The baked goods/pastries are awesome. The non pastry food I got to go was dry and tasted a couple days old. Disappointed to say the least. With all the bragging about how welcoming/inclusive they are, it was the most weirdly unwelcome and snooty eatery I've ever visited. Polite/cheerful questions I asked went unanswered, just staring down at the food as he (Nate) filled my order. I think this business should not have him at the counter, no customer service skills. And to think I drove 40 minutes to get there and stupidly tipped! The place is beautiful, a lot of work and pride went into it inside and out. But why the weird unfriendly vibe? Won't be back. Why aren't customers as important as those whom they help? How hard is it to say hello or welcome or thank you. The only thing said to me was "anything else?" This is a lovely cafe that offers some cozy seating, pastries and coffee creations. I tried a savory pastry and really enjoyed it! Especially since I was asked if I wanted it heated up. I also ordered an iced latte, I personally prefer a stronger tasting drink, but I know many people would love this. They have a variety of flavor syrups to make your own creation as well. What is fate? Fate is a series of events that will decide what will happen in the future beyond human control. Let's start with my name. Hi I'm Christopher Silva. Similar to the owner of this wonderful establishment. I don't make my way to Fall River very often. I've seen a lot of Christophers good deeds that he has done on social media. He seems like a very good man. So I was driving down south main street, and I seen Christopher walking by himself, headed in the direction towards his cafe. I decided to go around the block. And if I happened to catch him, great, I just wanted to know what's the number one thing. I should try there. Fate has it, I got a red light, and he literally had to cross in front of me. So I rolled down my window, and asked him that question, he said the frozen custard, when my light turned green, I went through the intersection, and pulled the quickest u turn possible, found a parking spot crossed the street only to sadly find out that his store was closed. I missed it by 17 minutes. I got back in my car and all of a sudden. He comes running out telling me to hold on, wait right there, so I get out of my car again, go across the street and wait for him. He comes out with the frozen custard that he wanted me to try. I offered to pay and he happily refused my cash offering, and told me to have a wonderful day when I got in my car, I realize it's carrot cake!!!!! Once again fate has it. If there was one item I would have ever picked for flavor, it would be carrot cake, it was always my favorite. He did tell me to let him know what I thought of it. One thing he did not know is I'm quite the foodie but also a huge ice cream connoisseur. I work for a company called New England Ice Cream, and we deliver all brands of ice cream locally, to stores and scoop shops and we also have a plant that manufactures the ice cream in Attleboro a very famous local establishment known as Bliss Brothers Ice cream now Bliss. So let me tell you what I think about your frozen custard, sir. Absolutely amazing! To me what makes a great ice cream is the texture and the texture of that custard, probably because I'm assuming custard has to be churned very slowly. Unlike ice cream, where it's whipped very fast to add a lot of air in it. This custard was so dense it has absolutely been perfected. So thank you for your wonderful recommendation and you're generous offering, of a free pint. I was hoping to bring some home for my wife and son to try. But it didn't make it back to Fairhaven so in light of that, we'll be returning most likely as a family very soon. I've seen some nice sandwiches that I would love to try there. Pastry and Coffee wise there's some things here that are a hit and some that are a miss. If you're looking for fresh pastries with lots of variety, need an eh pick me up coffee and are looking for affordable prices this is your spot! They have syrups and coffee price point is solid. Took my son to Christopher's in Fall River Massachusetts. It was so worth it ! The environment was so calming,best Iced coffee &bacon egg and cheese sandwich's we have ever had (I couldn't finish mine! So I'm eating it again later for lunch lol)we will definitely be back!!! Have been in a few times now and this place doesn't disappoint. This little café is an absolute gem. The almond croissant was perfectly flaky and rich, and the baked haddock sandwich was honestly the best I've ever had--fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bun was tasty and just the right size. The mystery dressing, yummy They offer a great selection of teas, along with some really fun and creative coffee flavors that make it hard to choose just one. The décor is beautiful and unique, giving the space a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the friendly atmosphere makes you want to stay awhile. Wow what a perfect little hidden gem right in Fall River. It's my first time here and I'm very glad I came, because