The service was fast and friendly from the moment we walked in. Our food came out within about 15 minutes of ordering, which was impressive considering how busy they were. The portions were very generous, and everything was incredibly filling. Everything was cooked perfectly, from the eggs and breakfast items to the sides, and even the coffee was surprisingly good. It's not often you find a breakfast spot where both the food and coffee stand out. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place for families, larger groups, or anyone looking to enjoy breakfast without feeling cramped. Despite the steady flow of customers, the staff stayed attentive, checked in on us regularly, and kept the tables turning over quickly without making anyone feel rushed. Overall, The Kneadery offers great food, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Ketchum and looking for a hearty breakfast or brunch. read more

Ambiance is super cozy, cute, relaxed and familial. I come here about once a year and I think it takes me a year to remember why! I'm definitely here for the flash-gordon-fast and very kind service, the ease of the menue, the deco (I didn't know how much I love wooden bears!) The deco is with a lot of bears both taxidermy as as also wood engraved/sculpured. The walls are covered with vintage Sun Valley posters, Fish & bait illustrations and carved bear deco. The bar has a decorative roof with a taxidermied bobcat and skiing stuff, which makes the Kneadery even more cozy and specially unique as a venue. The loss of a star comes from the blandness of the egg scramble, even though they use high quality eggs; the weird taste of the wonderfully presented whipped butter in a cup -- I love when non-ice-cream looks like ice-cream somehow. Is that real butter? Not discernible by taste. My stomach sadly reacted to that detail. I might need a separate conversation with my stomach about this, but it stays that it tasted weird also to my husband! In past years I would order an omelette with cheese and it came with a bland plain egg omelette folded in half and stuffed with cheese. Maybe an eggadilla (Huevadilla?) would be more of a correct description. Not sure if this technique is an American classic (sorry for slamming it), but I'd recommend to add the cheese to the eggs *before* frying the mixture. The cheesy richness of the cheese enhances the eggs tenfold! My hb really enjoyed his half order of the two-two-two menu item (2 pancakes, 2 poached eggs, 2 slices of bacon), just the egg was overdone and not even a little runny. Why is it 4 stars and not 3? I really hope the cook figures out cooking eggs one of these days. In the past, I have had the breakfasts with other people, and they all loved their orders which were non-egg-related. read more

I was in town on business and had the Huevos Rancheros which are incredible as is the basic breakfast. I started my one meal a day diet on these and have lost 8 lbs in one week! I was completely satiated after each breakfast for 24 hours! Great vibe too! read more

Pleasant busy breakfast place with a large menu and good ingredients. Food came relatively quickly, portions were adequate, and good flavors. The Idahoan trout benedict was delicious. Simple but comfortable decor. read more

Beautiful outdoor patio and kind servers. I had a great lunch here! Would definitely come back

Yum!! Service was quick and the food hit the spot. Prices were reasonable. I could do without the taxidermy, which always makes things less appetizing for me but I think that's the look in general in this town. I had the crab Benedict special, which came with perfect hash browns! read more

We had breakfast at The Kneadery, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The restaurant was packed, but we never felt forgotten or like we were waiting too long. The staff kept everything moving without making us feel rushed, which is impressive in a busy breakfast spot. The menu was fantastic, especially the creative takes on Eggs Benedict. The chipotle hollandaise was next level and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Pair that with a great Bloody Mary, and it was a perfect way to start the day. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and exactly what you'd hope for in an awesome brunch spot. The awesome service in a full dining room is what really stood out. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. read more

