Their fish sandwich is all the rage, my mom and aunt split it because it is HUGE! I ordered just a double cheeseburger with the fixings, very tasty! Cool ordering system, place order and pay, receive ticket number then order number faller from another window and there you collect your food. I rode with a friend to the quaint town of Bunnell,Florida and we stopped at a small place called the Bantam Chef. It looks like and old drive up resturant. You walk yup to the window and order and they give your food to you and you go and sit down at a picnic table. The people are super friendly. The place was very clean, even the bathrooms. The lady that took our order came out and asked us how we like our fish sandwich. It had so many fillets on it that you couldn't get your mouth around it. The fish was fried to perfection and the bun and toppings were fresh. I would go here again for a casual Saturday or Sunday lunch. read more

Went there yesterday per the good reviews we were not disappointed I got the chuckwagon with onion rings wife got shrimp plate and our soon got slaw dogs and onion rings it was well worth every penny the food was delicious the onion rings are the BOMB so good and the chuckwagon reminded me of my childhood as you just can't find them anymore my wife loved the shrimp and the Cole slaw as great we will be going back and I will be getting the chuckwagon and onion rings again plus I got an order of chicken wings very tasty thank you for the great dinner we had read more

This was my first fish sandwich. It was wonderful, it was so much fish I came home with some. The sandwich was so big that I could not open my mouth that wide and believe me I have a big mouth.lol The mushroom were superb. I kept eating them even though they just came out of the fryer. Soooooo tastey. The hushpuppies were good and hot. This restaurant is on fire. Now, the cream de la cream the deep fried twinkies, very sweet, soft and the outside was crunchy, a little to crunchy for me and that is where I took off the star, if I could it would only be a half star. A well just moving to town and heard everyone rave about this place after a 12 hour shift I thought I'd get Togo well the frys I had to spit out tasted like a week old burnt grease the burger was not made to order it was old and stale and soggie and they did not add the topping not one and if that want bad enough my tea literally had a onion in it not sure what happened but it was terrible and why it was 12 bucks I have no idea for what ended up being a whole meal in the trash read more

You might want to consider taking it home or somewhere to eat, the flies, and the heat can be annoying if you are uptight. They have an assortment of deep fried stuff and a Philly Cheesesteak, but I didn't try anything except for the fish, which was recommended to us by some natives. We had the "famous fish sandwich" and the oyster sandwich, which we both agreed that the oyster sandwich was better! Both were delicious though, and huge! Definitely split the sandwich if you are visiting with someone! Sweet tea was awesome, very sweet. Cole slaw was sweet (which I like), it was good but I've had better. It is what it is. I enjoyed what I ordered, which was the world famous fish sandwich, and there was enough leftover for a homeless man outside to have a bit as well. My boyfriend had the oyster sandwich, which wasn't that great, probably because oysters haven't been very good this year.
