Food was not as I expected it. The NY steak was ordered was medium well done and took a bit to arrived. When it finally deliver to my table, I cut a small piece and ate it. The steak was cold and informed the waiter that my steak was cold and he took it back and about five minutes later, he brought me a steak at the right temperature. I was very excited about ordering dessert. I looked online and noticed a photo of cheesecake with ice cream and strawberry sauce and told the waiter that I wanted to have that but he responded that they no longer have that. I then ordered dessert. As I was eating my one scoop of vanilla ice cream and vanilla covered with hard chocolate, I felt something thing and weird in my mouth. When I opened my mouth and pull it out, it was a long blonde hair! A freaking long hair in my dessert plate that reached my mouth. I showed everyone in my group what I had just discovered and all of them looked at it in disgust! I right away called our waiter and showed him the long blonde hair that was in my dessert and entered my mouth. A few minutes later, another lady came up with a dessert replacement and I told her that I no longer desired dessert and that I was disgusted and disappointed to have had a freaking long hair in my dessert and worse...in my MOUTH! I will never come back to this place and I understand things happens but to have my NY steak delivered cold and even worse, to find a long hair in my mouth when eating a dessert...is beyond low or poor service! I would inspect your food before eating it! Hope no one else experience what we did tonight. Note to manager-When something like that happens, you personally go to that table to apologize or to let us know what you will do so that no one else experience what I and our group did.

Made reservations the night before when we stopped in on a Friday night without reservations. Staff was friendly. Ordered the Mixed Green Salad and one of the Chef special swordfish. The chef specials change daily. When we read the menu the night before, we realized one of the dishes that caught our eye was not on there but a different and just as delicious sounding entree was available instead. Ordered the Swordfish. All the flavors were delicious and unique. The seating is cozy and it's easy to chat with neighboring tables. Perfect amount of food for us 2 gals to share

Fabulous spot for great food, great drinks and great dessert. The staff is all beyond friendly and it is just an all around great venue. Among our group we had the halibut, meatloaf and sausage pasta. Every single meal was delicious. We finished off with way too many desserts which you can see in the pics. Would highly recommend going here if you're in town. It was busy from the time we walked in until we left so would recommend a reservation.

    Lemon goat cheese cheesecake

Eliza was our server. She was OUTSTANDING. She didn't miss on one recommendation, was funny, efficient and lovely. The young hostess was lovely, didn't miss a beat when we said we didn't have a reservation -"we have one table left outside" she said, after she asked where we would like to dine. Perfection in customer service! The food was FABULOUS. We had: the Bibb lettuce salad /perfectly crisp arrayed to easily share with the most lively dressing (rosemary orange vinaigrette) the bits of bacon and gorgonzola were perfection. The Idaho trout-pink and beautiful with a citrus glaze served with horseradish mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked broccoli and squash. The "lemon noodles"-lemon fettuccine made in house with pink shrimp and a light cream sauce. We picked these dishes to share and to accompany each other and they were perfect. I would be remiss if i didn't mention the wines, which were very good by the glass! We had a Viogner and a Pinot Noir, both equally delicious. Lastly, the lemon goat cheese cheesecake-oh my. Just order it! It's kind of a cross between cheesecake and a torte and totally delectable. You will never have another like it. Thank you Ketchum Grill for a memorable last night in your city!

Affogato-the perfect ending of an excellent meal

Solid restaurant with great menu, quality of food and reasonable prices. Long established restaurant and Ketchum institution.

Not really sure what happened to this place, but it has gone downhill big time. Service sucks. The food is subpar anymore.

Absolutely the rudest service I've ever had. Would recommend eating McDonald's before dinning at this "restaurant".

Came for breakfast this morning and things are definitely different somehow. Food is still good, but coffee was weak, and the new arrangement of various stations leaves a lot to be desired; some have condiments and cream for coffee but no sugar, some have some (but not all) condiments but no coffee stuff, and the only place to get real utensils is behind the counter, but there are no spoons. There were no lap-sized napkins, only little cocktail napkins. There used to be setups rolled in cloth napkins and put in water glasses next to the iced water dispensers, but no more, you had to chase around to get everything you needed, and it was off-putting having to prepare my coffee across from the restroom. There were several errors with our order, including the addition of something we had not ordered, but we had to battle to send it back and get credit for it. There appears to have been some sort of merger with Wildflour, but it's not clear what this means to either entity. Miss the giant, easy-to-read menu up on the wall behind the counter. Waits to order are still interminable, and the magpie invasion continues unabated.

