For my meal, I had ordered a garden salad with grilled haddock. The salad was yellowed romaine lettuce, with some cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and red onions with the fish on top. Salad was so bad, I didn't even finish it. $10.50 for the salad and $12.50 for the fish, to put it bluntly, that was a rip-off. My Mother In Law ordered a chicken sandwich, it was just a processed patty on a bun. Onion rings were good though, and the Fish tacos were decent. The only thing we did all really enjoy was the Blueberry shake, and the kid at window had forgotten to give it to me when he handed me our food. Had to go back and ask, "Where's my shake ?" You can order at the window and eat outside at the picnic tables, or go inside to be seated in the casual dining area. The menu has plenty of choices, although many are fried. Boiled corn is also available and is cooked in the same steamer as the crab and lobster, which gives it a little extra flavor. This is a fun, relaxed place to visit after hiking, when arriving in the Bar Harbor area, or when you want a casual meal with family and kids.

I don't have much experience with lobster rolls since I'm not from the Northeast, BUT I would say that these rolls were among the best I've had during my travels both on this trip and prior trips in the Northeast. It's also so convenient that they're right outside the National park so you don't even have to drive that far to find them. Great food and great pricing for being right outside a National park. Was greeted by a friendly employee. Was given a menu and she directed us to where we needed to place our order. Found a table and waited for our dinners to be bright over to our table.
