This is another establishment that has stopped serving Diet Pepsi and substituted Pepsi Zero. That's a big red flag for my wife as she dislikes any Zero product and loves her original diet soda. She ordered a blueberry pancake and a side of bacon. First off, the staff is extremely friendly and thoroughly look like they enjoy their job. I ordered the cowboy breakfast which entailed 2 biscuits covered in 2 sausage patties, hash browns, and country gravy. My wife did not like the pancake. She stated that the batter had a strange flavor and was rather dry. She also stated the blueberries were sour. My only complaint on my breakfast was the hash browns. I have only found a couple of places that cook hash browns correctly. Most establishments cook them like they do here. They don't rinse out the starch and just brown the edges and the insides are chewy and not thoroughly cooked. My biscuits were tasty and fluffy. The sausage was outstanding and flavorful. The gravy was plentiful and was wonderful. We probably won't be coming back due to the fact that the no longer serve Diet Pepsi. That one of the must haves for my wife. Again, the staff was great and they make you feel very welcome.

Our group of five former co-workers met here for lunch to catch up and share some good memories, and this spot was a huge hit. We were seated right away and greeted with a friendly smile and menus. Our waitress came over quickly to take our orders, and before long, our food arrived hot and fresh. Service was excellent from start to finish. This was my second visit -- my first time I had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, which was an absolute winner. Highly recommend! This visit I debated between breakfast or lunch but went with the Philly Cheesesteak. While it wasn't Pat's or Tony Luke's, it was still solid -- great bun, though I wouldn't have minded a little more meat. My wife went with the Chicken Tenders, and they were a big hit -- crispy, juicy, and way more than she could finish (hello, to-go box!). Bonus points for serving Pepsi products -- double win in our book! One of my co-workers ordered the Chicken and Waffles, and I'll admit... I had a little order envy when it arrived. The rest of the table enjoyed the BLT, Chicken Fried Steak, and Cheeseburger, all of which earned rave reviews. The 50's nostalgia theme is fantastic -- from the décor to the oldies on the speakers, it's got the perfect retro vibe. This is definitely one of those places you'll want to visit more than once just to explore the menu. For me, it's a two-hour drive, but honestly, I'd make the trip again. Whether you're in OKC or Tulsa, this is one diner that won't disappoint!

My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

Was given several recommendations to check out this establishment, and honestly, the name alone had me curious enough to finally stop by. Ambiance Today turned out to be the perfect day to visit. Parking was easy and accessible, and I was greeted at the door by multiple staff members ready to assist. I arrived around 1 p.m., so I must've just missed the early breakfast rush, which worked in my favor--I was seated immediately. Service From the hostess to our waiter, Gavin, the service was on point. Gavin greeted everyone with a smile and showed real patience with my entire party. I also noticed several staff members helping one another to make sure customers were taken care of, which says a lot about the teamwork here. Food Wow--what a huge selection. Not only do they offer classic breakfast dishes, but there are also healthy options, quick bites, a kids menu, and plenty of comfort favorites. Gavin mentioned that most items can be modified, which is great for allergies or picky eaters. As for recommendations, anything involving their biscuits is a win, and the waffles and pancakes are definitely worth trying. Overall I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot in Broken Arrow. And if you can, ask for Gavin--he made the experience even better. read more

It was a LOT and I couldn't eat it all, even with help from my kiddo! I still had an entree coming!! I'm a CFS snob and refuse to order one if I even think it comes from a box. This is Oklahoma after all and a staple of ours!! The chicken fried steak here is hand breaded and NOT overflowing with 4" of extra crispy stuff to make it look bigger than what it is. We had JNCOs for that in the 90s, I don't need a culinary version of that on my CFS!!! The meat was tender, breading crispy and the gravy really brought it all home! I opted for Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes which were also yummy, smooth and even better with the gravy. I tried one bite of all three on my fork at the same time and it was good, but I preferred them enjoyed separately. No complaints from me here! Oh! I forgot to mention this also came with a side salad, and yes, like the thick blooded Okie I've become, I also had it with ranch. The salad was good and tasty, but didn't wow me. That's okay to, it's a side salad, not really meant to be the star of the show. The kiddo, at lunch time opted for a single chocolate chip pancake. Normally I'd protest that but it's summer break and she only asked for one, no sides, because she knew we'd share the appetizer tower. I can live with that I suppose!! Also to note, I got great service. I caught the name of my server, but me being miserable at remembering names, I forgot. She did a great job though and that makes for a good dining experience.

The Ambiance: the reason for the two stars. The good.... They have a lot of cool stuff to look at on the wall. But the one thing I always notice is the cooks... my opinion only... they both looked unkept. One was working a million miles per hour like someone on meth. Again just my observation and opinion. Both not wearing gloves and rubbing their nose then back to work on food. The general area looks dirty. The waitresses look very nice on personality but also possible ex addicts. The seat cushions at the counter were ripped and my observations behind the counter just looked dingy and dirty. The owner was waiting at the end of the counter from the time I sat down till the time I left waiting for a guy to show up for a job interview...(waitress friend) the owner wanted to leave but the waitress said he will be here... he's late because he's riding his bike. Appeared to be over an hour late when I left and the guy was not there yet. That owner has more patience than me... if someone was over an hour late to a job interview... he will be late to work with 100 excuses. Not sure what he was thinking waiting that long... seems like a lost cause on that interview. The price for an omelette is super cheap!!! $8.99. So if you're on a budget and want a little risk in life... this is your spot.

Nice surprise when looking for breakfast! Decor is dated...seriously dated, but we came for food…read more Waitstaff was friendly and attentive...and they worked together as a team! Everyone helped everyone out...something you don't see often. We were eating KETO so they offered cottage cheese in lieu of hash browns, which we jumped on. Breakfast was good and hot, all fresh ingredients. Did I mention the decor in here is dated....but that's not the food and service which made this a good visit. Priced reasonable...but not cheap. Overall, a place we would definitely eat again!