We had a shocking experience at The Covey on Valentine's Day…read more We made a reservation for 8 well in advance. The day of, they called to say they could only seat 6 and would not offer any alternative, including splitting into two tables of 4. When we said we would rather cancel to stay together as a group, we were told we would be charged $100 per person if we did not show. We came in before our reservation to try to resolve it in person and spoke with both the manager and the owner, Jesse. Instead of working toward a solution, we were met with a dismissive and hostile tone and again threatened with the $100 per person charge. At our reservation time, 6 of us showed as requested. We were then told they had given our table away because they assumed "we wouldn't have a good time and would leave a one-star review." They would not confirm whether we would still be charged. When my husband and I calmly asked for a written note confirming their system only showed a reservation for 6 so we could take it up with Resy if needed, the manager yelled at us in front of the entire restaurant, demanded we leave, and threatened to call the police. Whether this was a Resy issue or an internal mistake, the way we were treated was unacceptable. We ended up at Enoteca instead and had a wonderful meal with warm, gracious service. A much better choice.

We stayed during ski season and here are the things I was most happy with (in no particular order): * The said it was a continental breakfast so I wasn't expecting all they offered like fresh local bagels and pastries, fresh berries, cut up pineapple, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, a very high quality granola, oatmeal with all the fixings, a pancake machine, juices, coffees with syrups and milks, lots of high quality tea choices, scrabbled eggs allow and with some mix-ins sometimes cheese or veggie, hard boiled eggs, meat like bacon sausage patties or links, sometime or potato like hash brown patties or shedded hash browns, roasted veggies, and on the weekend days they offered salmon with capers and onions. Plus flavored yogurts in individual containers and whole fruit like apples, oranges, and bananas. * humidifiers in the room. The hotel is so dry. We live at elevation in Park City, UT but Ketchum is drier! We ran the humidifier on high constantly but it was so great they offered this in the room. * they have a parking garage. It is $30/day AND there are easy access free spots around the hotel, but I imagine during peak season the offered parking is best. And it's covered so your car will be snow-free! * the heated pool for year round enjoyment (and two hot tubs). The air was too cold for my liking (because you have to get out eventually). * pretty decent gym with peloton bikes. * oh and the restaurant happy hour seems to be a hit with hotel guests and locals. The one huge downside was because it's so dry and they don't have a humidifier installed for the hotel, we got static shocked every time we touched the elevator buttons or unlocking our room. And it hurt! And when you're in town, I recommend the city museum, the wolf museum, the library, and the cemetery. And if the pedestrian paths are snow-free then head down Sun Valley Road.

After he told us what time the bar and kitchen close, we quickly made our decision of what we wanted to order. When he came back he walked right past us and SAT DOWN with two other girls at a table to talk and flirt with them for about 10-15 minute. we decided to go to the bar to order becuase he was chatting away and there was no bartender. the cooks were very nice though. FINALLY he came over to us when we were standing at the bar I told him that we just wanted to order before the kitchen closed, and he awkwardly took our order. When my friend asked if they had decaf coffee, he said they "don't really have that" BOY what do you mean a hotel does not have decaf coffee?! so I ordered what I thought was a rhubarb crip pie. I thought it would be worth it, boy was I WRONG. I can handle bad service but after spending $15 damn dollars on a dessert my ice cream was old, we could taste the crystals and some was a little chewy, in case you don't know that's not how icecream sound taste. and when I looked at my "Freshly made" pie it was literally rhubarb filling with some soggy stuff on top. NOT freshly made, and I couldn't eat it, I was so sad. Also we never got an apology, so that sucked. as Gordon Ramsay would say, " apologies to your customers and shut it down." So limelight, I just want my money back or something because that was an awful experience. - Angry Customer!
