttered sour dough toast. The Good: The highlight of the meal was the "homemade" corned beef hash. I'm always hesitant to order "homemade" corn beef hash because it's often full of items it really doesn't need. However, this corned beef hash was absolutely excellent and it was clear that it was really "homemade". The sour bread toast was also done properly and was amply buttered instead of what you get at so many places which provide a dash of butter, brushed on by a butter brush. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The Bad: My poached eggs were overdone featuring not a hint of runny yolks and those "crispy" home fries that I made a point of asking for, were about as far away from crisp as you could imagine. In fact they were probably the most mushy home fries I've ever had. The Price: I must say, the price was not bad but, I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get a better breakfast anytime!

I looked at the items in the market. Nothing stood out that I had to get. We then sat down and met our waiter which I believe is also the owner. He had that like Eastern European way about him, stern, direct and right to the point. We ordered the polish plate, pierogi, and potato pancakes and goo-lash. The pancakes came first. You can tell they're homemade. Very thin. Different sizes. They were good. The owner told us to try it with sugar as that's how they do it in Poland. I tried it. It was different. I then tried the pierogi. He gave us one cheese potato, one sauerkraut and one with something else. They were also good. We then got the polish plate which came with sausage, sauerkraut with meat, stuffed cabbage and potatoes. It was ok. I thought the potatoes were eh. The cabbage and the sauce was good the sausage was good. I then got the goo-lash. That thing was thick with large pieces of pork and gnocchi. That was very good. Filling too. Overall, the food was good. Nothing really bad. Solid place. I'd come back.

All items are polish brands. It's definitely tiny in the market and there was a line but it was so worth it. We ended up ordering a bunch of items because we were so excited about the menu. We tried the kielbasa, potato pancakes, pirogies and stuffed cabbage. All of it was the comfort food I had been waiting for. Although we ordered it all to go, they had us sit in the restaurant area to wait. There were a ton of Polish beer options and it was a cozy place to eat. We will definitely be going back.

We sat at a booth which was comfortable. Service We were seated quickly and our server was personable and efficient (except for bringing me "sweetened" tea instead of the "unsweetened" tea). She visited us as needed and except for bringing us the bill, assuming we didn't want dessert, she did her job well. Food: My lovely bride ordered the pork belly dinner with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw sides. I'm not a pork belly fan but my wife loved the pork belly. The mashed potatoes were home made and the Cole slaw was nice and cold and creamy. I chose the Pick 2 Combo, choosing baby back ribs, brisket with sweet potato and mac & cheese sides. My baby back ribs were tasty although not as tender as I had hoped. My brisket was sliced a bit too thick but was pretty tender. The sweet potato was great especially with the cinnamon butter and the mac & cheese was fantastic! We chose the peanut butter pie for dessert. My bride doesn't usually like peanut butter pies but LOVED this dessert. The bottom line: Would I come back. It wasn't perfect but I'd most assuredly take another spin.

Instead, it tasted more like plain roast beef than properly smoked brisket. The baked potato was also underwhelming, as it came with cheese sauce rather than real cheese, which gave it an unusual taste. That said, the service was excellent. Both the waiter and hostess were friendly, attentive, and provided a great customer experience. Unfortunately, while the staff was outstanding, the quality of the food did not meet expectations.

Crabby's is so consistent I like to say, "The worse meal I've ever had here was excellent" Tonight was no exception. This was our second visit on this trip. On our first, we ordered grilled Tilefish and blackened Mahi Mahi. Both were outstanding. Flavorful and moist. (in my opinion , overcooked seafood is nothing more than cat food) I've never had an overcooked meal here. On this visit, I ordered whole belly clams. My wife opted for clam strips. Both were also outstanding making another perfect visit. With our meals, sides offered include Cole slaw, hush puppies, fresh vegetables and plantains. I especially love the plantains and usually get them each time. Service remains flawless. One change we notices this year is a "service charge" of 18% its added to the bill and is a gratuity shared with the wait staff. I generally oppose service charges that are often labeled 'not a gratuity" but this is not the case here. Service is so good, it is appropriate to add to this service charge when we check out. Again, hats off to the owner/management. Maintaining excellence at the level they have been able to is not all that common from my experiences. Keep up the great work!
