There aren't many places where I can get a choruico breakfast sandwich on bolo bread in this world. And maybe that's how it ought to be. Some things are just meant to be exclusive to certain areas. Needless to say it was completely delicious. And it was inexpensive. This is the most reasonable place I've eaten in months. With the way prices are nowadays it's a breath of fresh air. The location was easy to find, parking was convenient, and the space had a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The coffee bar was fun to explore and I also took a peek at the brewery side (I'll definitely be back to check it out another time). The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain their signature Brewhouse Bomb. It was absolutely delicious: rich, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. This visit was such a great introduction to Brewhouse District and I can't wait to come back and try more!

The owners are very informed of the history that took place in the area and are willing to share and give tours of the basement! Everything was very informative and the drinks were very delicious. The owner of the building also gave us a tour of the basement. If you are familiar with the history of the Lizzie Borden case, the doctor who first viewed the bodies of the murder of Andrew and Abbey lived in this house. There is also a horrific murder that took place on scene in the basement where unfortunately a mother took her and her own children's (2/3) lives.

They charged me 30 dollars for a tiny "salad" that didn't even have all the ingredients/garnishes it was said to come with and the smallest slice of salmon I've ever seen. I was actually laughing at this. It took me all of 5 min to eat my "meal". The calamari was also soggy and imo not cooked well. The shrimp and corn fritters were sooooo good! I recommend them!
