Greek omelet with Bolos and PB Cup ice coffee
Stef S.

We found this place on the way home from Horseneck after surfing. I'm so glad we did. Walking in, takes you back to what restaurants were years ago. A bar with welcoming seats at the counter, friendly staff and returning customers that all know each other. I ordered a peanut butter cup ice coffee and it was delicious. I didn't need to put any sugar in it, as the beans were flavorful enough. I did add almond milk, which has a cost of about $.60 instead of creamer. I had a Greek omelet and didn't have to modify anything. This is a big one for me. They also served a griddled bolos on the side and fresh made home fries on the grill. My wife had a homemade blueberry muffin that was really good. She ate the basic breakfast with bacon, which was huge. Bacon was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and chatty! The lives were great. This is my new go to after surfing.

Absolutely delicious food!! The apple cinnamon pancakes were very yummy. The boy serving us seemed quiet and not too friendly but overall great service and would come back again.

They weren't dry, weren't overly buttery and weren't soggy - right on point. I try corned beef hash everywhere I go in New England and this one has entered the top 3. It's not overly salty, seasoned just right, good ration of corned beef to hash. The only note is it needed just a tad bit more crisp on the top to add that bam! But it was still great! Everything else was flavorful, greatly portioned and well worth the cheap prices given the area. The inside is rustic, clean, airy and bright. Servers were kind and friendly despite being busy. Plenty of parking, but again - it gets fairly packed. PSA: the Barn does get busy, so plan ahead. It's important to be mindful of the effects of COVID on staffing and demand, with that being said - expect a wait even on weekday mornings. This is was no issue for my party and I, as we generally understand the circumstances aren't indicative of restaurant or service quality.

Our first contact with Kendra was in February for a May event. She was helpful, responsive, and took great care of us even though our date happened to coincide with one of White's busiest days: Mother's Day! We booked a private room for three hours with access to the grand buffet. We were not able to provide an exact headcount as we told guests to stop in whenever they could, but Kendra and her team were still able to accommodate us. The staff, Kendra and Myles, greeted our guests warmly, provided cocktail service, continuously replenished water, coffee, and juice, and quickly replaced place settings as our 40-50 guests came and went during the morning. When the room started to get full with the original five tables that were set, Kendra and her staff set up an additional table without even being asked to do so. They had such a keen eye for the details and really made the event run perfectly. A special treat was that Chris, the owner of LaFrance Hospitality, made a point of coming over to the hosts to thank us for our patronage. So nice of him to do that on such a busy Sunday morning. The buffet was plentiful and the food was delicious. All of our guests enjoyed their meals, and even on such a crowded day the lines moved very quickly and nothing ran out. Overall, I would highly recommend White's of Westport for any special occasion event, and especially working with Kendra Mello.

She said it was delicious! I had a basic breakfast sandwich with a side of hollandaise. So tasty! We eat had breakfast and a drink and it was $20 for everything. What a steal! Dunkin is more expensive for breakfast! There was a ton of seating, but it was rather busy for a Wednesday morning! Food was out quickly and was hot! Loved that! Our server was super nice, i wish i had asked for her name! It looked like there wasn't a ton of parking, but there is also an additional lot around back and street parking if needed by chance! What a cute spot! I have to come back and try more items---they have some really yummy sounding French toasts!

This time we were told to sit in a booth by the waitress pointing to the table and walking away. We sat for almost 10 minutes without anyone coming over to even ask if we wanted coffee. Wouldn't have minded so much but there were only 3 tables occupied and 3 waitresses behind the counter talking to each other. Never got to order food but the prices looked a little higher than other places. Will not be returning.

We generally sit outside during the summer months. We go to Horseneck Beach a lot and this place is a stable when we want a sit down dinner. They have a fire pit with wood, which I absolutely love. They also have a tent set up that has an outside bar and a lot of tables. We have sat inside before in October after surfing as it gets kind of chilly. I've had a lot of stuff on their menu. I'd have to say my favorite dish is their eggplant fries. They are cooked perfectly every time, come with an aïoli and are really just absolutely one of my favorite foods. The picture I posted is from a lobster BLT special and as you can tell, they didn't skimp on the lobster. I've also had their lobster roll, which is absolutely delicious. They have homemade coleslaw that accompany many of the dishes and I highly recommend that too. The staff is always great, especially considering that most of them are part-time and working a summer job. They carry soda from a local soda company, which is awesome as they support all local businesses, including breweries. The drinks are a little pricey, but aligned with other places that are open seasonally around the area. They have an extensive dessert menu with quite a few homemade desserts. I've liked everyone that I've had from them! This will remain in our restaurant rotation, and I would suggest that you check it out for yourself. It's a great family owned restaurant that makes you feel like family.

Absolutely beautiful dining atmosphere…read more We called last minute for reservations and they were fully booked but managed to get our party of 4 on the south patio which is covered. The views were beautiful. We started with cocktails at one of the high top tables- to note there isn't service to these tables we had to bring the drinks from the bar. The parking lot was packed. Testament to a restaurant to be this busy on a Monday night. The food was excellent- well prepared and flavorful. We shared a desert. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were spot on. We had a reservation for 3:45 p.m., but arrived a little early and were promptly seated at a table by the window, which turned out to be the perfect spot for watching the storm outside. Service was slow, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. We each started with a cocktail. I ordered the Lavender Spritz, which was light and very refreshing, while hubby had the Pineapple Negroni, which was definitely on the stronger side. We each preferred our own drink, so it worked out perfectly! For appetizers, hubby had the creamy clam chowder and shrimp corn fritters. He enjoyed the fritters, but felt the chowder was more thick than creamy. I ordered the crab cake, which was okay, although I've had better elsewhere. For our main courses, hubby ordered the cornmeal crusted haddock sandwich, which he said wasn't particularly memorable, while I went with the two-pound lobster stuffed with shrimp and scallops. It came with a choice of two sides, and I chose the wild rice pilaf and asparagus. I enjoyed my lobster, and the shrimp and slices of scallops were very tasty. I just wished there had been less buttered herb crumbs stuffing, as it was heavy for my taste. We were too full for dessert, but couldn't resist taking a slice of limoncello mascarpone cake back with us to enjoy later--and it turned out to be outstanding! Overall, we felt the food was somewhat overpriced. Hubby's take was a little stronger--he felt some of his dishes reminded him of catering hall food. I think part of what you're paying for here is the waterfront location and view.
