Been missing New York since we left and this place brought me back! The bagels were delicious even their vegan CC and they have Hal's seltzers and chips! The inside is decorated in a way to make you feel like you're back in NYC. Everyone there was nice and helpful. Will be coming back for sure!

Another bagel gem in NE Atlanta! Located in Downtown Chamblee, there is a small parking lot and plenty of free parking along the street. Bronx Bagel Buggy is a small establishment; they have seating and free wifi but you have to get there early. There was a consistent line of customers, and they were buzzing with online orders as well. Lots of bagels sold out quickly so if you're attached to a particular flavor, place your order online! The Nova lox sandwich was delicious. I wasn't in the mood for coffee so I had a bottle of fresh squeezed orange juice to go with it. The garlic bagel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tasted delicious. They also sell many flavors of homemade cream cheese, as well as deli staples like half sour pickles. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

Sausage, Egg, and Cheese with Scallion Cream Cheese on a Pumpernickel Everything Bagel.

We stopped by the Bronx Bagel Buggy this morning, and while some reviewers found it tight, confusing, and chaotic, I'd say those folks have clearly never set foot in a real NYC bagel shop. The buzz, the chatter, the quick pace; it's all part of the charm. The decor leans a bit gimmicky with everyone in fedoras, which honestly made me roll my eyes a bit. It's cute, but not really necessary when the food can speak for itself, and it does. The bagels are legit. Lightly crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and they've got flavors you don't often see, like pumpernickel everything, which I hadn't had in years. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on that very bagel with a bit of scallion cream cheese. The egg wasn't that spongy prefab kind, and the sausage was the real deal (you can see it in the photo, thick, flavorful, and cooked perfectly). Paired with a hot black coffee that was bold without being bitter, it was everything I needed to start my morning.

Bronx Bagel Buggy is an adorable spot to get some breakfast in Chamblee! I have been hearing about it for so long and was excited to get out there and try it. We went around 10AM on the Wednesday before the 4th of July and this place was packed! The would be my biggest con to this place as it is TINY! Like 3 2-top tables max and there is no room for sitting around inside. Once you're in there though they have a good menu! I opted for a classic bacon egg and cheese and got a bagel to go with scallion cream cheese. Overall, I enjoyed my bagels! My only complaint is that they are are defintely smaller than other local bagel joints BUT it still was delicious! If you're in the area and looking for a classic NY style bagel I think this is a great option!

You can find Bronx Bagel Buggy at 5494 Peachtree Rd Chamblee, GA 30341. It's in a row of buildings facing Peachtree Rd where Rust-n-Dust used to anchor on the corner (around the corner to the right and behind the row is Contrast Artisan Ales and around the left is Chamblee Tap and Market - both also worth visiting). Parking in this area is hit-or-miss - there's a lot of parking on the streets and in front of buildings but frankly there isn't enough so you may need to walk a bit (why I suggest you take a look at the nearby pubs nearby). I consider this one of those hidden gems you hear about but as the actual storefront is small and rather buried, need to make some effort to visit. These are classic New York style bagels, both boiled and baked so they have the perfect chew. I've now eaten there a handful of times and it's become my favorite bagel joint. The Reuben bagel sandwich is filling and delicious and any of the bagels are worthwhile if you want something lighter. Try the egg bagel if they have them for something unusual that you don't normally see in Atlanta. Service is terrific but more fast-casual or classic counter-service than something you'd find someplace fancier. Expect to find a line so better to get there earlier rather than later - also they can run out of your favorites - lots of carryout here. I'd suggest trying the online ordering option and just drop by for a pick-up.

New Yorkers would be pleased and they were as I saw several of them in there. A definite must try if you love a bagel! Bravo! No

Absolutely the best bagel I've ever had and the service is impeccable, busy and small but very quick and easy to get your food! One of the co owners Steven was there too and has exceptional custom service!!

Cute lil coffee and bagel spot in Chamblee. We got a cappuccino, iced coffee, and BLT sandwich on a Asiago jalapeño bagel. The bagel was really tasty and fresh! I would rate this place a 4/5

Best bagels in Atlanta! New York owners brought the recipe to Georgia! They've got lox, schmeres, latkes .... Delicious!

We ordered online at 9:15 am on Saturday, 2/22/25. Steven, one of the owners, was in and out of the kitchen dropping off online orders and he was so welcoming and friendly! We really appreciated it. He even went back to check on our order for us. The line wasn't as long that early. Not much seating inside, and a few tables outside. I always get a toasted everything bagel with raspberry jalapeño cream cheese. Always delicious and packed with cream cheese. Their bagels and cream cheese are just so good. I recommend ordering online to avoid the line.

This place is always consistent--fresh bagels, generous portions, and a bustling atmosphere. It's definitely on the pricey side, but the quality holds up every time I visit. The coffee is pretty good too, and just like the bagels, it's reliably the same great taste.

This hidden gem is absolutely fantastic. The shop is beautifully reminiscent of the Bronx with a friendly staff and amazing smells as soon as you walk in. 10/10 Best bagel shop in Chamblee.

