When I asked about it, the server explained that they don't steam crab or shrimp in Old Bay, despite agreeing to that when I ordered, and that the platters rely on butter for flavor, which was disappointing for a $40-$50 dish. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my mother did enjoy her lobster platter. That said, her lobster was absolutely swimming in butter and Old Bay--not lightly drizzled as the menu implies--and it felt like butter was the main source of flavor rather than an enhancement. The server even mentioned how much butter the restaurant goes through in a day, which reinforced that this is their primary approach to seasoning.