I've never had a bad experience here before--until today. It was all about the guy who was serving and taking our order. I was here with my daughter and her family. She has dairy allergies and asked about menu items. He clearly had no idea and bluntly punted by saying you'll just have to stick with sides like bacon and quickly rushed to a table nearby to close out their bill leaving my daughter hanging mid-question. He had a sweet young lady shadowing him. I was shocked at how rude he was. After a few minutes, I went to the bar and asked two other ladies about dairy and they were very helpful. I was told all the eggs and French toast are cooked in olive oil and that many menu items are fine. When I shared this with our waiter to just let him know there are in fact good menu options, he abruptly said, "it is your risk--I'm sure they cook it in butter oil". I asked if he could check. Yes, he stormed off muttering under his breath. He came back and said it is canola oil--not dairy. He quickly took our order and tried to change his demeanor. Felt a bit forced. Today, service from the guy (not the girl), was atypical of our normal experience. The girl saved it with smiles and engagement! Service is such a huge deal in the service business. Normally this place is five star. He needs serious training and a dose of humility with a desire to learn. I was not rude. He just couldn't be wrong--even when it was clear he didn't know--and didn't care to ask. This was at 10:30 and the place was not busy. About half the tables were empty. Food was fantastic!! read more

Came for breakfast. Seated right away on a Tuesday morning at 10am. We ordered the South of the Border omelet and the Belgian waffle w/ a side of fruit. Both were amazing! Perfect portion sizes and great flavor. Nice variety to the fruit salad. The only downside was they didn't have muffins which we were looking forward to trying. Everything else was great though! read more

Kneadary is such a cozy little breakfast spot -- it honestly feels like you're eating in someone's beautifully designed home. The interior is warm and inviting, with thoughtful details that make it extra charming. We went on a busy weekend morning, and even though it was packed, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They kept things moving and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered the Sun Valley Two Two Two and shared it -- perfect portion and so satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, exactly what you want from a weekend breakfast. Definitely a place we'll keep coming back to. read more

Went here for breakfast (well, my wife's idea of breakfast is a cheeseburger. You can get breakfast or lunch here at any time. The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. The onion rings were hot and crispy. I got an egg over easy (cooked just right), the chicken apple sausage (blah - lousy, it's what kept my review from being 5 stars) and sourdough toast (also excellent). We loved the Idaho outdoors ambiance. Our server was good but not excellent. He seemed overwhelmed. read more

The food was varied and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh baked items. The service was great and the patio was peaceful.

You will see this place has high YELP scores and they are totally deserved. You can easily spend a lot of time just looking at all of the interesting pieces of decor in the Restaurant. We ordered the Crab Benedict ( on specialty), Cowboy Benedict and Mama Bear Stack of Blueberry Pancakes. The eggs were cooked to perfection and there was so much crab on the Crab Benedict. The sauce is spicy so if you do not love spicy order it on the side. The blueberry pancakes were good. They have a moderate amount of blueberries, of course I would always love more but not everyone is like me. The last important thing of note is they have large serving sizes so bring an appetite. read more

YUM!! The Kneadery is a quaint, charming restaurant serving breakfast and lunch in the heart of Ketchum. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and agreed it was some of the best we had in the area! We began with fresh coffee ($3.75 for unlimited refills), which is restaurant's special breakfast blend. It's rich, bold with a hint of chocolate. With a little cream and sugar, I enjoyed it so much I probably had about three cups. For food, we bellied up to a half order of the aptly named "Famous Kneadery Benedict" (poached eggs with sliced Canadian bacon on a grilled Thomas' English muffin, generously topped with special homemade hollandaise sauce. Served with golden hash browns & choice of toast, $11.75 [$14.75 for a full order]). The entire spread slapped - the hollandaise was delishhh! Buttery, tangy and velvety goodness that intensified the dish's overall delivery. It's no wonder why this dish is so popular! We also ordered the "Ultimate Belgian Waffle" ($10.75) with 4 slices of thick-cut bacon (+$5.50) and 2 eggs scrambled (+$2.25 each). Lord, the waffle was perfectly golden and fluffffffyyy! The bacon was fantastic! - it really was the thick, juicy kind that's actually worth a damn. I found prices to be very reasonable, considering the atmosphere of the entire town. The entire bill before the tip was only ~$41.00. For two very hungry tummies that are used to paying $80+ for a full sized meal in these parts, this is one hell of a steal. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant. The breakfast is I'll love to come to try their lunch menu! Totally recommend! read more

Clean, great food tad bit expensive with great cowboy decor. Get a reservation (yes for breakfast)

The huevos rancheros is one of the best I've ever had. Excellent service by everyone on the team.

