The moment I stepped in to this place I thought I was in Ireland. The decor and atmosphere are very realistic. The menu has a great selection of Irish and local favorites. We had 2 hostesses get our table ready (party of six) and they made sure we were all comfortable. All the adults had fish and chips so I can't comment on different entree's. I will say mine was very good and I heard no complaints from anyone. Also the Guinness was very refreshing....lol Give this Irish Pub and Restaurant a try! read more

Very good Irish pub food, we ordered the chicken pot pie, Philly cheese steak egg rolls, Guinness stout beef stew in bread bowl. Everything was tasty, but I wanted to mention the service. Our waitress (forgot to get her name) was so sweet! It was my son's birthday but he didn't want any desert. She came out with ice cream and a birthday candle anyways! Definitely would go back. Very good shepherds pie: corn carrots and peas. What struck me was the generosity of the meat relative to potatoes in the pie. My wife ordered a Cobb salad with chicken, and she was very impressed. They set it up very nicely, and she liked all the little pieces. My friend ordered the burger, and said it was perfectly cooked. Very tasty. Worth noting, is the excellent craft beer selection. They had my favorite IPA, Fiddlehead. But also a great selection of craft beers. read more

The service was impeccable there. The hostess and the waitresses we had the two times we went were very friendly and got our orders perfect. My friend and I both ordered the pub pastry, which is like a turkey dinner. The best turkey dinner I've ever had. They have the turkey shredded up with stuffing rolled into a flaky, delicious pastry served with Golden Yukon mashed potatoes and a garden mix of zucchini, squash, and carrots. They give you a side of gravy and whole cranberry sauce. Of course I asked for more gravy and they graciously brought it out steaming hot. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Typical Irish Decore and we were lucky enough to sit each time in what I call the Kennedy corner. The second time we were there, we decided to get the Irish nachos with chili and split it as our meal. I asked the waitress to bring the chili in separate bowls while they divvy up the nachos and chili and we ended up with an overflowing plate for each of us!! read more

My husband, 2 little boys and I came on a Sunday night because we were staying at the Margaritaville and the hotel restaurant was understaffed and couldn't accommodate us. At 8pm, most of the other restaurants in the area were closed too, aside from fast food. The owner or manager was so welcoming and kind. He had the kitchen stay open a little later for us, not one single staff member made us feel guilty about it. Working in restaurants, I know how annoying those last minute customers are. The food came out super quick and was delicious. Everything was very fresh and homemade. My crispy chicken sandwich was hand breaded and super crispy. My Guinness came with a clover in the foam!. This was a fun Irish establishment! Right across the street from Torino. Decided to have a piping hot delicious crock of French Onion Soup and a beer. The Bartender was attentive, the Owner was welcoming and the crowd was friendly. For a girl who likes her Irish pubs, I really enjoyed this one. Locals and tourists trickled in and out, the bartender was making mixed drinks to specifications, and it was a fun crowd. Highly recommend for a comfortable evening atmosphere. Great dining and drinking experience. BBC is gone but luckily the Auld Triangle is here now. My friends and I got the Pasty, the Shepard pie, and the corned beef sandwich. The guineas draft was poured proper and tasted fresh. The owners visited our table and were very welcoming and gracious and our waitress Erin was also great. The food tasted phenomenal! We smashed every last bite and got some Tullamore and hot coffee afterwards. Only thing I would change is a thicker cut on the corned beef, hence the 4 stars. Will definitely be back! read more

August review- We came in and we were hungry and ordered Fish & Chips. Food was delightful as were the drinks and entertainment (No cover charge). Met the owner & his wife and you are treated great here like family. Live entertainment and a jam session took place on this Weds but we enjoyed the atmosphere so much we returned Thursday night as well. I highly recommend this place whether a local or passing thru. RAW CHICKEN TENDERS! Just went in for a quick bite before going grocery shopping. Ordered iced tea, clam chowder, and fried chicken tenders. Everything was fine till I got the chicken tenders- I bit into one and it was weird, spongy grizzle. I bit into a second one and it was completely raw inside (see picture). I immediately went to the bathroom to throw up. The waitress was nice and very apologetic, and got the manager who came out to tell me the bill (for my cup of chowder and Iced tea) had been taken care of. She then went on to tell me that "It's just Sunday" as if that's an excuse to serve raw chicken to guests. I guess she was implying that Sundays they don't have good people in the kitchen...? But here's a wild idea... If you don't have qualified cooks to work on Sunday THEN DONT SERVE FOOD ON SUNDAY. She then asked me to give them another chance- which will not happen. I will be reporting them to the board of health. If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT risk your well-being by eating here. read more

I came to the Auld Triangle for my 21st birthday celebration and I had a blast! The service, food, and drinks were fantastic, and I could even split the G, on the first try perfectly! They have the best Guinness in the States! I recommend trying the Southern Fried chicken sandwich, it is the perfect mix of spicy and savory, and is a very generous portion! And it took awhile . The fish and chips are absolutely delicious. The cod is a large piece and is so tender and crispy. The fries are so crispy and well salted. Some of the best fish and chips on the cape, plus it's affordable. The potato skins are good, the sour cream is a little flavorless but I just used the tartar. The drinks cost a little more than some restaurants on the cape but not bad. The place is nice, especially outside when there's live music across the street. Sometimes a crack head will walk by so it's free entertainment! The owner is very nice and asked us how our food was. read more

Our first visit made this our new favorite on Cape Cod! My wife and I eat our way from Woods Hole to Provincetown every Fall on a mini vacation. The Auld Triangle has the soul and menu of a true Irish pub. Parents brought their children, the band played traditional acoustic folk with tips going to charity, and sports fans clinked mugs and renewed friendly rivalries at the bar. The staff was diverse and friendly, but the FOOD was the star. In addition to hearty Irish stew, cottage pie and bangers and mash, the chowder and fish and chips were as good as any of the more well-known spots in the area. Main Street in Hyannis is packed with tourist traps, but there's plenty of free parking in the back of the pub. We didn't discover it until the last day of our trip, or we might have been tempted to eat there every meal! read more

The Shepherds Pie was excellent and a side of real Irish curry fries is a must.
