We stopped into The Burger Grill on Ketchum's main blvd and it was exactly what we needed after a long day exploring Sun Valley. The vibe is super casual and welcoming. I went with their 1/2 burger and wow, it was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and hit the spot. The bun was soft but held up, and the toppings were fresh. My husband and I also split an order of their wings, and they were crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor (we went with the classic buffalo and they did not disappoint). The kids devoured their meals, which had the soups. Great prices, quick service, and that relaxed atmosphere made it feel like a true local gem. We met the owner, Antonio, such a hard worker. If you are jonesin' for a straight up American burger and you are in the Ketchum area, Burger Grill is the spot! The burgers were spot on. Like take a bite and do a double take in the direction of everyone else at the table... tasty. They take care in the assembly, the produce is super fresh/crisp, the beef is cooked perfect, the American cheese is what it must be, the bun is soft but toasted where you want it, burger sauce is there (but the only item we found could use improvement)...not much more to ask for. Fries were perfectly complimentary of the burger type as well. Free refills and the coke was amazing. The employees were very kind and helpful as well. This place doesn't get the love it deserves. One of the better burgers in the area and better than any burger you get at the village for twice the cost. It's a must stop for lunch or dinner when in Sun valley and you are craving some burger in your belly. Get you some...and eat up Boise. read more

If you're just craving a burger/fries and nothing over the top, this is a good choice. I had the teriyaki burger and fries and was happy with the meal. I did feel the prices were little high for the amount of food/quality. (teriyaki / burger and fries was over $18 and the burgers do not feature any sides/fries). Two burgers, two kids meals, 1 drink and 1 side of fries was almost $56. Overall food was good, but I did not think the value/quality was worth it. read more

The Burger Grill was a cute, hole in the wall restaurant that is a nice change from all of the upscale restaurants surrounding it in Sun Valley. However, the food was average at best. I had the lobster bisque in a bread bowl, and it was okay, but not great. I loved the bread bowl, especially in the fact that they give you the top of the bread bowl that was cut out of the bread originally to dip into the bisque. The actual bisque was just not the best; it was kind of bland. My boyfriend had the fish and chips, and he definitely has had better at other places; it was also a small portion size in comparison to other grills that serve fish and chips. The service was great in terms of attitude, but they were pretty short staffed. We had to wait a while for some of our food to come out, and it was a weird system once you ordered; you have to pick out your drink (I did love the liter Mexican cokes) and then go to the register with your tray. However, some of us had to wait forever and thus our party of 6 got separated on the ticket. It was just an unorganized system, in my opinion. The ambiance was cute and comfy, though. The booths were cool and really big. This is a decent place to go if you've been out skiing all day, or just don't want to change out of your sweatpants. The prices aren't bad. Amazing food, shared the fries and it was plenty for 2. I was very excited and not at all disappointed in the lobster bisque!! Can't say enough positive things about this place. Walked in the burn off the wait time for another restaurant. The second we walked in, the staff was all over our needs. Like over the top in a good way. I didn't actually expect the food to be good. We just needed a place to drink a beer, but ended up ordering wings and the lobster bisque. The wings were JAMMIN. I like my wings unsauced and crispy. These were super crispy, hot and moist on the inside, 4 sauces on the side. The decor is fun southwestern, fireplace in the main room. For a quick burger, this place is a great option! The burger was well-cooked, the toppings tasted fresh, and the "special sauce" was delicious. I tried a sample of the lobster bisque, thought it was bomb, ordered a large and discovered that more isn't always better. After several bites, the salt amount overwhelmed the palate...needed several beers to wash it down. Chicken strips are average as are the fries. French dip was pretty good. Carne Asada taco was the least successful. The sweet potato fries were amazing...crunchy and pillowy goodness. Not much space to move around, but the chairs are comfortable. My friends and I stopped here for a mid-road trip bite. The inside is kind of a mash-up between a cozy mountain restaurant and a food court. They have cozy booths along the walls, and tables throughout the restaurant--at first it looks like a standard restaurant. But the method of ordering reminds me of a food court. You grab a tray, place your order, and then get parts of the order right away while the remaining parts are cooked. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, minus the cheese with sweet potato fries on the side. All of it was delicious! Price was about $15ish altogether. Do not get any soup in a bread bowl because it will overflow, be broken, and/or will have a massive hole in it. I got clam chowder, which then started to dry and soak into the outside of the bread bowl. This then made my entire bread bowl, mushy and cold. We went there for the first time ever after many years. Don't know why it took us so long. One of the best burgers and salads in the valley. Unpopular Opinion: one of the better burger joints in Ketchum. Looks kind of chain like and might be the reason it doesn't do as well as the other greasy burger places. So I am at a crossroads with the burger grill, the burger was very good and cooked to order which is always preferred. Now onto the bad... it was almost $12.00 for a double double without fries or a drink!!! Burger grill do you know a Double Double at In n Out burger is $3.45 cents, not $12.00??? It would have easily been $20.00 for a combo at Burger Grill and thats just way too steep and I eat out all the time. 3 Stars for being overly expensive, however, the burger was really good. read more

Easy lunch spot right off the main road. Good burgers and amazing fries! They even sell beer and wine by the glass. They have soup, salads, and sandwiches in addition to burgers, something for everyone. The one thing I wasn't happy about was the price is fairly expensive. For three people, who all got burgers, fries and waters, $40 seemed pretty steep. I recognize this is probably pretty standard in a mountain resort town though. Overall enjoyed the food. read more

After a day snowboarding we came down off the mountain for a meal. We ended up speaking with the owner. They have some pretty tasty burgers and the staff was awesome.