They had free powdered sugar brownie bites at the hostess desk and OMG they were so good!!! We waited 15 mins for a party of 5 on a Saturday afternoon. Great service but they ran out of tomato bisque and it was just the best soup ever!!!! I ordered salmon and orzo with soup but I should have just got a giant pot of that soup... read more

Where do I even start? This place is a revelation. On the surface, you may think to yourselves, how good could this place possibly be? I'm here to tell you, this place is on another level. From the coffee, to the perfectly (and I mean perfect!) executed hash browns, to the Bloody Mary's depth of flavor, to the warmed up (tableside) syrup, to the fluffy eggs, to the flavorful veggie omelet, to the stunningly moist blueberry muffin, I could go on and on. What's simple, usually needs to be executed perfectly and that's what this place does in spades. The details that this place puts in comes to a visceral realization when the bills comes back and you feel like tipping 30% because you're also thinking "this...just might be highway robbery" My wife and I flew in to town for a ski week and we've already been here twice, and we'll definitely be coming back again if we get the chance ! read more

The Kneadery fits right in with the vibes of Ketchum. This restaurant feels like a cozy and quaint cabin with lots of delicious comfort food. We were in Ketchum during a wedding weekend and our large group was able to grab breakfast here after a short wait. We were seated inside of their dining area that's all made with wood and even has a big bear statue inside. When the weather is good, they've got a few outdoor tables available as well. We were greeted with great service and filled our table with delicious food. They had all sorts of breakfast and lunch items available and everything was great! They were highly accommodating to both our large party and the different dietary restrictions that people had. read more

Wow! So happy to have found this place for breakfast in town. The food: delicious! We ordered the Reuben with eggs on it, and the Steak Benedict. While the Reuben and curly fries were absolutely delicious, the steak Benedict lacked... steak. I had maybe 1.6 ounces of steak across both bennys. The service: great service. We truly enjoyed the service we received from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. One star is only deducted because one of the guys refilling our coffee mug had splashed coffee over my boyfriend's pants. Not much you can do about that, but it was a bummer. The ambiance: lively, busy, and cozy. Some people were getting ready to ski for the day, and others just wanted a good breakfast in town. read more

Awesome food, very flavorful and great atmosphere not to mention fare prices. Well worth the experience.

Drove to Ketchum for the day from Stanley, Idaho. The Kneadery was recommended and boy are we glad we took her up on it. Nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. The club sandwich and the Cobb salad was to die for. The service was great and we did notice that as soon as a table was vacated a staff person was out to clean it up right away. We would highly recommend this establishment if you are ever in the area. read more

BEST breakfast in the Valley! Wonderful ambience, great staff, incredible breakfast selection. Highly recommended! God Bless!

We ate here a couple weekends back. Food was so-so, service was not great. Very slow, hard to get coffee refills, food took quite a while to come out. My wife found a hair (not hers) on her Eggs Benedict. They did take it back and replaced it with new food (we think). Flavor was just so-so. I had French Toast crust was way too hard, so not great. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance. read more

My family of 6 came here for breakfast our first morning in Sun Valley, and we were so pleased with the food! Everything was amazing. We all ordered different things, and none of us had any complaints. They have a wide selection of both breakfast and lunch items. They even have a mimosa menu and other cocktails to choose from! My boyfriend inhaled his waffle it was so good, and my reuben sandwich with curly fries was to die for! I ordered some hot tea, and they brought out the cutest white teapot with my choice of flavoring. I also had the strawberry lemonade and I loveddddd it. My boyfriend kept stealing sips of it. The service was great, but quick. It was very packed, and they even had a sign on the table that said to keep your dining experience to around 40 minutes to make way for new customers coming in. Basically, get in, eat, and leave. Not the place to sit and converse after your meal. However, we didn't feel rushed at all, and we were there for more than 40 minutes. I definitely think their request for making your experience timely depends greatly on how fast your service was. The ambiance is cute and cozy, like a little country home. It's busy and kinda loud, but it was still great. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back! read more

Been coming here for over 3 decades and always awesome but our last visit was disappointing. Best part of our breakfast was a super friendly server, but the food was not as great as before.
