Finally decided to try out WHAAM Burger!! I downloaded the app (Clover) which was awesome!! Through Clover you can order your food and customize your order, place order and pay for your order, which I did! I placed order when we got there since we were looking for an empty table outside and luckily both tables were empty. After I placed order the app said pick up in 20 minutes, which we ordered a single WHAAM burger with American cheese, onions, tomato, pickles and WHAAM sauce with tater tots. My husband ordered 2 double hamburgers with ATW and jalapeños. My burger was great!! As was the crispy tater tots!! My husband said his burgers were good and very juicy! Next time we will come back after the pier is done, great view of the ocean but very noisy and that was at dinner time. read more

We placed a carry out order tonight. The young girl who answered the phone was very upbeat and friendly! The double Wham Burger and fish sandwich were excellent! Onion rings and fries were perfect! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to see that their website has incorrect pricing. Large Onion rings were listed for $8, but we were charged $10. Additionally, my husband, who is handicapped, had a very hard time trying to get past a large group of kids hanging out in front of the entrance. They wouldn't move to allow my husband to enter the door. He had to force his way past the kids and around a young man's outstretched legs who was sitting at a table outside. Stopped in for lunch on a beautiful afternoon in Flagler Beach. Our experience was wonderful - Whaam Burger is a true gem! Upon walking in, we were met with 80's music, old-school video games, and very colorful artwork. Such a cool vibe! You go up to the counter to order - the hostess will bring food to your table when it's ready. We opted for a couple double Whaam Burgers with fries, and an order of 5-piece chicken strips with fries. They were fast - 10 minutes and our food was ready! Tater tots were amazing, I'm picky about tots and am normally not a fan of them at places but these were great. Whaam fries were phenomenal! Super cool atmosphere. The ambience is 80s style accompanied with nice music, not too loud at all. And, they have arcade games to play. Super chill and fun with all the colors. Drove down from Jacksonville to try out this UFO burger. Essentially a loaded double cheese burger, wrapped in a tortilla and topped with cheese and grilled. It definitely hit the spot. The fries were piping hot and fresh. Overall, this is a great burger joint. They also offer fish sandwiches, loaded hot dogs and milk shakes as well. There are a few pinball machines and arcade games. If this was in Jacksonville, I would frequent at least once a month. Bravo! Wife is an In-N-Out fan. Well, she said the Wham (OG) burger she had was better than In-N-Out. I had the same in a double. Fries and tots were on point. Customer service--excellent. Best burger we've had yet in Flagler County, and we've tried quite a few. Others have been good, but this is the style of burger we like. Fries which is ground up wham patty, grilled onions, cheese, and wham sauce. A huge serving for $7.99! The service was quick and made to order at anytime of day you stop by. While waiting for my order, I love to play the pin ball machines. What a classic of pin balls and burger joint. Before I know it, my order was ready. The smell was intoxicating. It's been quite some time since my last visit to Whaam Burger (pre-CoVid). So, I thought I'd stop by since my mom lives in Flagler Beach and I was making my weekly visit to see her. This place has always had decent food, simple menu, fun atmosphere with some retro pinball and video game machines in residence, along with some kitschy pop-art on the walls. They have a nice view of the beachfront walk and the dress in typical beach-casual, so expect a very laid back and average sound level place to eat. They have inside and outside seating, first-come, first-serve. Impression today, I walked in and smiled at the girl behind the counter and said hello while grabbing a menu to see what I wanted. The girl didn't so much as crack a smile, say hello or otherwise acknowledge my existence. Thinking she was distracted, I said "hi" again and still blank (millennial?) stare. Staff and management would go a long way to just get a cordial greeting out, smile and make guests feel welcome. Anyway, I decided on the chili cheese dog with an individual or single order of shoe-string potatoes with a bottled beverage. They sell Nathan's hotdogs, so it is hard to go wrong. Service was fairly fast, brought to my seating area in less than 5 minutes. Pretty good since they had a fairly decent amount of people. The chili dog was good, not great, but only $4 with the cheese and it was grilled nicely. The chili was also relatively good, not too runny or sloppy, though a bit sweet for my personal taste. But, chili on a dog or otherwise is kind of subjective anyway. The chili temperature was appropriate and it didn't offend. The big surprise was the order of shoe-string potatoes (fries). The were okay, nothing special at all, but the amount was about the same as you would get in any small kid-sized paper container of fries at fast food joint and they cost $4 as well! Really, $4 for a tiny handful of probably frozen fries? I should have looked at the price first, but my fault for not checking. Pleasantly, the bottle drink add-on was only 75-cents, a nice surprise and they do have a pretty good selection of unique beverages. So, final verdict? Would I go back? Well, really I had a craving for their sister store right next door at A1A Burrito Works, but they were closed for fumigation, so that's how I ended up at Whaam Burgers. Incidentally, they both offer UFO's, but of course they differ quite a bit in mission. In short, if I am craving a chili dog and am in the area and feel like dealing with the parking and traffic and soulless stare of the millennial behind the counter, I might go again in a year or so. But, there are so many places (like A1A Burrito Works) to try in Flagler Beach that are far more culinary experiences. read more

This place is very cool. Decorated with bright colors an cool pictures. The food here is great an well as customer service. It's in as you walk in you're greeted with a smile and how are you doing today. They offer a selection of hamburgers and Nathan's hotdogs which are very good, chicken and fish sandwiches and what the Philly sandwich. The hotdogs are sliced then grilled which I loved an the buns are also grilled which give them a nice crunch. you can also get the meals with crimes or tater tot's and make it a combo.
