    Bacon cheeseburger

Upon entering the establishment, we did notice that the ambience is very basic, and there is not much decor on the wall besides the back wall, which is filled to the brim with wall art. The rest of the establishment is very basic nothing on the walls, nothing very inviting. The outside of the place definitely doesn't look like it is a food establishment. It reminds me of a space that somebody would be temporarily renting. Upon entering, we were told by one of the waiters to sit wherever we'd like. The waiters were standing at the front of the establishment, and they looked more like bouncers or security. We sat down and our waiter came over and we did ask questions about the menu to which the waiter told us to scan the code on the table. We asked if they had a specific type of grapefruit beer and he had absolutely no idea about anything on the menu.. We did end up ordering a beer which he had forgotten to bring and we did have to ask about it again. When the beer finally came, it did taste good. We ordered barbecue and buffalo wings as appetizers, which come only on the bone. These wings were very delicious. For dinner we each ordered a hamburger. The blue cheese hamburger as well as a regular bacon cheeseburger. The fries are not included so you do have to order a side of fries if you are going to want that. The burgers are all made on the premise. I wasn't crazy about it and I've definitely had better. The blue cheese hamburger was enjoyable and did taste better. What I didn't like was that the french fries were brought out well before the burgers. A pro however, is that the price is very reasonable! Overall, food was good but we did expect more considering this place is known as the burger loft and the reviews were very good and high. The service was not good as the waiter wasn't familiar with the menu and it was not busy AT ALL in there and we felt like we did have to wait a while for anyone to come check on us.

Such a great addition to Nyack! Definitely our family's go-to for burgers. Burgers are delish and the fries are unbeatable.

Matt and Marris make you feel like part of their family the moment you walk in, and it is ABSOLUTELY genuine! Their passion is clear. The menu is thoughtfully curated, highlighting both creativity and quality ingredients. Every time I eat there, I find myself smiling; the concerns of the day or week float away. The care and detail in everything presented to the diner are so thoughtful. The drinks deserve just as much praise and are beautifully crafted. If you're lucky enough to visit on a night when Izzy is behind the bar, consider yourself fortunate. He's not only a "DJ" of cocktails, but warm, friendly, and fun to be around. Honestly, sitting at the bar is just as good as, if not better than, a seat in the dining room. We travel from Manhattan just to come here, and Hudson House never disappoints. It's the kind of place you find yourself returning to again and again, and recommending to everyone you know.

We all know how much Ketile One is pour the extra ounce. And when you bring the wine caraf, fill it to 5he top. As the apps came, I noticed there was no bread, so I asked for some. Someone in our party, told me there was a 4 charge for bread. I was getting a pasta dish, so I wanted it anyway. Needless to say bread never came, but it was on the bill. They removed the charge. I guess I'm just getting cheap in my old age. For 375 can't I get a decent pour and a piece of bread

After our visit, we decided to walk around town. There were a lot of restaurants open, but they mostly empty. The Breakfast & Burger Club seemed to be really busy. That being said, I figured it must be a good place to eat. We sat down at a table in the restaurant. The server came over with menus and water. We decided to share a Chicken Cobb Wrap along with a Root beer. The IBC Root beer was good. Anyway, it took a very long time for our order to come out. While we were waiting for the food, I noticed a strong smell of cooking oil. The server kept apologizing for the wait. The order finally came out. We were so starving at that point. The wrap tasted very dry, so unlike any Cobb salad. There was no avocado, no bacon etc... In addition, the fries were soggy and cold. I took a good look at the wrap and it had to be a Chicken Caesar wrap. My bf thought the same thing. There was no sense in sending it back, since we already ate some of it. We were charged for a Cobb salad wrap $17.45. However, the Caesar wrap was the same price, so we didn't bother saying anything. The male server and root beer were the restaurant's only highlights. Street parking is available.
