Omelet with homefries and sourdough; eggs sardou in the background.

We were excited to try this place on our visit to Little Compton. Pros: service was super fast, friendly, and coffee refills were quick. We were told a 30 minute wait and we waited only 30 minutes. Home fries were excellent, perfect poached egg, sourdough was excellent, good omelet. Ambiance was wonderful - a refurbished old barn!! Prices were excellent. Cons: eggs bayou was meh - the crab cakes were so-so and the hollandaise sauce was flavorless. Food was room temperature when it arrived. If I came back I would try the pancakes and waffles instead - those might be better.

The barn is a delicious place to get breakfast. I have eaten here twice now and both times were incredible. I had eggs Benedict the second time, which was excellent. The coffee cake of the day was to die for. My husband really enjoyed his omelet both times, as well. The servers are very friendly and personable. You can tell there are many locals who frequent this place quite often. It is very quaint inside and there aren't too many tables which makes it super cozy. We will be back soon!

If you are planning on eating here, especially on a weekend; get there early. The place is always packed and for good reason. The wait staff is friendly and willing to always make sure you are happy! The cinnamon roll is amazing! The lobster Benedict was so good I wanted more! Get a mimosa if you want the full brunch experience. The coffee is good as well. The entire is super cute and rustic. It's worth the drIve if you are anywhere in the vicinity. I cannot wait to go back in the near future..

We went on a busy, rainy Saturday around 10:30 and waited about 20 mins or so for a table. . The staff was very friendly and I liked how they all worked together as a team. My husband got a b fast sandwich on a croissant with OJ, he immediately commented how it was fresh squeezed. I got an iced coffee and the crab cakes eggs benedict. . Everything was delicious - we loved the rustic barn atmosphere too.

I'll start off by saying that this place knows their flavors and seasonings! Our food was packed with both! The home fries were perfectly cooked and again, full of taste! They weren't dry, weren't overly buttery and weren't soggy - right on point. I try corned beef hash everywhere I go in New England and this one has entered the top 3. It's not overly salty, seasoned just right, good ration of corned beef to hash. The only note is it needed just a tad bit more crisp on the top to add that bam! But it was still great! Everything else was flavorful, greatly portioned and well worth the cheap prices given the area. The inside is rustic, clean, airy and bright. Servers were kind and friendly despite being busy. Plenty of parking, but again - it gets fairly packed. PSA: the Barn does get busy, so plan ahead. It's important to be mindful of the effects of COVID on staffing and demand, with that being said - expect a wait even on weekday mornings. This is was no issue for my party and I, as we generally understand the circumstances aren't indicative of restaurant or service quality.

Hello, wonderful place, finally able to try, (thanks Brad). Great atmosphere, food is fresh, and abundant, only tried breakfast so far but was very impressed. I highly recommend.

Excellent! From the food to the service to the ambiance. So glad I finally was able to check this place off my foodie bucket list. Everything was so fresh. It's a 2 hour roundtrip for me but I hope to visit at least monthly!!

Grilled cinnamon bun, Warm and toasty.

Fast, friendly service with a smile. Close quarters, but somehow comfortable. Beautiful morning light adds to the welcome. The hash, the hashbrowns, the specialty egg dishes, and weekly specials are worth the sometimes lengthy wait.

I've never had a bad meal here. I'm not really a big fan of breakfast food but I love this place. Try to get there early because it does fill up quickly. Service is always good and waitresses are friendly. I love the quaint country atmosphere.

I actually saw an " add on " to a salad of cranberry chicken salad- and asked if they could just make a basic chicken salad sandwich open faced on toast- with sliced apples on top. OMG- it was huge and delish! And they were accommodating even though it was not a regular menu item! Now that's service! The coffee was really good too, and everything was reasonably priced! It was a very pretty 20-minute drive to the Four Corners Grille, with great GPS service throughout the short trip. Good thing, too, because it's a winding way, with miles of sturdy dry-stone walls along the way. I chose Four Corners Grille in large part because I'm a major fan of fried clams. Living in Ohio and Washington, DC, I've searched without success for authentic fried clams; Four Corners is the first place that ever met (and indeed exceeded) my expectations. I started with New England Clam Chowder (cup, $7), but since I really wanted to try the lobster bisque, I ordered a cup for takeout dinner the next day (cup, $8). The main attraction, whole belly fried clams (market price), were amazing! The serving was more than ample in number (I had enough leftovers the next day for a meal to go with my takeout bisque). The clams were perfectly breaded and seasoned, and came out sizzling, along with hot rustic French fries and Cole slaw. I don't believe I've ever had such a tasty serving of fried clams in my life. Service was attentive, and the dessert menu was too tempting to pass up (I had the turtle cheesecake, split between both nights). Well worth a trip!

It's not just a restaurant--it's a seaside ritual. A full-on coastal vibe check. By day, this place hums with a tide of locals and sun-kissed visitors, all riding that same salty wavelength. The outside seating? Chef's kiss. Whether you're perched at the surfboard table (yes, really), chilling by the firepit, or posted up at the outdoor bar chillin' in the shade or soaking in the rays (depending on time of day), it always feels like a low-key beach party. Add in that Scooby-Doo-style van hawking t-shirts and tank tops and you've got yourself a beach fiesta postcard . Drink-wise, they're reppin' the South Coast with a rotating lineup of New England brews and a cocktail menu that says "kick off those flip flops and stay a while." The chowder? Clam or seafood--either one is a pregame MVP. Creamy, flavorful, and loaded with sea-kissed goodness. But the main event? That lobstah roll. Oh baby. Warm. Nekked. Buttered. No mayo nonsense (that's how I roll). Just pure, buttery shellfish glory piled high in a toasted split-top roll. Served with fries that actually hold their own--crispy, salty, and impossible to stop picking at even after you "swear you're full." Service stays solid despite the crowd--friendly, laid-back, and on point with the refills and check-ins. They know what they're doing, even when the patio's packed and the orders are flying. The Bayside is a beach town legend. Come for the lobstah roll, stay for the surfboard tables, the sun-soaked vibes, and the kind of carefree energy that makes you wish you lived on a boat.
