Came here on a Saturday afternoon after apple picking! Was fairly empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately and our orders were taken. Food took about 15 min to arrive and at first it didn't look too appetizing but it definitely did hit the spot! Burgers & chicken sandwiches were cooked to our liking. randomly came here on a weekend around 5 and the place was empty! it had us nervous at first but then so many families began to pile in. the service was fast and friendly and the food was good and reasonably priced. we had the option to choose our sides and for mine I picked the truffle fries, which were okay, but they had so many options which felt nice and different from other places (esp since it's free of charge!!) the burger itself was juicy and fresh. def would come back if I was in the area - the food is also reasonably priced for a group of 4 the meal was less than $100! read more

Went for lunch this afternoon and it was so good that I had to write a review about it. There was quite a few people there on a Thursday afternoon around 1pm. The place is cute, trendy and seems to be good for all age groups. They have a $17 lunch special, drink, burger and 2 sides. I had the bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries which were nice and crispy and I paid extra for the onion rings. ;) It was the best burger I had in my life and I even tried my friend's fried pickles and they were awesome. I have eating here now 3 times and it is AWESOME! I have tried the blue cheese burger , pretzel burger , the barn burger and the sloppy poppy. Each one of these were absolutely delicious and filled with flavor! The meat was moist and not dried and it was fresh ! You could tell they keep their word with house made day of ! Some changes from the first time I was here when they first opened. I like that the fries are no longer served in a little basket and are now on a platter with the burger. My husband got the onion soup which we both enjoyed and I started with onion rings - they were delicious. The burgers were good. Wasn't thrilled our water came in tall red plastic glasses. Yummy concoctions, a bit pricey, but the kids burger is really for tiny kids. My 5 year old inhaled his, ignored the fries, and needed a second burger! Staff is great, but I've noticed families are always nervous about their kids being too loud or rowdy. It's not just me; I've checked in with a few moms while they're there. Came here for dinner. We were promptly seat which we have a nice view of the water. Our waitress was Kim. She was nice and probably new. We ordered drinks and the fried avocado burger cooked Medium with side of truffle fries. The burgers came out more on the well done side, which there was no pink meat so that was a bummer. There should have been four fried avocado slices not two..two is lame. My bf didn't get the truffle fries he ordered so we hunted down another waiter who got our order fixed. One of our favorites - we have yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu! If you love good burgers with crazy gourmet options this is the spot for you. The Cuban is a personal favorite, but definitely come on an empty stomach - this burger is the size of my head. Pretzel sticks and fried pickle apps are fantastic. Great beer selection and tasty desserts, if you ever have room to get that far! It can get busy during the dinner rush, but they have always been great about accommodating our large parties. We haven't had such a poor dining experience in a long time. The food was just ok. French fries were ice cold on all of our meals. The French onion soup had to be returned because it tasted spoiled. Waitress brought out meals one at a time. The last meal took over ten minutes to be served after we all had received our food. The rest of our party was almost done eating. And I had to ask the server If the food was ever coming. No apology for the delay from the kitchen. The server never once came to ask if our meal was okay or if we needed anything. Once finished eating, we waited 15 minutes before getting up from the table to find the waitress again to ask for the check. There were three tables in the entire restaurant for lunch. This has been our regular once-a-week-place pre-pandemic and since we've discovered take-out, still going here once a week during the pandemic. Their service is outstanding every time. Every server we've had has been incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Our usual order is the Sloppy Poppy, and the Truffle Shuffle burgers, both medium. Their burgers consistently cooked with the right done-ness and come with a nice slice of pickle. Your options, though not advertised, is a side of fries, house salad with vinaigrette, or coleslaw with the burger. I agonize over giving them 4 stars because truly, they are a solid 4.5 in my book. Here are a few minor tweaks that could make them a perfect 5: - Go lighter with the red onions in the burger and a salad. A whole slice is too much. - Fries can be more crispy. Burgers definitely outshine the fries in taste and texture. Now that we order take-out, we usually do a quick 2-minute air fry of the fries them again at home. - Vinaigrette can be bit too sour and could be thinner. It's hard to drizzle over salad. Burger Barn's interior style and down-to-earth waitstaff are befitting of the "barn" name but their burgers are far from "barn" quality. They are the quality that you'd find if you ordered a burger at an upscale ~New American~ restaurant. When I feel comfortable dining in again, I can't wait to be able to chat with the bartenders and waitstaff, and compete in Trivia Night again. TIP: Ask for the Chipotle Mayo! Took my family here for lunch after going to the flower farm and although I would love to give it 4 stars for the food I had to go with 2 due to the waitress and her very bad attitude. Once we got there we got seated at a corner dark area of the place mind you it was not packed at all only 1 table was being served in the nicer well lit area. The waitress took a very long time to ask us if we needed anything and when she finally did it was with the most disgusted look. I'm mexcian and I don't know if this was why she didn't like serving our family but she sure made the time uncomfortable she stared over a couple of times and then ignored the table. When she did bring stuff out I thanked her so did my girls and silence not a word came out of her mouth just eye rolls. Towards the end they sent another waitress to give us our bill (again the place was not full only 2 tables besides us at this point) we left and I saw her and said thank you because I was raised not to be rude and yet I got nothing. The food was good and I might give it a try again but I don't know if an almost $200 bill is worth service with a bad attitude or the uncomfortable feeling of I'm bothering the waitress. read more