I was hesitant when I couldn't find much about them here or elsewhere online. Apparently they opened fairly recently, but they're working like a well oiled machine already. Menu changes daily but you can find it on their Facebook page. The sandwiches were MASSIVE - huge roast beef and pastrami sandwiches with fresh bread and great pickles on the side. I was really surprised at how large they were. Everything is made fresh- we watched the owner go outside to pick fresh herbs multiple times. This is a great little eatery! He has a varying menu that includes Portuguese Cuisine, Lobsta Mac and Cheese, amazing pastries and homemade breads! The list goes on...you never know what's on the menu until you walk in there and which is great if you love delicious food and love variety of cuisines! Cute cafe with friendly staff! Stopped in towards the end of the day, and we snagged the last couple cookie dough croissants, which were decadent and delicious. They do their croissant recipes well. The hubby enjoyed their scones too! Location is a bit interesting. It's on the corner of a busy intersection. We were able to find street parking across from the establishment. This tiny neighborhood shop is a hidden gem! Really beautifully decorated, with lots of items for sale as you wait to place your order (including homemade vanilla extract). I came for the baked goods, which I had heard about, and they exceeded all expectation. The croissants are absolutely delicious, filled with the perfect flavors and taste fresh. But the real prize was the breakfast sandwich, served on a giant homemade croissant and fried up fresh - oh my gosh. Wow. This place needs to be on your list! Eh. Everything is made from scratch as he constantly reminds everyone almost daily but that still doesnt justify the high prices and the lack of flavor. Again this is my opinion and he may go on a rant that he got a not so good review but you're a business owner! You cant please them all and you should expect some good and some not so good. Anyway, I had the cheesecake on a stick $13+ crumbly (not smooth) and not good. Had 2 bites and threw it out. Moving on to the crossaint and Mac & Cheese (not lobster) $30+ almost had a coronary when I had the total for those 2 items. Crossaint wasnt bad however, the mac & cheese was a noooo for me. Excellent food. I have had a roast beef sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich from Christopher's Cafe. We also tried two pastries (not sure what their names were). Today, my husband picked up takeaway lunch for us. We each got a chicken sandwich, one tomato soup to split, a nitro brew coffee and a pastry and the total was $70. This is certainly not typical Fall River pricing. I probably won't go back, based on the prices, when I know how much food I can get elsewhere in the city for $70. I also know that food is expensive and the quality seemed high, but $70 is quite outrageous for a lunch for two people. read more

Every bite of food I've had at Christopher's has been spectacular! My fellow diner and I have gotten two different sandwiches and split them - often with some left to take home. The food cases beckon with freshly baked desserts, croissants, breakfast treats and more. There are often salads, soups and focaccia. You never know what their culinary creativity will come up with. No menu - it's all about what their love of cooking brings forth. Christopher's is small and beautiful. My family and I have been to Christopher's since they opened. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Christopher and Nate are amazing gentlemen who care deeply for their community. Like them on Facebook and you instantly see the magic that happens at this small neighborhood cafe. The food is second to none! Today my wife and I had the Angus burger and fries. I can't begin to tell you how great that burger was! One could say it's only a burger. I say you must try this burger. Insanity delicious! We had the Chicken sandwich last week. Another must try. The food is excellent, the ambiance is wonderful. And the work this place does for community clean-up, community involvement, community awareness is wonderful. However, more & more the owners' time is taken up with community projects and there's less and less attention paid to posting what is available on the menu. The cafe has become secondary to their work & identity. There's a small core menu that doesn't change (though most of it's gone by the end of their workday, which is 2:00) & then there's the rest of the menu & offerings which change every day. The owners used to update their daily menu offerings every day. Now that happens less & less. Most posts are now devoted to their community projects. They used to update their customers to their daily menu offerings at their other location in the north of the city, now there's almost no info on that location at all. What they're doing for the community is great but it's like the cafe itself doesn't matter anymore. The one day they're open on weekends (Saturday, when many people don't work) are often taken up by community projects, leaving the cafe closed. read more