Line out the door!
Joy O.

The Bronx Bagel Buggy does NOT disappoint! I initially found reviews for this place online and when arriving, the line was out the door! Even through there were a lot of people, the line moved quickly and the food came out even faster. I heard it's one of few places in the area to get a real New York style bagel and it was heavenly! I ended up ordering The Standard breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage. Food was hot and delicious! The egg was cooked to perfection and the bagel was incredible. To me, the true star was the staff! They are personable, helpful, and kind, enduring that everyone who walks through their doors feels at home and taken care of. Based on the stellar service alone, I will gladly be back but I'm looking forward to trying some more food options. Happy Eating!!

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family. They're known for hearty subs, and the Philly cheesesteak, juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a generous roll that soaked up all the flavor beautifully. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. I also tried the Pastalaya with chicken, which were flavorful with great seasoning and cooked perfectly. The variety on the menu is excellent too, everything from Italian hoagies and pasta classics to salads and soups, so there's something for everyone. Service was very friendly and efficient, and prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Would definitely recommend stopping in for a satisfying lunch or casual dinner. Their original location in Chamblee closed within the past ten years or so and they have a pretty much brand new spot literally about two doors down on Savoy Drive. Fantastic, modern restaurant facility. Unbeatable location. Top notch service. Friendly ambience that feels like home. Excellent service. And the best food you can get for the price.

Longer version: I ordered pulled pork sandwich, fries, drink and they gave me a free cookie. Tots were h-o-t and fresh. Great portion of pork on a bun and wrapped in a foil type paper. Included all 4 sauces that were packaged perfectly as to not spill. Meat was expertly seasoned, moist but not so much it made the bun a sopping mess. Met the owner Clarissa and her husband. The cook is a little slow but I'm chalking it up to a lunch time crowd. The grilled chicken salad was ordered over and over to the point that they sold out by 12:15. We'll definitely return.

It's at a very busy intersection with oddly placed entrances. But patrons make it work, and the quality keeps people coming regardless of how crazy the parking gets. I learned recently that Henri's is quite an Atlanta institution, and has been around for a loooong time. But I understand why. The service is great, regardless of location. The baristas actually like to talk to you even during the morning hustle. They are well-staffed and you can tell their employees like working there. Sharon is awesome, and the guy who mans the sandwich station is REALLY good at his job. The inside is kept clean, and it's a really calming environment for a coffee shop. Whoever designed their cafes did a great job, as the theme is consistent in their sister locations. I really have no complaints about the food. The meat is fresh. The bread is fresh. They make many of their bakery items at an HQ and locally distribute them to their sister locations. The pastry section is well-appointed and the display makes them very tempting. The Reuben with pastrami is *CHEF'S KISS*. Just make sure you get it on a more durable bread, because the sauce can get a little messy and make the sandwich soggy. I'm sad to report that they do not serve matcha here yet. But the chai latte and standard latte was delicious with a nice, thick layer of foam on top. They even have sugar-free syrup options for people looking to curb the sugar. They do have high-chairs for the babies. Love this place. They just do it right.

The parking situation is kind of weird: the lot is blocked off on one end so it's awkward going in and out. I'd recommend parking in front of the florist next door and walking over to avoid being blocked in because they get plenty of traffic. I come here for a sandwich fix primarily. Haven't had one I didn't like yet. There's a special place in my heart for the media noche though. Their fried foods aren't insanely greasy and carries the actual FLAVA other than oil. They use queso fresco in their cheese empanadas which is kind of a big deal for caribeños (even if by marriage lmao). ~ Sidenote: For the love of God, do not serve me an empanada with reg-deg bagged mozzarella... EEYUCK! Once you have that queso fresco babyyyy you cannot turn back. ~ Anywho, the chicken empanadas were kinda of tough to eat but still flavorful. I'd stick to cheese and beef. Good food reminds me that God is real because WHEW I felt blessed eating here LOL. The best in price, the best in quality, and the best in quantity... there are 10s across the board. It was a little cramped in the dining area around 4PM on a Saturday, so I got some sandwiches to go. I'd say there are about 15 tables (4-seats) max in this space, so it can fill up fast. They do have a few chairs to sit near the front door while waiting for your to-go order. The service was really great, and the women working the floor were all smiles. It took around 10 minutes from ordering to get our goods. Now to the food. Words cannot express the bliss I experienced biting into these sandwiches. We did the buy 5 get 1 free deal, which is a certified steal given the quality of the food. It came out to 25.75 after taxes and card fee -- C'MON NOW! The Capricorn in me loves a good deal. Half were the #6, the other three were the #7. The bread banged, the meats' quality and quantity were absolutely outstanding, and it was stuffed full of all the amazing veggie fixings and condiments. The seasonings are YUM with a nice hint of spice to round out the flavor. The sandwich literally had the perfect ratio of everything. And no re-heating necessary! These sandwiches were eaten over the course of two days and they didn't become hard or soggy, a testament to the quality. I have nothing else to say and I promise you the banh mi speaks for itself. I didn't try the pho this time but I'm adding it to my list!
