Great spot for breakfast. I could not eat the whole order of biscuits and gravy. Even though it was delicious

Amazing food. Their corned beef hash was probably the best I've had. And their grits tasted unbelievable. I never knew that grits couple taste so fresh and delicious. My daughter got their bonut, and while not my kind of thing, she enjoyed it. Service was Good. You can check out their menu online. read more

Great service! Hannah took good care of us Food is delicious Biscuits and gravy excellent French toast is fantastic read more

Good food with big portions. Relatively inexpensive menu. Shay was a good waitress.

I wish someone would have warned me. Tried the Ranchero Steak omelette for $13.95. this tiny thing had 5 small beef jerky looking beef pieces strewn atop an unappetizing omelette. add the $3.25 cup of coffee. The coffee was excellent but I live in Missouri so rhat price dont sit well with me. total was $18 and change.Service was excellent. I wont be returning here. read more

Good food at a reasonable price. I have eaten here several times, and never have been disappointed.

I've lived by the independence location for many years never stopped in until Recently got to say it was the best breakfast I've had in forever and the service was pretty darn awesome as well. read more

Service and food was good. Had the New Orleans Oatmeal with a biscuit. Got there real early so no crowd as many mention. Good size place sure if had gone later it might be hard to get in right away. Front of the house was very clean. read more

Very busy place, quite a wait, and we felt kinda crowded in here, but that is the one and only complaint you will hear from us. Everything else was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive, the food was great, and were very large portions, and the price was very reasonable. I'm positive we'll be back again, I just hope it's a day when it's far less crowded. read more

Way over priced.super salty breakfast potatoes. Wife omelette was under cooked. Never again.only good thing excellent service.

Wonderful service and the food was perfect. Very short wait time and we were able to safely wait in our car with a text when our table was ready. read more

Looking for a GOOD Springfield breakfast? Skip this place and go to Gailey's. Want a GOOD overpriced Springfield breakfast? Skip this place and go to First Watch or The Aviary. The Big Biscuit was a TOTAL disappointment. The service was mediocre. The food was mediocre. And, the price was exorbitant. At least First Watch and The Aviary make you feel like you're getting something special when they charge you forty bucks for two people. This place gives you pizza sausage in their omelets, powdered gravy mix, and clear whites in over-medium eggs. Then, has the nerve to charge gourmet prices. Nope. We won't be back. read more

The waiter miscommunicated with us and we end up getting two sides we never asked for. I've never fleeced so bad in a restaurant.

My mom and I went to this place for breakfast and it was so delicious! I got chocolate chip pancakes which were so fluffy! The interior was very homey and it was a fabulous experience, I will be visiting again! read more

OMG OMG OMG. Did I say OMG!! This place has the best breakfast ever. The biscuits are not only Humongous, but their delicious. I could have eaten two. We also ordered a bowl of sausage gravy and eggs and Hashbrowns. The biscuits were the star. read more

We had the best waiter we've seen in Springfield in years. Micah, was perfectly balanced between being helpful and available, yet not hovering. He read the needs of the table at a glance, was friendly and perceptive. Oh, and the food is delicious as always. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience. read more

Had coffee and 2 egg breakfast-2 eggs 2 small patty sausages a small scoop of hash browns and a biscuit. Was asked if I wanted gravy on it and said sure. The bill was over $16.. + tip. Food was just ok and portions small. but price was ridiculous. Won't be back. I can go to Denny's or village inn or ziggys and eat two times read more

Eat Here! Cool place with a great modern rustic feel. The name is fitting except they left off delicious. The biscuits were fabulous along with everything else. Plus service was pronto and spot on! Thanks Tianna for recommending this place! read more

Our second visit was delayed by my impatience with crowds when we tried to visit.. Made it Sunday the 2nd.. Our experience was as enjoyable as the first time we visited. The food was great, if a bit too much for we older folk. The service is really good. Being a new place, the servers are still learning but, are very helpful. On both visits we spoke with the manager who gave us information on how to order smaller portions to fit our appetite needs. I can find nothing to complain about and as its close to where we live, we will be back often. read more

I was looking forward to trying a new breakfast spot and this is not it. I called to place an order for pick-up. When I got to the restaurant I expected to be a little patient as they were significantly busy. I picked up my food and headed back home to eat before heading to a 12 hour shift at work. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant and so I was more than annoyed when I got home and realized half of my order was missing. I called the restaurant to talk to the manager and while they tried to be "apologetic", their result was to send me a few free meal coupons in the mail. A month later and I have yet to receive any sort of coupon in the mail. Do NOT bother with this restaurant. The food that I was able to try is not worth the high prices and the staff are incompetent about how to treat customers. read more

