This restaurant is hidden in a strip mall, with outside sitting, a very friendly walkway inside the restaurant, and a large private room. It's a little dark in the restaurant. The staff are friendly and personable. The menu has an excellent variety of appetizers, soups and salads, and main course and desserts. We had the Fish Tacos, Fish Sandwich, Fish and Chips and Cobb Salad. A touch of boiled egg on the salad would make it more palatable. The meals are delicious. The waffle fries are crispy. This place is a hidden lunch gem for toddlers. Aiden was our server and went above and beyond , making sure we had a great experience and even gave my kid a high five on the way out. The service was truly amazing and next time I go back, I will request to have him again. I had the shrimp Poboy and my kids had the chicken bites with fries, kids meals. Both were very good Kids get crayons and a little stuffed animal upon arrival with the kids menu that they can color on Then the kids can run free with blocks to play with , a little Kitchen, dolls, comfortable couch with Blippi on and lots of other things The kids had a fun time and of course, not being confined to the table was a win-win for everyone I was shocked that at 12:15 on a Thursday. I came here with a very large party, maybe like 40 people. They sat us in the back room, which was perfect. There were 3 long tables and I think there were 3 servers. The service was a bit slow but understandable considering the size of our party. The food was really good and was all pretty reasonably priced (although I thought $16 for the Mahi bites was a little high - but they were goooood!). If I ordered the calamari again, I would ask them to not put the sauce on it and ask for a side of marinara. Overall I think it's safe to say that we had a great experience. I'm really looking forward to bringing my family and friends here. I'm excited to have another restaurant that is kid friendly, they will really enjoy that play area. read more

Just left 1:15pm Sat at the bar with a friend who ordered separatly. His burger came so late he needed to get a to go box. Our food was lack luster. Order of fish and chips (waffel fries under cooked) and a mahi sandwich over priced and over cooked. Bar tender girl was too busy and disorganized. I asked for a to go cup for my soda. She brought me a stirofoam cup and said she'd have to "find a lid" which never happened Awkwardly left the check one bar stool over. Took my credit card and threw it on the register and went to the end of the bar and poured drinks for the restaurant, then asked the 4 men next to me for their order. They had been there 15-20 minutes already. When I stood up she finally rang my bill and brought it back and said "have a nice rest of the day". Honestly. Wasn't a $60 dollar lunch plus tip! Two men sat down next to me as I was leaving and I said "don't expect much for service". A guy brought out of food which also took too long. He may have been a manager. If so he was clueless as to what was happening because if he was worth his salt he would have jumped in or had another server jumped in or had another server to the busy bar area. First and last. Seems to be more of a bar than a lunch spot. Needs to hire more competent people. read more

I hate to write this but I need to say this. I ordered take out yesterday. I was in the mood for some seafood and wanted fish and chips as well as calamari. The fish was not batted and the calamari was a big ball of fired glue. There was just a few fries which were cold to the touch. I wanted this to be a good review but the restaurant needs to know they need to better. I cannot recommend this place until they work themselves out of this. The only good thing was the front of the house staff but they need to work on the kitchen staff. read more

Had a really fun time here the other night, hubs and I went to watch a football game and sat at the bar. Tyson was our bartender was great, he gave awesome customer service all night and kept us laughing, my oysters were delicious and the drinks were all tasty and well balanced. Service was good. Drinks were okay. Our food was all over the place for quality. I think our problem was, we came right when they opened for "brunch". This place is a bar/restaurant. My omelette was good enough if small. My wife's buttermilk blueberry pancakes were so greasy they were fried crispy, tasting more of baking soda than blueberries. They also messed the pancakes up the first time and we were waiting for them to remake them for 20+ minutes. So, the food was not ideal. Manager was very gracious and took care of us, no complaints. I think we will try again some night when we want to come for drinks and a burger or fish and chips. read more

That was happy hour menu hubby ordered chicken Philly from reg menu small portions it was just ok can't compete with Renato or Carson's same sandwich .,it's twice the size of what u get at catch .broccoli side was warm again Carson's broccoli is great. Beer is 5$ on hh higher than anywhere we go in Stuart .. bottom line we won't be back sad cuz the place is very nice. Kids were screaming not a good experience all around. Black or white? Back to the subject at hand- The Catch: As local Stuart residents- we have a lot of dining options- The Catch, a rebranding of Stringers caught our attention a few months back. After having at least half-dozen outings to Catch, I highly recommend you give Catch a couple trips! Service- consistent and friendly, more times than not the manager will stop by your table to check on you. All the servers are great: Pierce, Destiny and Julianna, each are attentive and friendly. Food: never have we had a bad meal. Great smash burger, Philly cheese steak, calamari, meatloaf.... All great. .....and as far as "bang-for-buck" goes..... Catch won't break the bank. read more

Such a shame to loose a great, local spot but the decline of Prawnbrokers lead us to Stringers and now the Catch. At 7:30 at night only 4 groups were in the restaurant. Bartender was welcoming but waited a long time for wings and another 10 minutes for a burger with cold fries and bun. The burger was a recommended special that night. $16 for a glass of wine, very slow service for 2 items ordered at the same time and the staff sweeping and stacking glasses with no one checking why we waited so long. The manager was emptying garbage cans and cleaning the windows or I would have spoken to him directly. read more

We went for lunch and the food and service were great as always. I had the buffalo shrimp salad with iced tea, my husband had the fish tacos which were also very good. I cannot fault The Catch for their food and on other occasions the cocktails. My reason for the 3 stars is that the ladies room is missing the hook on the inside of the stall door. No woman wants to put her purse on the bathroom floor. It's disgusting. That hook has been missing for months at least. It may sound petty but IYKYK. read more

Had a relaxing night of dining Saturday night at The Catch! Pierce and Richard were very hospitable and the food was excellent. Didn't get to visit Tyson outside but he did stop by to say Hello. From the manager on down everyone was very nice and friendly, clean restaurant, ample parking and great menu. Well done Folks!! read more

Absolutely had the best time, met a group of friends to listen to the one of my favorite local singers they had performing, we had happy hour food and some cocktails! stopped in at 7:30 pm on friday night october 10th 2025 outside bar was being shut down , wakled in no hostess only 3 people at the bar , sat at the bar for 15 minutes , bar tender never looked our way from the far end of the bar , so we left and will not return , the thai place and beni hanna both packed and the catch is empty , and i know why , we were regulars at the catch , and stringers before it was the catch , but when they go under we will try the new place when it is sold . i dont see survival in a very competive stuart market if they dont get on the ball and offer better service there are a lot of places to go in stuart and the catch is not one of them read more

All oysters on happy hour are gone. Food is ok. Cheap pours on wine. Undercooked waffle fries on ban mi fries. Used to enjoy this place.

Not a good experience. Oysters listed on the website menu were not on the menu. Ordered fish and chips. Fish was a frozen filet and potatoes were also frozen waffle fries. Very little seafood on the menu, which is odd for a restaurant in this location. Previous restaurant here (Prawn Broker) was excellent. Our server was efficient and the highlight of the experience.
