The first time I…read morecalled, Kristy was so nice to be able to squeeze me in last minute..for my first ever Brazilian ever.. Like the reviews said, which is why I came, it was quick, not totally painless cause it is my first time, but she did a fantastic job. She used to be at quincy center, at the back of the skincare studio, but have moved to Braintree on the 2nd floor in the 1604 Salon & Spa. Just take the stairs right when you walk in to the left. Very comfortable room where they do the waxing- very clean. You can actually pay in card and tip as well which is very very convenient for me! Unfortunately, Braintree was a bit hard to for me to get to, but if you have a car or live in Braintree it's quite easy to get around. There's always some sort of parking behind the house.

I expected to be writing a review based on services but nope. Instead, the lack of service I…read morereceived was very disappointing. I made an initial appointment by phone for about a week out. The representative understood what I was interested in (facial) and booked me. When I arrived the next week (15 minutes early) the receptionist told me "You don't have an appointment." I was completely taken aback, as I had made the appointment with a live person, had a little conversation at the time, and even confirmed the building they're located in. The receptionist did ask if I wanted to book an appointment at a later date, but I didn't, as I didn't have a warm, fuzzy feeling about *this* mistake. As the receptionist was very clear by her manner that this was *my* mistake, not their's, I declined a future appointment. Since there was nothing I could do, I left. I did return a minute later to doublecheck if the time was scheduled on a future day, just to be sure I didn't hold up someone's schedule, but nope, no appointment for me. Which was especially weird when the receptionist said, "I see you in our system, but no appointments are scheduled." Really? And how would I randomly get into your system, if I didn't schedule an appointment? Somewhat disappointing, but I figure everything happens for a reason! Caveat emptor.

It was hard to find, but the interactive online map of the mall helped a lot. I finally found it, but the inside looked a little different than I had remembered it. There isn't a little waiting lounge anymore; instead, I was instantly greeted by someone. They asked me for a name/number but we realized I was not in their system. I created an "account" and then she also did my eyebrows. I did not have an appointment, they were able to accommodate a walk in. I like that eyebrows are plucked here, instead of threaded or waxed - seemed like less of a risk to make a big mistake. It did not hurt at all and I was very comfortable throughout it all since its in a reclining chair. After about 10 minutes, the service was complete. I paid $28 at their front desk, and was on my way. It is on the expensive side, but I think for the quality of work, it is worth it. I also find that the hair grows back slower which can be good if you don't want to pay so frequently. The salon was very clean, very quiet which fostered a relaxing environment, and they offer a lot more services.

I will not be going back. I feel if you are a customer getting a service .. brows done , you should be able to earn points. I have been twice and got two different artists. Awful awful awful, do not go here! I never usually complain…read moreor leave bad reviews, especially for small businesses but I dont want others to experience this. The esthetician used st. ives apricot scrub on my skin. A $120 facial and you're using bottom of the barrel, discount, irritating products. There are so many blogs showing you should not use this. I was so mad when I got up and saw that being used. The lights were flicked on/off the whole time. Pop music played instead of spa music. The table was very small/narrow and uncomfortable. There was no facial massage of any kind, more so cleanse, then put under a series of machines. Just sitting there under it. Cheap paper face mask left on. Then comes to extractions: she over picked my face and now I have a scab that will scar. The facial itself was not relaxing or any attention to detail. Just face washed with st.ives, too many extractions, then a drying light therapy (even though I said my skin is sensitive and dry). Then at the end, the employee didn't know how to use the square machine so I had to venmo. I asked for a refund and was told I could come in for another appointment for free. I do not want to come in, I was uncomfortable and the products used were cheap and damaging. I was trying to be very civil and polite when asking for a refund but I am being dismissed so I warned I would write a negative public review. I have not had any other services here, only the Raina facial. I understand people make mistakes but the cheap products and lack of care has driven me here. Hope this helps.

I found the one station by the door, later I noticed perhaps there was more. Picked my color from the sparse selection I randomly found and awkwardly stood there. The owner screamed sit down at a pedicure chairs as if I knew I was supposed to sit down. I sat down and proceeded to wait. Dum de dum wait and wait apparently I was to read minds and know there was a wait. Finally one of the two ladies started on my pedicure. I "upgraded" for $5 for special treatment callous. It was just the use of the cheese grater on your callous which is free with any other place and wax on the heals that they only left on for 1 minute made no difference. I mean I guess if I was in a pinch, I would go back but not willingly - just if I had no choice, like I did today, no choice I am going on vacation and I needed it done while the kids went shopping. The person working in my nails was nice, I guess, said less than 10 words to me - thanks for waiting, thank you, ok bye. Was not rude at all but never looked up or even smiled just sat down and grabbed my foot and started working.

I haven't been to South Shore Plaza Mall in Braintree, MA for about 8 years and today I had the chance to go and check it out. There were a lot of stores that I was unfamiliar with that I've never heard of before, but when I seen a store with Bees I knew right than and there I was highly interested. The stores that are my ultimate favorites are all stores that use all natural ingredients in their products with no harsh chemicals and toxins. I have allergies to sulfur and PEGs along with other ingredients that are considered harsh chemicals and toxins that factories put in their food and in their merchandise. I have to be vigilant to what I eat and use on my body. I have to read all the directions, the ingredients and ask the sales associates some much needed information and questions before I purchase anything. I walked into Ivyees Everything Honey for the first time and a sales associate named Zuleica welcomed me with a smile and showed me around to the different products that they sell. She was explaining and educating me on what ingredients are in them. They have a variety of products made from honey such as but not limited to deodorants, teas, toothpastes, facial lotions, serums, bath gels, soaps, shampoos and conditioners, The owner of the store Ivy Lawson walked in to further assist me with additional questions that I had about her products she advised me that all her products are made from free flying bees. Ivy and her associate Zuleica were helpful, professional, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and welcoming they made my visit, shopping experience and my day all that much better and brighter. I left Ivyees with a huge smile on my face, Jasmine Gardenia deodorant which smells and feels amazing, Honey and Miswak toothpaste which tastes so good that I can just eat it and the wonderful pleasure of meeting some extremely amazing people at Ivyees Everything Honey. Thank you.... Ivyees, I'll Bee seeing you again soon :) https://www.ivyees.com/
