It was our first time here and we wanted to see how it was. Service was very good and the waitress was friendly as well. The food came out quickly and was delicious along with the coffee. The wait was 30 min to get in. Prices were comparable to other breakfast places. Overall this was a good experience and we would come back. I would have given the service a 5 star but she forgot to bring me the muffin that I had requested to take home. Other than that everything was great. read more

I love this place!! My friends and I stop by for breakfast every couple months when our schedules all align. Food is amazing and the service is outstanding. The staff always have a smile on their face and are kind. I usually get the Irish Eggs Benedict or the pancakes. 10/10. They're almost always packed when I go, the few times I've had to wait, it's been no more than 15 minutes. A family friendly environment with amazing prices you can't find anywhere else. I tell everyone about Alice's when they're looking for a breakfast place to try. read more

Excellent Place, Excellent Breakfast, Busy Place, Little Wait. Had the Irish Benedict, Very Good, Nice Hash, fluffy and satisfying. The Hollandaise sauce was nice and a full portion. Could have had a tad more lemon flavor but was very satisfying. The option for potatoes was good, regular home fries or shredded, I took the shredded which went quite well with my Egg Benedict. I had a muffin as well, the Pistachio walnut, nice big tasty muffin (a little less pistachio flavor than I expected), still nice, full muffin, large enough to be grilled in 3 pieces. Friendly service, Decent Prices. Lunch menu looks awesome, Fish options Thurday Through Saturday? Lunch till 1:30 except From day till 8:00, Double check on that to be sure. This place is always busy and for good reason. Their food is cheap and delicious. We haven't dined in because there's always a long wait, so we just order takeout. We call ahead and pick up. It's a bit of a drive from where my boyfriend lives, but it is worth it. I have been inside and it looks like a diner. No fancy decor, but who needs that when you have good food? I guess my bar for ambience is a little bit lower when it comes to breakfast. And sometimes that hometown diner vibe is just what you need in the morning. read more

Staff is always Very Pleasant and Attentive. Atmosphere is Very Welcoming. Feels like Family. The Coffee is Perfection with free refills. Alice's is a staple in the community. The food is always good and you can count on feeling full. My favorites are the corned beef hash and their monster sized pancakes! The service has always been good for me and my family. The wait can sometimes be long, and they have a confusing reservation system, but it's just part of the small town charm for me. One of my good buddies has been telling to go to Alice's for a long time, so I decided to go back and try it as my work schedule just doesn't really allow me to go to breakfast much. As soon as I got here I did remember how nice and fast the waitresses were, but that was almost 10 years ago and I didn't think they would still hold the same values, but it did. Everything I ordered was great. I honestly can't find a single bad thing to say about Alice's. Want a cafe where you'll leave well fed and ready for a great day! Looking for somewhere that doesn't break the bank. Alice's has and continues to be my favorite spot for breakfast in the area. I love their pancakes, and don't worry, just one fills the whole plate. The servers are incredible and super friendly, and it's a cute little place with a small sit down counter. This place has been open for years now, and fortunately for them, they survived the pandemic. However, their prices have risen beyond their service and professionalism. They need to hire additional waitstaff. Their existing staff stands around talking to their regulars as the rest of us wait around. I'm an irregular regular and was told to grab a table that wasn't cleared. Since THEY work there, I thought nothing of it and sat down. After 15 minutes, I asked them if I could be waited on, and was spoken to as if I was a child. 2 staff members chastised me for sitting there. NEVER going back!!! Met a longtime friend here for breakfast at 9:00 today while in the area from Virginia. We were told to hurry up and order soon after we got our booth, so they could turn the table in an hour. When I got up to use the restroom after we had finished eating, the waitress stopped me and said-" you are leaving now aren't you- you've been here for an hour". No food is good enough for that sort of service! There were empty tables and no crowd waiting when we left at 10:00. Won't be back on any future visits! Place is plain and food is not anything special- typical diner food. Definitely not a place to meet up with a friend. read more

I have been a customer of Alice's Last Stop for years. I drive 40 minutes jut to eat breakfast here. I typically would visit weekly. However it's been two months since my last visit and today will be my last. We always make reservations before our visit. However, since they have a new greeter, we've had nothing but problems. Today, Father's Day we arrived on time only to be told you need to wait a few minutes and after waiting a few minutes another couple walked in and got seated immediately. That was not the issue with me, what bothered me most was someone who showed up without a reservation was seated before me in a large booth while we were still waiting. We had to complain and got seated in a tiny booth. A walk-in can get a seat before a person with a reservation? The last time I was here a similar thing happened, we were told to wait, even though I could see seating available and after 10 minutes, a couple came in and got seated immediately. I waited a half hour for my breakfast even though I had reservations. Alices Last Stop is no longer a go to place for me. read more

Great place! Nice servers, hilarious customers sitting nearby. A great vibe all around. The food is great and so was the price. The crepes were large and LOADED with strawberries, and the sweet bread french toast was "the best" my partner has had in a while. Very reasonable and good food. We go at least twice a month for breakfast and a Friday night dinner every so often. Never have been disappointed. Suggest making a reservation for breakfast if going on weekend as they can get crowded. Reservations need to be made at least one day before attending. read more

I ordered lunch & the other 2 people in the party ordered breakfast. Banana Nut French toast was OK, 2nd guest got an omelet & ordered the shredded potatoes but got home fries instead that weren't cooked all the way. She didn't mind too much and focused on the omelet. I ordered the Pot Roast Dinner with mashed potatoes & Butternut Squash. When my lunch arrived I tasted the Squash & it was ice cold like it had been just pulled from the fridge. I tried the mashed potatoes & roast beef & they were both room temp. I told the waitress & she said she would have them heat it. When she brought it back the Squash was still ice cold, the Potatoes were piping hot on the edge of the plate (nearest the microwave side) but room temp every where else & the beef was still room temp but it was now dried out. It was just completely unappealing & I couldn't eat any of it. I asked the waitress if she could take it off the bill & she said she wouldn't do that. She said many people love it & if she had to take meals off the bill for everybody that "just didn't like the food" she'd be doing it all the time. Not sure if this is a reference to how much food gets sent back to the kitchen or what. But I call BS because nobody wants cold Pot Roast dinner. 1 of the other diners in our party said it's not that she didn't like it, but that she couldn't eat it - it was cold! Then she said "fine don't give me a tip I don't care but I will remember your faces". Not sure what that is supposed to mean. None of us had mentioned anything about a tip at all. It wasn't about the tip, it was about serving cold food to customers & not taking responsibility for it. The waitress just kept talking loudly over me & wouldn't listen, basically causing a scene. I should have asked for the manager but we just wanted to get out of there. We paid all of the bill and left her a 20% tip but we will never go there again and will tell everybody we know about the experience. read more

Based on a friend's recommendation my husband and I gave this restaurant a try. Coffee was average (not bad but not a wow, acceptable). I had the cranberry/blueberry/walnut pancake which was very good, a definite I would get again! Husband had the ham and cheese omelette which he rated as 3 maybe 4 stars. Omelette was made from fresh eggs which is important. Service was very good with experienced servers. Homey small town ambiance with a few flyers posted at entrance which added to homey touch.
