Stopped into Brewhouse District with Meg M and Emily C as part of best iced coffee for RI Food Fights. I've never been here! I found street parking really easily and popped in. It smelled so good. I peeped over at people's food and it looked great. The bar area looked fun too. We stayed on the cafe side and got our iced coffees. The staff were lovely and the donuts looked great. Definitely coming back!

Dropped in here for the first time a little while back and wanted to make sure I wrote about my experience- I thought this spot was great. I came for the RI Food Fights big burger blowout and I would certainly come back if I were in the area. The burgers were very good, broke our top 5 for the month (out of about 26 places- don't judge). Got the Braga Burger and the Pickleback (wife got this one so I got to try both). Both were cooked very nicely, were nice and moist- I remember wanting a little more sauce on the pickleback burger but I thought the Braga Burger was perfect. Juicy, good flavor from the chourico and the fried egg with a runny yolk tied it all together. Wish i had one as I write this. We also shared a roasted garlic hummus tray which was a very generous portion of hummus studded with diced roasted garlic. Only recommendation for improvement on this would be to use a more suitable vessel- the slate board is instagram-able but not very practical since you get hummus falling off the sides. The owner of the restaurant was very nice, personable and happy to see us in. It was a pleasure having a meal here. They are a relatively new restaurant with a tough atmosphere to describe. Its casual but not pub-like, nice but not "upscale", it was very comfortable and I think there is a seat for everyone here.

We ordered from here on GrubHub tonight and everything was delicious! The tuna melt on country white bread was huge and came with amazing homemade chips. I had the chopped BLT, also with homemade chips, and it was phenomenal especially for only $6.99. We also tried a baked potato that was a little overcooked, but the garlic knot more than made up for it. I can't believe I've never been here before but so glad I finally did, and I can't wait to visit in person!

I came here for the first time for the 2026 RI Food Fights Burger Blowout. The place wasn't so busy and it was comfortable. I decided to try their jalapeño burger with chips. I love spicy burgers, and this one hit the spot. It was tasty and had the perfect amount of spice. The waitress was super nice and made sure I was happy with my order. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, I have no regrets. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

1st Stop on the RI Food Fights Wing Challenge. Honestly wings weren't bad! Cooked perfectly, had a great crisp even though tossed in sauce which I love. The burgers lowkey slap, that Braga burger with the Chourico and fried egg was bomb. I would totally come back, juicy cooked to perfection and nice to see a normal burger and not a trendy smash one. The mozz sticks had a great cheese pull. The onion rings were okay and I definitely wouldn't get the nachos again it just seemed off (maybe the cubed chicken?) the fried cheesecake sounds good but was okay. The waitress was super kind and friendly, personable and able to provide suggestions on the menu. Breakfast seems to be the hot commodity here! Lot of cool specials. Also lot of different events each day of the week, one of the popular is wing special on Fridays. Definitely different on the inside not super upscale but not super casual if that makes sense! Definitely a place to give a shot there seems to be something for everyone!

Great place for a generous sandwich for lunch , fresh ingredients. Full bar, in case that's your thing. Friendly, casual atmosphere.

My initial visit was on a Monday night when they had all kinds of cheese specials for $10. Including a delicious cheese pizza. However on my second trip I discovered the real value was on their Sunday specials where you get a soup or salad, 1/2 portion of lasagna, a choice of chicken entree and a special pasta. All for $29. Needless to say there were doggie bags coming home with us. Dani our server was a sheer delight and most punctual with her attention to us. Needless to say I will be returning for a third visit soon!

