Been there twice in the last week. Got the plain burger both times and it was great! Really like the fries. Always a huge fan of free popcorn! Last time we were there, ordered the beer sampler which was fantastic. Great beer menu. Ordered a pint of beer and it was a really poor pour with a lot of head. Not the worst burger joint in the county of Westchesterans. This place has great prompt, friendly service all the way from walking through the doors of the barn house through the delicious meal. We have been here two times and each time the staff were above courteous and friendly. They have an amazing burger selection and their fries are hand cut, which I prefer. They also had a pretty good beer selection but of course, I'd like to see a better one with local craft beers. Stopped in for lunch. I wasn't really in the mood for 1/2 # burger, but ordering chicken here would be like going to McD's and getting a bbq rib. So I opt for the bacon cheeseburger and "hand cut" fries. The burger comes out with a char or caramelization on the outside making it crunchy good. The inside may have been a little overcooked to my specs. but it was not dry by any means. The bacon was crispy and fresh, not reheated from last night's dinner. The cheese was american, no great shakes. The burger is bigger than the bun, making it a little messy to eat, especially since I doused it with their chipotle mayo that you get to put on from a squeeze bottle. They also offer some sweet, honey based thing which I didn't try. The fries may or may not be "hand cut" but they are crispy and delicious. The only reason I think they might be hand cut is that some of them look like they have pieces of potato skin on them and they are all different sizes. Anyway, they are some of the best fries I've had lately. Bottom line, you can do a lot worse for a burger and fries. And if you find someplace better, let me know! read more

Not worth the money. Tasteless burgers. I had a regular burger that had a chemical after taste. My bf had the truffle burger and honestly nothing spectacular at all. I don't understand the hype about this place. The fries are greasy the fried pickles are doughy. Way, waaaay overpriced for what it was; large, bland, gamey meat patties without anything on them. Nothing special or gourmet about them. too expensive for the kind of burgers we had. First of all the buns are COLD, the burger party was not juicy at all. The whole setting was cutesy but the burgers didnt deliver on the price. Had lunch at this Burger Barn on 7/22. It was pretty empty so I was a little skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very good! Quick, friendly, helpful. The menu had some good variety. When I got my meal, it looked really good. The burger was very good. The fries were very over done, so that was disappointing. Went for lunch. Nice big barn of a restaurant. The waiter was good: knowledgeable, funny, and checked in regularly without being pushy. I had a truffle burger, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The fries were great. They have a house chipotle aioli that was fantastic and went perfectly with the fries. Excellent selection of interesting craft ales. Normally I don't get a burger when I go out, mostly because I cook a perfect burger at home, and burgers at restaurants are either blah or expensive (burger barn is on the expensive side). That said, due to the beer list and the high quality of this standard fare, I'd absolutely go back. read more

Burger Barn is the epitome of what a great, casual neighborhood restaurant should be: burgers that are perfectly ground, with meaty texture instead of mush, cooked perfectly to your degree of rare , medium or well, fantastic fries-both regular and sweet potato, great selection of on tap beers, and excellent and creative salads for those who want them. They make accommodations for those like me, who want to have a side salad and then steal fries from my husband so I don't feel totally guilty eating too many! You can make a reservation and the service is the most caring and courteous I've ever seen. We were on vacay for 17 days and ate out for every dinner in Florida at really nice restaurants. No one's service was ever as remarkably courteous. Servers always come by to check if things are to your liking and service is usually quite prompt, even when they are very busy. I was here on a Saturday night at 6:00 with my husband and 9, 4 & 2 year old children. There was a 20 minutes wait but they were able to seat us sooner in the bar area. The kids loved their mac and cheese & grilled cheese from the children's menu. The mac & cheese portion was fine for my 2 year old, but my 9 year old son was still hungry (unlike the grilled cheese, it didn't come with any side dish). My husband got a turkey burger which he said was delicious, and I got the goat cheese salad with grilled chicken (very good). Even though it was busy, our waiter was attentive, and at the end of the meal the manager stopped by the table to see how our experience was (it was our first time there). Such a good spot. The wings are tasty and super dooper consistent. The burgers are good, Blue Fig, Pretzilla and Gigs bacon burger. The Salmon salad is a GREAT asset to the menu. Went to Burger Barn last night for the first time in a long time since Covid. Sat outside because some out-of-town friends were visiting with their dogs. We had the best service, most amazing burgers, and fun social gathering I have had since Covid began. It was the first time my friend's husband had ever been to Burger Barn and he is strictly a burger pub guy. He said it was the best burger he has ever had in his life. High praises coming from this person. We had the cauliflower bites and chicken wings for appetizers. I had my go-to beloved GOAT burger cooked to perfection. One of my friends had the burger bowl, Another had the salmon orzo salad. Everything was fantastic! I went there with friends from work, about 10 of us. A few of us ordered unsweetened ice tea it was terrible it was so sweet and almost tastes like cola.When we mentioned to the waitress she argued with us that is was unsweetened ice tea and proceeded to get the manager or owner and she also argued that it indeed it was unsweetened ice tea, and I had to ask her if I can please order something different. Once you leave the booming metropolis of mount Kisco dining options are limited In the 914. After hearing that this place got a burger award I had to stop in and give the burger a try. Got the bacon cheeseburger. Cheeseburger was a bit more well done than I like it but it was juicy. Presentation was nice and the atmosphere was inviting. I sat by the bar. If I were a local I would come here to grab a beer and burger often. The blazer still has the best burger in the area, but this place is worth checking out. read more

Had the Goat burger, it's a feta cheese burger. This was the second time eating here and I don't think I will be back. The fries are great, portions are so/so, also could taste that the meat was frozen before. I am pretty hard to please when it comes to burgers, but 15 bucks for this? I've been here a few times. The food is very good and always consistent. The best burger I've ever had (I think it's called the Tex Mex) was from here. I l love sitting at their bar- it's fun and the service is good. Also, it's very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food and quantity. I recently became a vegetarian and was happy that I still had options on their menu, despite this being a burger joint. Also, my boyfriend is so particular about what he likes, and he said his burger was really good, so that alone says something. read more

Burgers are very good but execution is a huge problem. Changes to an item (add bacon, no onions etc) is almost impossible for them to get correct on take out orders. Maybe it's just my order where the error rate must be 80%. They're always "very sorry" when you call to tell them they got it wrong AGAIN so triple check you entire take-out order before you leave. read more

Not a bad place if you're going to sit down but not great for take out. With COVID we had to start taking out from here last year. We really liked the place when they first opened up so we tried to support them through the pandemic. Take out the first time resulted in cold fries. Not just drive home cold, but leaving me wondering if they actually forgot to cook them cold. Got take out again recently and it just wasn't great. The bunch of fries you usually get while eating there was more than halved. The food was mediocre at best and I'm a firm believer that online should be ever easier to get right. I'm literally typing in and clicking the items I want. Decided to switch my cheese from the standard provided on my burger. What I got when I brought it home was no cheese at all. At least they noticed I made a cheese change? I'm person not too bad. Mostly because if there are any errors you can correct them. They used to do a discount mystery beer can in a bag deal and I had a lot of fun ordering that and trying to guess what it was. Otherwise they have some kinks to iron out. Also some of the waitstaff, bartenders and hostesses seem somewhat forced into being overly polite. I completely appreciate that they are trying so hard and opening the doors for everyone, which is great, but I'd rather hold my own door than feel like the staff is being whipped in the back for not grabbing the door for me. read more
