Brendan has built an exceptional team and fostered a culture of continuous improvement that clearly prioritizes client satisfaction. We originally planned to sell our home and then rent because we didn't want the stress of juggling two closings and a move at the same time. But just one week after going under contract on our home, we found our next home. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation felt surprisingly manageable thanks to Brendan and his team's outstanding coordination and communication throughout both transactions. Since my wife and I are very detail-oriented, we appreciated thoughtful touches like dedicated text group threads for questions and updates (separate threads for selling and buying) and the weekly status reports that kept us informed throughout the entire process. Whenever challenges arose, the team either handled them proactively in our best interest or carefully walked us through our options, providing sound guidance to help us make informed decisions. We cannot recommend Brendan and the Sanford Realty Team highly enough! Their professionalism, communication, and commitment to excellence were evident from start to finish. Sanford Realty Team--Excellence right through to the end! The Best!

I…read morewas thrilled that a "Top 1%" realtor, in his own words, reached out to me, and I opted to work with him. Everything was cordial and I even used his acquaintances in San Antonio to sell my home. Everything worked well until I was put into a "folder," in Brendan's own words. I inquired about homes and the possibility of placing a contingent offer, yet I had to frequently reach out to the seller's agents myself, as Brendan often mentioned that I was in this "folder" and he could not help me. It is pure speculation; however, I believe that he was holding back the sale of my home, as we heard from another agent that there was an offer on our home, but his acquaintances didn't relay this to us. Also, a contingent offer we put on a house in Austin, TX, received two other offers after sitting dormant on the market for months after we bid on it. Whether or not this was the Sanford team's doing, we felt uneasy about doing business with Brendan's team. We eventually fired Brendan for his lack of help and obvious racial bias. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are not in the top 1% as it seems that is all Brendan caters to.

For over a year, Gary stayed in continual contact with us and was extremely responsive and flexible when scheduling multiple showings. Their search engine criteria often helped to find properties prior to MLS listings, which was very valuable in some of the highly sought-after neighborhoods of Austin. Over this prolonged period of searching and showings, he never once pressured us into a situation that wasn't the best fit. He even saved us from making an offer on a listing that had some major issues that were not evident without some significant investigating. We were extremely grateful for that and knew that he had the best intentions at heart for our family. Once the right house came along, Gary and his team moved fast and efficiently. They streamlined everything from all of the inspection appointments to negotiations. He often worked really long hours to personally make sure that everything within his power was being done the right way to move the sale along, even over the holiday season. We closed on our house and couldn't be more grateful for the amazing experience we had with the Gentry Group. In fact, they still stay in regular contact and have provided helpful tips and guides as we settle in to the new house. I consider Gary a true professional and friend, and I would highly recommend the Gentry Group for any of your real estate needs. I definitely would use their superb services again if needed in the future!

Despite the hopes and excitement, finding the right house in Austin was quite a challenge. Three months into the search, my wife and I still didn't feel like we knew the area enough to make the right choice. Inventory seemed low and houses were often sold before being on the market. We were very fortunate to meet Mel, Gary, and the team during our search. With years of experience, the Gentry team knew each street and corners of Austin neighborhoods. Gary also knew many of the listing agents and it was visible during open houses. Everyone in the team was personable and easy to relate to. Mel once told us "You'll know it when you see the right house". We found ourselves reminding each other that phrase over and over during the search process. Fast forward 60 days, we closed on the first house that we made the offer to. We called it a miracle because it was a highly competitive, multiple offer situation. Gary coached us in every possible dimension to make the offer attractive. In the final hours, the team moved fast and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to zero in on the negotiations. During the option period, Claire streamlined everything from inspection, contractor bids, to repair negotiations. We were very impressed with her attention to detail and subject expertise on a variety of topics. She made sure the burden of stressful communication is off our shoulders. We don't know any other agents in Austin area. But I am not sure if other teams could have made this deal happen. We recommend Gentry group for those who want to find a realtor that genuinely cares about your house search journey. They are equipped to support you both professionally and emotionally in such times of tough real estate landscape.

Both Gina and Mike were very patient and took the time to walk the entire property with us giving us ideas on how to make the house presentable inside and out.