Have to wait outside for a table which is fine if you like standing in a hot parking lot, the food is generic, the gravy is from a mix and the biscuits are dry. No idea what people see in this place. More expensive than most breakfast chains for no reason. Staff were nice though. read more

Fantastic! We have heard a lot about them and were impatiently waiting for them to open. I had the full biscuits & gravy with breakfast potatoes. Delicious. The SO had the yard bird and that chicken is ridiculous! Can't wait to go back. 2nd location should be open in a few months! The staff was super friendly and attentive. read more

Service was great. Food was ok. They forgot something to be added but fixed it quickly. My omelette was cool but still edible. Coffee was ok. Sat at counter heard all conversation from the staff about complaints about patrons the tips they get and what they did last night. Biscuit was big but honestly I have had better. Needed a little longer cook. read more

My wife and I were in town from California on vacation and we stopped at Big Biscuit on our second day. This place is incredible. Everything is made from scratch and the service is top notch and very friendly. read more

Ok so it was good and the service was excellent. That being said...the big biscuits were basically Hardee's biscuits only bigger. I got the full order of biscuit and gravy which came with hash browns. The food arrived quickly and it was hot. They put the gravy on the side for me and it was a sausage milk gravy that tasted like Hardee's again but very good and I couldn't finish the other biscuit so maybe next time I will get the half order. Good value for the money and the wait staff were attentive and good. Mini-me had the French toast which was also really good. Highly recommend this place. We shall return! read more

I loved the haystack meal! The staff was sooo friendly. I did have to eat outside because I was freezing inside but the food made up for it. The big biscuit really is huge and delicious. read more

Favorite stop after church services they give a lot of food so my husband and I usually split a plate.

This place was fantastic! Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. I had the Country Benedict. They have their giant biscuits with gravy they actually made. Sausage is cooked crispy and thin like a steak burger. Home fries were fresh and tasty. The people I was with had the cinnamon roll pancake. Crispy with amazing flavor. They were good for kids with the placemats to keep them busy. Place was clean. Help was very friendly and attentive. read more

The food was GREAT! We really enjoyed the yard bird, the chicken was fresh an juicy! I believe the biscuit was by far the best part of the meal... tasted just like what my grandma would have made! We had an AMAZING waitress named Karen! She was pleasant, observant an very easy to talk to. Told her it was our first time an after we got done eating she came back an asked what we thought. Would highly recommend asking to sit @ her table again. read more

The experience was great from start to finish. We were seated promptly and drink orders taken. The food was hot and freshly made. The biscuits were the best I've ever had! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and ready to help if needed. We will be back! read more

Meh. It was okay. I've definitely had better. The prices were a little steep and the parking was atrocious. Really hard to find a spot.

Such a great local restaurant - really cool decor, exceptional service and great food. The cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing!!!!

I'm so glad that we chose this place to eat at! I wasn't disappointed at all! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast/brunch place. Service is good food is BOMB! I will definitely be coming back here when in town again! read more

The biscuit is amazing. I love chicken tenders and theses were ok to me. My fiancée says it's real southern fried chicken and if that's the case perhaps my pallet doesn't prefer that. Wait is short. Great addition to Springfield. read more

Had amazing food and even better sevice one of the best pleases to eat in Springfield

Biscuits so big! Gravy is fantastic. Their chicken is terrific! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I did 3 time enter on s campbell and s glenstone then I order gfood taste good them and good great look nice place

My wife and I are in search of the best biscuits and gravy in the Springfield area so we figure we should try this place. The biscuits are bigger than normal and good. The gravy was covering the biscuits and had some sausage in the gravy so that was a plus. Some of the better biscuits and gravy we have had thus far. Their country potatoes looked like chopped up steak fries and had no seasonings at all. We also got the corned beef hash and eggs w/coffee. Wasn't fresh shreaded corned beef that I enjoy so it was like what you find out of a can but was okay. The hash browns were so thin a crunchy I couldnt eat them. Almost looked like they were trying to thin them out to fill the plate. We thought the black coffee that is $3 and was way over priced. May want to get it cheaper at Starbucks in the same shopping center. Their scrambled bowls looked really good though. We may try that next time. Presentation was okay and our server was really nice. read more
