Finally was able to come back and try some new menu items! We really enjoyed the potato chip nachos, we felt it could have a better presentation but it made up in taste. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches and their uniqueness. The sweet potato fries come with like a sweet honey dipping sauce which is really yummy. I also want to give a shout out to our waitress Ellie who was a good time! Definitely give this place a try, it had a lot of unique flavor combinations.

This place is great I would always go here on Father's Day with my dad. I always get the fried Mac and cheese bites. The last time I went was before my dads wake and it made me feel good so much nostalgia in this restaurant love it

Ambiance: country vibe with a horse theme. Service: Maybe it is a New York thing, but the service was just lacking. Barely smiled at us or acknowledge us. Slightly irritated with us when we did not have our order on the first time around. Didn't check on us to refill our drinks. Bathroom cleanliness: average Food: I got the firecracker burger. It was temperature hot, but it lacked flavor and there was nothing firecracker to this burger. Very mild. Many of my friends rave about this place. There are not many restaurant options in the area. I would just cook at home instead.

Stopped in for a late lunch with two other people. Food: Good portions but average food. The "Black and Tan Steak Sandwich" was extremely salty and not very flavorful. The "Firecracker Burger" was not spicy- think of it as a burger with some mild pico de gallo added. Service: little on the slow side Ambiance: equestrian/country vibe Value: on the expensive side given the quality Overall cleanliness: average Bathroom cleanliness: average

Came here for dinner with my family just to go somewhere new! It's a somewhat small but cozy restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio (tasted good), calamari for appetizer, and for entrees, we did the wild alaskan salmon, the smokehouse burger, tuscan burger and au poivre burger. Menu is pretty pub food like options, but they were all sooo good! All 4 of us loved and enjoyed our entrees. The prices are also reasonable. We had a great time. Definitely recommend if you'll be in the area.

Oh no... what happened?! Someone else must've been in the kitchen on this visit and the food wasn't nearly as well prepared as on our last visit. I'll start with the good. The pork chops were again fabulous, nicely brined, flavorful and juicy, served with beautifully fried, battered pickled jalapeno and I think peppadew peppers. The accompanying broccoli rabe, which was perfectly prepared last time around, was undersalted, underseasoned, and a touch undercooked this time -- just ok. Buttery mashed potatoes, scratch made to judge by the texture, remained delicious. The skirt steak was still impressively sized on this visit, though it came more well done (medium-well done / well done) than the medium rare we requested, and was undersalted and underseasoned this time around. The accompanying broccoli was similarly flawed, undersalted, underseasoned, and cooked a touch too hard for our family's tastes. The salmon was, in short, a bummer. We probably should've known better than to have ordered it given prior bad experiences with fish and seafood at this restaurant, but our last excellent meal here made us throw caution to the wind. The generously portioned fillet was nicely prepped with crisp, pan-fried edges, and there was a pretty pat of compound butter served atop. But unfortunately, the fish was far past peak freshness and quite fishy, just not enjoyable to eat. The bed of quinoa pilaf it came on was great in concept, with sauteed peppers, onions, and spinach in the mix -- but it was, like the other vegetables we had tonight, undersalted and underseasoned. The pilaf was also unpleasantly oily. A children's grilled cheese was impressively pan fried to a beautiful golden brown, but both the sandwich and the accompanying fries had a hint of rancid oil. Our server this time around was very pushy with drinks and cocktails, and seemed shocked when we said we typically selected our food before matching a wine to it. We'll probably give this restaurant another try or two given the convenient location. But I'll no longer be able to reference the perfectly prepared vegetables we had on our last visit as the metric for area restaurants. You're probably safe if you stick with the meat and potatoes.

Recommendation: As a professional business reviewer, I would recommend working on how you make cosmopolitans and start serving more interesting drinks, perhaps create your own drink, get those potholes fixed, expand your parking, and add decorations outside. Buffalo Shrimp were the standout starter: crispy, perfectly sauced, and the bacon-blue cheese dip was next-level. I'd come back for that alone. Fish Tacos had great texture -- flaky cod, bright cilantro-lime slaw, and a nice kick from the jalapeño avocado aioli. Farmhouse Burger was a winner. Gruyere, caramelized onions, and bacon all worked together beautifully -- rich without being greasy. Fries were crisp and hot, just how they should be. Service was friendly and quick even on a busy day, and the space has that warm, rustic charm that makes you want to linger. Overall, Farmhouse Tavern is doing it right -- thoughtful food, good energy, and solid execution. Not flawless, but absolutely worth the visit.

This was my third visit, and once again the service, food, and hospitality were top-notch. We called earlier asking if they could handle our party of 17, specifically wanting to know if they could accommodate separate checks and if we could bring our own cake. The manager couldn't have been kinder and said it was no problem at all for the separate checks, we just had to sit together by family/check. As far as the cake they normally charge a slicing fee, which is two dollars per slice, but if we ordered three or more desserts, there would be no fee! That alone set the tone for an amazing night. We sat in the back party room, and the service was incredibly efficient for such a large group. Every request was handled quickly and accurately. Food highlights: * My aunt, another avid Elite Yelper and rather tough food critic, loved everything she ordered! The calamari, her entrée, the house salad, and the cookie lava cake. * My son devoured his Buffalo Wings appetizer and kids chicken fingers (his go-to bc he has a palate of an elementary school kid). * My dad and my 100-year-old grandfather both ordered the Osso Buco and absolutely loved it. * My mom enjoyed her Madeira chicken, my husband loved his chicken burrata, and my salmon was perfect. * My picky teen got a custom classic cheeseburger exactly how she wanted it. * Desserts - the mixed berry flute and 2 molten chocolate chip cookies were a big hit! They even worked with us on the birthday cake so we didn't get charged a slicing fee. Barnwood Grill exceeded every expectation. Fantastic food, amazing service, and flawless accommodations for a big, particular crowd. We'll definitely be back! Thank You for making my grandfather's 100th birthday such a memorable celebration.
