Cafe with amazing views, indoor and outdoor seating available. Large menu with varieties of pastries, coffees, teas, sandwiches, bowls, and more. Everything came out delicious and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio for a while with friends. Definitely recommend!

    Cheeeeeesepuuuulllllll Parisian on multigrain

Went to Black Goose Cafe today on the recommendation of someone in a sangwich group. I got the Parisian: grilled chicken breast, caramelized onions, herb cheese spread, provolone, and baby spinach. This normally comes on country white bread but I substituted multigrain for no extra charge. It was $9.95 before tax. I rate this 8.3/10. I rate my sangwiches from a rubric of three standards: taste, eatability and texture. Taste 8/10. Overall a delicious sandwich. Good balance in toppings, the herb spread was tasty. Me personally, I needed something tangy/acidic to cut thru the richness of this beauty (do you see the cheese pull in the photo??). That and a little heat, so maybe a house hot sauce I could buy on the side would do the trick. Eatability 8/10. A little herb spread dripped out, but had no issues keeping clean while eating with the paper in my lap. However, I took out most of the spinach in one bite on one of the halves. Texture: 9/10. Not all their sandwiches are paninis but I highly recommend you get one. The crunch on this was incredible and it helped balance the creaminess of the insides. The multigrain is extra good this way, the press toasts the seeds on top Other things to note: decent menu with mix of cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, salads and Buddah bowls. This Cafe offers a variety of espresso drinks AND BOBA (which I was thrilled to find!) Customer service was a little cold at first, they didn't greet me when I arrived and kind of ignored me until they served me. But once they said hi, they were very sweet and gave good service. GORGEOUS view of the water and they have a patio on the side to enjoy both your order and the view. Parking was easy enough out front but could be tricky if they're terribly busy. I believe on the street parking is also available. I'm definitely coming back, this is right down the road from work

Another adorable coastal cafe in Tiverton! One thing about me: I WILL find all the coffee shops. Black Goose Cafe is a quaint spot with a nice patio to enjoy the incredible views. The inside is tiny but bright and inviting. The menu is plentiful for a small cafe, I was impressed! We came in the AM, so I went the breakfast route and ordered the Huevos Rancheros Wrap. The sun dried tomato wrap was made with scrambled eggs, salsa, avocado, sour cream, tomato, and cheese. It wasn't listed on the menu, but there were actually black beans mixed in there as well. I don't like beans, but this wrap was bombbb, so I didn't even care! Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and filling. I washed it down with a fresh OJ, so yummy! Loved this spot. Hope to be lucky enough to be in the area again and come back one day!

    Nasty a** egg

Terrible. Overpriced. $9 for a bacon egg and cheese but if you want that on anything other than white bread it's an extra $2. The bacon looked and tasted like leather. Egg was microwaved and looked like styrofoam. Tasted horrible. All show, no flavor. Will be recommending this place to people I despise.

Godfather?! More like god awful. All the meat was condensed into one slab instead of folded and the peppers tasted like butt.

With slight lunch rush there was a bit of a hustle and bustle vibe going on, but service was friendly and swift. Whether you want to sit at the bar, table for two, four or more, this is a great little diner to enjoy a breakfast or lunch meal. Until yesterday morning, the holder of that title was 3 Monkeys in Richmond, Virginia. That title changed hands at the bar at Jax Diner yesterday in Middletown, RI. The man running the food, I think his name is John (my apologies if memory fails me!), is a force, in both a physical and epicurean sense. He towers o er the grill with a presence and makes the best sausage gravy I have ever tasted, and that is saying something. I practically ignored everything else on that considerable plate of food because I didn't dare leave a scrap of the biscuit and gravy! It's that good. Title worthy good. It's made to order too - yup, you heard that right. When I sat down and told the server that this was my first time there, the local guy to my left chuckled and said, without looking up from his plate, "it won't be his last." When our eyes met, I saw the truth with no words exchanged, that I had found my way accidentally into the club of Jax believers, those who truly understood what makes it great there. And now I do too. Go find the secret - it's at Jax, a cool little humble diner doing great things. Enjoy!
