    Smoked chicken bowl
    Sarah H.

We grabbed Wrapcity on our way to drive Red Fish lake and see the scenery. It was great for just a on the go lunch! We got the chicken Cesar wrap and a bowl of the smoked chicken. Both were so good and easy to eat in the car. I did wish the bowl size was larger to fit in the food of the smoked chicken, but that's something small in the overall meal. The Cesar wrap (didn't get a pic) was light and not soggy while being refreshing and filling.

    Mayday breakfast burrito

My husband and I were heading out for our day excursion to the sawtooth mountains and the smell of bacon waft over us and suddenly breakfast sounded good to both of us. I do the intermediate fasting most mornings and my husband only has a yogurt in the mornings. Well, apparently not this morning, and hey, we are on vacation! :) Wrapcity is connected to our hotel and they were the guilty culprits of the bacon smell. We floated over there and ordered two "mayday" breakfast burritos--filled with eggs, cheese, potatoes, sour cream, salsa, and of course, bacon. Our one mistake was that we should of ordered one to share. The burrito is generous and if you're not used to eating that much in the morning, one burrito can be enough. With that being said, the burrito was delicious and it satisfied our immediate bacon craving.

Breakfast with yummy Idaho potatoes and homemade sour dough

We were staying at a hotel next door to this business. The hotel informed us that they would not be serving breakfast, but would provide us with daily coupons to this restaurant. It was so worth it and the coupons saved us a ton of money. The first day we ordered the Chicken Ranch Club wrap and the Sunny and Eggs wrap. Both were really good. The lunch wrap was so huge, we were easily able to share for lunch. The second day we ordered another Chicken Ranch Club wrap and the Turkey Club wrap. Again super tasty while eating lunch on the trail and all with fresh ingredients. The last and final day, we enjoyed two of their breakfast plates. I enjoyed the eggs/bacon/potatoes/sourdough toast while my husband enjoyed the Belgian waffle. I wish we had a Wrapcity near us but I don't know if it would be as good as this place is. Their produce tastes so fresh and we had no issues with our food being prepared properly. Overall, the kitchen staff (women making the wraps) weren't overly friendly, but the young man that helped us on the third day provided exceptional service.

The portions were very generous, and everything was incredibly filling. Everything was cooked perfectly, from the eggs and breakfast items to the sides, and even the coffee was surprisingly good. It's not often you find a breakfast spot where both the food and coffee stand out. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place for families, larger groups, or anyone looking to enjoy breakfast without feeling cramped. Despite the steady flow of customers, the staff stayed attentive, checked in on us regularly, and kept the tables turning over quickly without making anyone feel rushed. Overall, The Kneadery offers great food, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Ketchum and looking for a hearty breakfast or brunch.

Ambiance is super cozy, cute, relaxed and familial. I come here about once a year and I think it…read moretakes me a year to remember why! I'm definitely here for the flash-gordon-fast and very kind service, the ease of the menue, the deco (I didn't know how much I love wooden bears!) The deco is with a lot of bears both taxidermy as as also wood engraved/sculpured. The walls are covered with vintage Sun Valley posters, Fish & bait illustrations and carved bear deco. The bar has a decorative roof with a taxidermied bobcat and skiing stuff, which makes the Kneadery even more cozy and specially unique as a venue. The loss of a star comes from the blandness of the egg scramble, even though they use high quality eggs; the weird taste of the wonderfully presented whipped butter in a cup -- I love when non-ice-cream looks like ice-cream somehow. Is that real butter? Not discernible by taste. My stomach sadly reacted to that detail. I might need a separate conversation with my stomach about this, but it stays that it tasted weird also to my husband! In past years I would order an omelette with cheese and it came with a bland plain egg omelette folded in half and stuffed with cheese. Maybe an eggadilla (Huevadilla?) would be more of a correct description. Not sure if this technique is an American classic (sorry for slamming it), but I'd recommend to add the cheese to the eggs *before* frying the mixture. The cheesy richness of the cheese enhances the eggs tenfold! My hb really enjoyed his half order of the two-two-two menu item (2 pancakes, 2 poached eggs, 2 slices of bacon), just the egg was overdone and not even a little runny. Why is it 4 stars and not 3? I really hope the cook figures out cooking eggs one of these days. In the past, I have had the breakfasts with other people, and they all loved their orders which were non-egg-related.

There is almost always a large crowd gathered out front, which usually tells you everything you need to know--but we finally made a point to stop in for lunch on a beautiful sunny day. The Brews Since it's a public house, the beer list is extensive. I opted for their Pilsner and Lager. Both were exactly what you want on a warm afternoon: light, crisp, and incredibly refreshing. The Food We decided to put their "best in town" claims to the test, and they did not disappoint: * Fish and Chips: They advertise these as some of the best around, and I'm happy to report they aren't exaggerating. The breading was perfectly light--not greasy or heavy--and the fish itself was delicate, flaky, and cooked to perfection. * BLT with Grilled Halloumi: My wife went with this, and the addition of the halloumi was a game-changer. Served on a pretzel bun, it was a unique and delicious twist on a classic. * The Fries: You can't have a pub lunch without good fries. These are those "just right" beer pub fries--crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Easily my favorite style. Verdict The atmosphere was great, the service handled the crowd well, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back for lunch on our next trip. If you're in Ketchum, don't just drive by--give it a try.

From the mug club, it seems like this is a local staple. There's trivia on Tuesdays. TVs on the walls. Picnic tables outside, if you're so inclined. I think some pubs just order from Sysco, fry it up and serve. Five stars because they're not doing that! Their food was "pub" but the elk burger was handmade and fresh, the pot pie wasn't out of a can thought the veg maybe been frozen not fresh, and some of the store bought stuff like their pretzel seemed better than a defrosted ballpark.

Presidents Day Weekend is one of the (if not THE) busiest weekends in Sun Valley. My kids wanted to…read moreeat at their favorite restaurant in the village- Village Station. Unfortunately, there was a 1 hour 20 minute wait! We walked over to Gretchen's remembering we had a pretty good dinner there last spring. They told us they were at capacity, but to grab the couches when they became available and it was the same menu and service. It took us about 15 minutes to secure a table in the lounge, which wasn't too bad. Since I had 3 very hungry kids with me who had skied all day we were ready to order, but our waitress was nowhere in site. I asked a few other staff members if we could order and they said they'd send her over, but we waited and waited. Finally she showed up and we placed our order right away: ahi tuna nachos, tempura green beans and trout. For the amount of time we waited for our food we could have waited the hour and 20 min at Village Station. They teased us at one point by bringing out plates so we thought our food was coming, but no luck. Our waitress continued to ignore us, but i waved her over a few times and each time she told us our food would be out in a minute....and then another 20 minutes would go by. I asked if she could bring out a bread basket to at least get something in the stomachs of these hungry children (and my stomach too). She said she'd so right away, but nope. Finally after I waved down several more staff our food came out. I believe it was about 90 minutes after placing the order. The food itself was fine and I think the ahi tuna nachos were the winner. When the waitress walked by again I immediately asked for the check because had a feeling that would take another hour. At this point I nicely explained my disappointment with the meal, but she just smiled at me and walked away. And as we were walking up the bread basket we had asked for at least an hour beforehand showed up. You'd think it was freshly baked bread for the amount of time, but the bread was as hard as rocks. This entire experience was 1-2 stars, but since I've had good experiences in the past and it was a busy weekend we'll go with 3 stars, but I won't be running back there during future trips. And I'll definitely stay away during busy weekends!
