My girlfriend found this spot through Instagram, and we had literally been tagging each other in food pictures for the past few weeks and finally gave In to going. The food was great for the most part, service was really Good as well. Good size drinks menu too. Overall very quiet atmosphere. They have two bars. And a small restaurant area in each of the rooms where the bars are. We made reservations just to be safe. Everything we ordered was awesome. Only issue we had was the Avocado Bruschetta we ordered which was 14$ with not much on it lol and it wasn't that great. The service here was really good. We were seated right away and the waitress was very attentive to our party of two. After going over the menu several times, we both ordered the chicken and waffles which came out rather quickly. When I saw that huge slab of butter on top of the chicken, I immediately thought, issa nah for me. Still, I went on to eat anyway and I must say that I was quite disappointed. The chicken was not really seasoned at all. I was finna ask for some salt but decided against it. The waffles tasted okay but were way to soft for my liking. I was originally going to order the soft-shelled crab sandwich, but will save that for next time if I decide to give this place another shot. Man, let me tell you! The food here is honestly so good! I've been wanting to come here for over a year and I finally did and boy it did not disappoint! I ended up getting a pop up devour burger and I got the classic smash patties with NY cheddar cheese and the new signature devour sauce and it had to be the best burger I ever had in my life. Every bite felt like I was in heaven!! My girlfriend got a breakfast burrito that had bacon chorizo eggs cheese and potatoes in it with a side salad and it was also really delicious! We sat outside and they have a heater on the street side of the outdoor dining, it was really ideal and cute! This place is perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch! For dessert, the Drunken Cookie is a very good choose. No, it won't make you drunk, but it does come with a syringe of Blueberry alcohol on the side. Couldn't really taste the alchohol, but the taste was amazing overall. The Shrimp Scampi pizza, I got it to go. Even when I heated it up at home, I enjoyed the seafood taste. I've been coming to the Bedford for a few years now. It's my mom's fav spot for lunch/ brunch. Today my 4 year old requested that we had a lunch date at the Bedford so she can have her truffle Mac & cheese with bacon. (Adding bacon to the Mac isn't an option on the menu but they are always glad to add it in). The Mac is great without the bacon, but adding the bacon makes it sooo much better! She also ordered a lemonade (she couldn't order her go to Shirley temple because they don't have grenadine). I ordered my usual grilled cheese & tomato soup... which isn't your typical tomato soup. The food options are great and if you are looking for an Instagram worthy meal this is definitely your place. The reason for 3 stars is that the food is averagely good in my opinion. For NYC my standards are very high and this is not the best brunch I have found. I would give it 3.5 stars for sure if that was possible but unfortunately it's not. I would say in pictures, both the drunken cookie and burger seemed gargantuan in terms of the portion, yet in real life, they were much smaller/regular sized. Nothing was terrible about them but they just weren't good as we expected and did not live up to the hype. The best part of the meal was the Mac n cheese which was creamy and delicious. Hands down the best burger experience I have ever had. I tried BOTH of these burgers and they were both absolutely delicious and on top of that the fries are so flavorful. My boyfriend had the Mac and cheese burger and the buns are DEEP FRIED MAC AND CHEESE LIKE WHATTTTT??? When I saw his burger I had to have a bite and it was out of this world! I ordered the Bedford burger and asked for medium rare, think I finished my Bedford burger in less than a min? Had this place on my list when visiting from California but it seemed like we didn't have enough time to fit in. Finally on one of our last nights, we decided to get out of bed and bust a mission out to Brooklyn (from SoHo) and try to make it before closing. We arrived maybe 10 minutes before they closed, and it was pretty empty since it was a Tuesday night. The hostess could have easily told us they were closing up and sent us away but she was nice enough to seat us and take our order quickly. We came for one thing and one thing only: the mac n cheese burger. Boy, did it ever deliver. This thing was jam packed with so many flavors and textures that all worked so well. There was the obvious cheesy and savory from the mac and burger patty, but there was also a sweetness from the sauce that really put this burger over the top. Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had, although I'd recommend sharing because we split this between two people and were still stuffed. In an age where restaurants are going out of their way to create things that are "post-worthy," this place is a must. 10/10 would go again! read more

Came her late Sunday night and didn't know that they had a late-night bar section. My friend and I walked through their regular entrance and was escorted to their nighttime bar area which has its own late-night menu. We ordered some drinks, the Creme Brule and the Drunken cookie which were both so delicious. My two friends and I got Sunday brunch here. We arrived around 11:30 and there were still a few tables open so we were immediately seated outside on their cute street patio. I got the Mac N Cheese Burger and it was fantastic. At first glance, $24 might seem a bit pricey for a burger but it came with a huge patty and two massive "buns" absolutely loaded with delicious, gooey mac and cheese plus a generous serving of perfectly made Old Bay fries (yum!). I ordered the burger medium and it was cooked perfectly. I even asked for an egg on top and they obliged without even charging me extra. My friends ordered the French toast fritters and the truffle egg toast. Both enjoyed their dishes though they looked a little small to me. The service was fantastic. Our waiter checked in on us regularly and we never had to wait long for a refill of our water pitcher or my coffee (delicious La Colombe). We also had a very attentive bus boy helping our waiter out. They have many small plates that are perfect for group shares, and larger entrees for dinner as well. I've also had the Bedford plank burger when in the mood for a full dinner, and this proved to be well-cooked, well-seasoned, and well-adorned with succulent toppings and a zesty garlic aioli. Drinks also review favorably - I've had the kicking mule a few times and loved it. It's generally served in the traditional copper mug, though last night they arrived in Absolut porcelain cups, which was a bit ODD. Either way, still delicious. Service has always been nothing short of excellent each time I've gone here. While the prices are high (in typical Williamsburg fashion), the food and drink are always high quality - this spot is a favorite for locals, and for good reason. 5/5 stars. read more

Have lived in NYC for 15 years a vast majority in wburg and somehow never tried this place. Decided to try it out for brunch today and was majorly disappointed. While the food itself was fine - not excellent but fine - the experience and wait staff was not great. A disinterested server (male, dark hair, slight build) came by to take our drink orders. He couldn't even stop to make eye contact; he literally strolled by in passing without introducing himself and said what do you want to drink, I ordered my drink and my partner could barely order his before the server ran off. My partner ordered a devour burger and fries and I ordered a Macchina pie. They first brought out the burger which was not with the pizza. (They charge an extra $8 to tack fries on the burger which is a little excessive for a mediocre mid level restaurant that in itself would be fine except the portion was a just a few fries and they came out cold. We let it go, as cold fries is not the end of the world.) My partner sat waiting for my food. I told him to go ahead and eat so his burger didn't also get cold. He said he wanted to wait for me. 5 minutes go by no sign of the pie, 10 minutes go by and still no sign of my food and no visit from the server or acknowledgement of where my food was... I tell my partner please begin eating because the food was never coming. Finally a bus boy sees me waiting without food and tells the "server". He sees me looking and runs back to a kitchen and comes back with a pizza. No apology or acknowledgement what so ever. He never checked to see if we needed anything during the meal but upon completion of our meal was there right away to see if we needed another round. He apparently has no idea that service is about more than how many items he can tack on the check because his 20-25% tip was just expected. Upon him bringing the bill we mentioned to him hey you know the fries were $8 and cold, you never passed by to see if we needed anything, and you never said anything up front that pizzas may come out way later than other food or acknowledged that my pizza was running late. His response "so sorry" and ran off again. I am sorry but this man should not have a job in service. Gratuity is earned and should not be expected.
