I can see why this salon chain has closed many of its doors over the past couple of years. The sign outside the salon says Walk Ins Welcomed. I walked in yesterday a lil after 12 pm and was dismissed by the receptionist saying sorry honey the next appt isn't until 3 pm. She did not offer to take down my number in case there was an opening. She simply sent me on my way. She did not offer me the appt at 3 pm. BAD business practices. read more

He is trained and specializes in hair that no one else knows how to deal with. I think my hair is considered 3B-C (I came up before we designated but I'll note it for the review, so you get an idea). I am thrilled by his attention my hairs needs and design. He started with a dry cut and then colored out my gray with a toned black color that was natural, healthy, and gave me back 15 years! I am half Black/Korean and will be 60 this year and don't look over 40 now! I had gone to him for 2 trims and blowouts (superb BTW - doesn't even burn your scalp) and decided to let him take the wheel!! I rarely ever go to a salon to get my hair done, so I was nervous about trying somewhere totally new to me, but Benny made it so worth it! Not only did she do a great job with my balayage, she was super fun and easy to talk to. It put me at ease and made me feel like I was just with a friend. I definitely will be going back for touch ups and other treatments with her. Note: My 4 stars is for the cleanliness of the salon. I couldn't be more happy with my hair. I made an appointment with Kevin after having a consultation with him and we decided on the hair I wanted. When I came back to get my hair done I threw a few curveballs at him as far as the way I wanted my hair and he handled it with grace and ease. He checked in with me a few times to make sure we were on the same page and I was happy with my hair which was comforting. Took my chances as a walk in today, was greeted by a lovely front desk person with cool purple hair and luckily, JP had a cancelation. Score! I walked in looking like I've been living in a tent for 3 years courtesy of my sister wife length, dead, hay like hair stuck up on my head in a very non stylish and literal messy bun. Came into this salon with extremely low expectations because let's face it Mall Salons don't have the greatest reputations. But I was desperately looking for a place to cut my hair in time for a wedding I was attending. Going into the salon, I was told that women's hair cuts are $45. So the price was good considering I wasn't expecting photo shoot worthy hair. I was able to make a same day appointment and was seen less than 15 min after I made the appointment. Now here is what amazed me. Jenny is an amazing master stylist!! She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, beautiful medium length layers. I know it may not seem like a huge request but after the experiences I've had with master stylist in the past , she was spot on. My hair left with beautiful body waves and felt soo healthy. Now the length of my hair was unexpected so my cut turned out to be $50 but Jenny was worth it. My hair is flourishing even two weeks after my cut. What used to be frizzy and dead waves are not luscious full body waves( almost a full curl). I loved Jenny and I would recommend those with naturally wavy hair or straight hair. I had my hair done there today, and she did such a great job. My hair was waist length, and had been for a long time, but I was looking v for something a little different. I also told my hairdresser that I needed my bangs to stay long enough to pull back, as I am a nurse, and need the hair out of my way. She had me show her what length I wanted, and she spent so much time (and hard work!) into my hair. It is still longish, with hair out of my eyes, and some beautiful bounce / slight curl at the end. Lee is amazing! She takes my ridiculously curly and tangled hair and I walk out feeling like Beyoncé! Never once had an awful experience here! Also Lee is perfect for ladies with ethnic and kinky hair like mine! She even did highlights in my hair that came out amazing without even bleaching it! I have dark brown hair and she didn't need to bleach it to get the color in! Also I have a slight phobia of being burned by flat irons because I've been burned many times before...I am typing this review without flinching or being worried as Lee is doing my hair now! Had the absolute worst experience. Ive been growing my hair out for the past 6 months so I could try out some longer hair style. I spent the last 2 weeks looking at hairs styles before committing what would look good with my type of hair etc. I finally decided and made the decision I was going to go somewhere a little pricier to ensure I got taken care of and the stylist would have some more experience and know what they're doing. Only if you have straight hair and need a blow out. Dropped my granddaughter there and she had curly hair and need a blow out and straighten. The guy that did it did not comb it out first. If I were a hair stylist I would have recommended a trim on the ends. It came out pretty good though but it kept getting tangled during the blow out. read more

