First time here, was told that the food was the best I this town. I have to say NO. I ordered a red chilaquiles order. The food came and I was so excited to try it. OMG, was a ever so disappointed. This was a surprising find on our way home. While we had free breakfast available to us at the hotel we had stayed at, we were eager to head home. Luckily hubby saw their sign on the way up. It's a breakfast and lunch place, with a good selection of Mexican dishes. On a Friday morning we were able to get a table right away, and it seemed have quite a few locals, a good sign. Coffee was very good, and our breakfast was even better. I got the Migas with scrambled eggs and hubby got the Fajita Skillet. We loved everything on our plates. A little spicy, but flavorful. Quick and very friendly service. Clean tables and restrooms. Country music playing in the background, but not so loud to over power conversation. We got our meal to go but there was plenty of space to eat inside and on the patio. The avocado toast was one of the best I've had. Very unique with the balsamic blaze and feta. It was my first time in Idaho and we'd rented a cute little cabin less than a mile from this breakfast spot. Someone mentioned Migas in another review, but it isn't Migas, it's Chilaquiles. The food was delicious, the portions were hearty, the prices are amazing! My other half devoured his food and I was ready for a nap after filling my tummy. Service was great! Everyone is super kind and friendly. Over all the Ambience is chill and relaxing when not busy. When it is, It can be overwhelming and loud but service continues to stay great! The food is to die for!!! I'd recommend to try the quesabirrias!! They are so savory especially with the cheese filled interior and shredded res meat. It's absolutely delicious. Where do I start the service was terrible. We got sat down and multiple people who got there after us got served before us while we waited for 45 minutes for our food. When we got our food the eggs were under cooked and soupy. My bacon was burned to a crisp, and my French toast was cold, dry and not flavorful, it tasted like they threw egg wash on the top no where else. Will not be coming back. read more