Unfortunately, that's where things started going downhill. It took 30 minutes before anyone even took our drink orders. During that time we weren't offered water, bread, or asked if we had any questions. Drinks, which were just water and soft drinks, took another 15 minutes to arrive. Around 8:45 our server finally came to take our food order and told us the kitchen had asked her to wait before putting it in. By that point, one person in our group had already left to get Wendy's because he was tired of waiting. Once we finally ordered, there were still no drink refills. We asked for waters for the table and were brought five glasses with, "I have five waters, who wants one?" We had 17 people. It was just kind of unbelievable. Our food didn't come out until almost two hours after we arrived. By then everyone was hungry and thirsty. There were two kids in our group, and it would have been nice if their meals had at least come out earlier. Or bring us bread or something to hold us over. We also had to ask for salt and pepper because there wasn't any on the table. They brought one set for all 17 of us. We asked for another and eventually got one more set. I understand large parties can be challenging, but if the restaurant can't handle a reservation that size, it probably shouldn't accept it. The one positive was our server. She was very nice and seemed to be doing the best she could. I really wish I could say the food made up for the wait, but it was just average. Nothing was bad, but nothing was memorable either. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience.

The bartender served everyone but myself, despite eye contact or a friendly wave. Called last call. Not welcoming at all. Apparently, the business is so good they can pick and choose who to serve. Or the bar tender is allergic to money?

We walked in just after 8 on a Friday night and were greeted by two very friendly young women at the host stand. We opted to sit at a high top table in the lively bar area. Every seat at the bar was taken. Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought our drinks, $8 for a Sam Adams seasonal draft, and $15 for a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail (which was mixed well and nicely presented, sans the anticipated Luxardo cherry). My friend ordered the Fondue Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and smothered with a delicious cheese sauce sprinkled with fresh bacon crumbles - decadent and delicious. The fries are thin and crispy (the best way) and served in one of those cute little metal baskets with just the right amount of truffle. I had the salmon rice bowl which was better than I expected it to be. The fish was fresh and cooked nicely, (medium, although it could have been taken off heat a minute or two earlier, but not what I consider 'overcooked' by any means), and sat atop some very delicious coconut jasmine rice. The bowl also had a heap of zingy red onions, thinly sliced perfectly ripe avocado, a yummy mango salsa, and was drizzled with a very nice cilantro crema. Perfection. I ate the whole thing, felt a bit overstuffed and unable to taste the burger (next time!) I am very happy to report that Pine House Kitchen & Bar got four thumbs up from us, and I look forward to visiting again with family and friends.

The parking lot was packed, but it wasn't very busy inside. It was a lot smaller than I thought. There was a dining room room to the right when you walked in with a few table tables, and then a larger bar area with tables around that. We were seated in the bar area. Inside was really nice. I really liked all of the wood finish inside and how it was decorated. I had the crispy coop, which was a fried chicken sandwich dipped in hot wings sauce with Gorgonzola and coleslaw. The chicken was really good, very tender. It had just enough spice. I ordered truffle fries on the side and they were unbelievably good! I ordered a special winter cocktail with tequila and apple cider that was really good. It was a decent size drink too for the price. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was really good. She ordered plain fries as all of the meals come with herb fries automatically. My friend had a burger and actually complained because it was too salty. They were kind enough to take half off of her meal. Our waiter was excellent. He was super attentive and we were never without a drink. We will definitely be going back here and trying other stuff.

If you like thick clam chowder, this is it. For meals we opted to split the honey, hot chicken sandwich and a buffalo chicken pizza. Not gonna lie, the bowl of chowder was pretty big, and I was pretty full by the time I was done with it. The honey hot chicken sandwich is more like a honey mustard chicken. It was still pretty good, but if you are expecting hot honey, this is not it. I opted to have the blue cheese on the side with the pizza, because my husband doesn't like blue cheese. The buffalo chicken pizza was actually really delicious. It was like a bar pizza that you would get from the south shore. You really can't find this pizza in Rhode Island or in Southern MA, so this was a great find. Staff were friendly and attentive. I didn't get any alcoholic drinks cause it was pretty early and not much of a day drinker, but it had a really good vibe and I'm sure it's a lot of fun at night. The drink menu looked really good so I'll likely come back for drinks and apps. There's a cute outdoor seating area. It was pretty hot so we sat inside, but I'm sure this is a great place to sit at night time once the sun goes down and it cools off.