These people have no sense of time. They give an appointment with a stylist and the stylist never shows up. You end up getting your work done with an assistant. Make sure you keep your rest of the day clear if you plan to visit this saloon. And what do I tell about the receptionist. Received the worst and most EXPENSIVE hair color experience in my entire life. Was booked for a Deva cut and ONE COLOR PROCESS. All I wanted was my gray hair to be touched up. JP dyed my entire head dark brown. I walked in with light brown hair and highlights. He didn't even ask me or try to match my color. I screamed a little when I saw my hair in the mirror. I couldn't believe what he had done. This was on top of the harshest, roughest shampoo I've ever experienced. Threw my head around like a football. Fingers in my ears, water squirted directly in my ears. I'm fairly certain he used a bottle of shampoo since I had lather all over my hair and face. Washed my hair twice but did not use any conditioner. Also did not use toner. My hair is nearly black with highlights that look fake. Oh, and the place was disgusting. He had me sit in a wet chair with dirty water from the last person he washed. His station was covered in hair. Horrible Horrible experience that I paid $400 yes $400! All I wanted was my grey covered! Now I have to go have the color corrected. I want a refund. No one should experience what I went through today. read more

I was in a pinch this morning to get to a salon for a wash and blowout so I decided to come here because it was close. I called and scheduled an 11:30 AM appointment and was seen by 11:40. The stylist I had was very professional and personable and I am very pleased with the way my hair came out. The salon was clean and well maintained. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the price. I paid $48 for just a wash and blow dry. I found that to be a little steep since my usual stylist at the salon that I've been going to for years will give me both a haircut plus a blowout for under $40. So minus one star for the price tag but I definitely will keep this place on my list of salons to go to for times when my usual stylist is not available to me. Very disappointing. I booked my appointment many weeks ago. It was going to be my first time and so I was not sure who the stylist should be. I did not care. They have a cancellation policy and they will charge my card if I cancel too close to the appointment. After multiple confirmations via email phone etc I get a call 2 hours before my appointment saying that the stylist (that i don't know) is not there and they cannot assign me to another stylist on the same day and that I should come back another day or on Monday. I work so I could not. But what was soo soo surprising was that there was not apology. No "sorry you stylist is not there"- just a rude "your stylist is not there. I cannot accommodate you today. I can do tomorrow". They would have charged my credit card had I done this. Going by that, they should have offered a discount on the next appointment. I called, spoke with the receptionist, told her I had long hair and I wanted to get a trim and layers. I also shared with her that I wanted an experienced stylist and I didn't want someone who was scissor happy. She said she would take care of it and set me up with Colette. Colette had 9 years experience and I thought I was in good hands. I told her I only wanted a half inch cut off the ends, long layers and crown long layers (it helps my curls to pop) oh yes, did I mention I also have curly wavy hair! I told Colette that and I also told her I like to wash, add product, walk out the door and therefore I don't spend to much time on my hair. She started cutting and I said to her, you are cutting too much!! She says, no I'm cutting the layers not the length. The second she finished I said, this is too short. She chopped off my length and cut the layers so blunt that it looks like I have several different cuts. I WOULD NOT LET ANYONE IN THIS ENTIRE SALON TOUCH YOUR HAIR!!! I went here twice for haircuts. First time, I saw a Russian man and asked for "Jennifer Aniston's bob". It came out very nice. Overall I was happy with my experience. The second time I went in was not that great of an experience. I saw Mila. From the second I went in and got my hair washed until the minute I left her chair, she just bombarded me with insults. My skin was slightly breaking out at the time- out of whack hormones that week- and I wasn't wearing makeup. She set my head back to be washed and immediately asked me if I've tried facials, or microderm abrasion for my skin, because it would help. I was mortified and embarrassed... The whole haircut continued on with her basically attacking me. My hair of course is "too damaged" (she told me over and over and over- my hair isn't bad at all, just dry at the ends around my face), the shampoo I use is "No Good" (Biolage?!) and she'll "show me what to use", my hair is "too dark, I need to schedule an appointment for highlights"- it just went on and on. As far as the haircut goes, I asked her for layers, and pointed out the stylist behind me who clearly had lots of layers and she said, "That's no good for you, we're going to cut it like this". I walked away with pretty much a blunt cut trim and a bang trim. I couldn't take one more insult after about 20 minutes of this, and on top of it wasn't getting a proper haircut.
