I was impressed with the knowledge, inventory, and experience of my apartment hunter, Rich because he knew where I would like based on my criteria. He lead me to three different places and we both agreed the first one he showed me was the one. However, I appreciated his willingness to show me personally what was available and his input after we visited each. Now to see if the place I really like accepts me!:) It's nice to work with someone with a similar sensibility of what is nice in a place and a willingness to deal with my being picky about what I want. There are so many places in Austin with bad reviews for pests, crime, and bad management, it's great when you have a guide to help sift out the good from the bad. read more

The company started out being responsive and then quit. He NEVER showed me an apartment and then pulled the "im a Christian Card" when a deal fell through he never followed through despite texting he would. I found another rental company that actually spoke to me on the phone and took me to several properties. After he hooks you with initial contact you lose him. Find someone whose arrogance is replaced with ambition! Hes all about minimum work with maximum pay! This is an update they asked me if im African American? His latest text is threatening to contact my employer and call "The authorities". For harrassment when i told him i was going to post a review on yelp. Yet, he hasnt blocked me...? Another update After posting this, a representative reached out, took accountability, and extended a sincere apology for how the situation was handled. While the initial experience was incredibly stressful, I appreciate the professional follow-up to resolve the matter." read more

Apartments HERE! - Apartment Agents Near Me - Austin, Texas

They could not find me an apartment despite me having great rental history. All they sent was apartments that they earned high commission on. One of the agents here who I got to know told me that their system is similar to MLS for homes but it lists apartments based on criteria that the agent inputs and certain apartments pay them higher commissions than others (And those are the ones they send you and try to get you to apply to) That's why the service is "free". They will just try to get you to apply to the high commission ones. Do not trust these people. I found an apartment on my own in 48 hours. Apartments are running specials most of the time anyway. They may try to deny it but friend I talk to even showed me the screenshot of their apartment search database. read more

I had been working with an agent from another locator company for about a month and had given all the necessary information needed such as, employment status, income, rental history, and credit standing. Even with this information, I was being led to properties that were out of my league at the moment. With the clock ticking down, I was desperately looking for someone who could help. Someone knowledgeable about what direction I needed to go in. I turned to Google and it gave me Lisa Victorian! This lady is EVERYTHING!! She contacted me back promptly and gave me maybe 3 places to consider and I picked one, applied, and was approved! What took almost a month with someone else and no success, she made it happen in a few days. Top notch service!! I will use her and recommend her time and time again!! Thank you so much Lisa read more

Our apartment hunter literally did nothing. He didn't even show to the walk through of the apartments

Moving to another state can be scary, but luckily we drove by this place our second week in Austin. The following week we walked in and a gentleman by the name of Rich assisted us. He was professional, friendly and extremely insightful. The atmosphere was welcoming and non-pressure. Rich was able to accommodate our needs and land us in an excellent spot after communicating with the management personally to speed up the process. Cheers! read more

I called, spoke with someone, explain my situation (I literally I will be homeless with my children, because of the toxic environment that is this house.. He said "oh, yeah, I can definitely help you out. As soon as we get off the phone I'll text you my info. Never heard anything back. If you can't help just say that. I'd rather you be honest than me wait around all day just to be let down. read more

I have worked with Lisa Victorian for years. I lost my job and was behind on rent. Not to mention I had breast cancer for 3 years. I get military disability and she knows that. I just got a job working making 15.00$ an hour. I've been interviewing and doing my very best to find something else. She personal attacked me and is obviously hating life. She said, YOUR making 15$ an hour, I can go down to Dairy Queen and make more money than that. Oh and since when we're You in the military? WOW...unreal..I will never go to this place again and will advise anyone who is in a situation to not waste their time. They won't help you. So unprofessional not to mention personally attacked and discriminated against. read more

I came across this company because of somebody else's review, so I thought I would pass it on. My experience was great. My agent was Rebecca, and she was perfect for me. I gave her a list of what was important for me and she narrowed down my search tremendously. Even at that point, I just straight up asked her, what her opinion was, and she gave it to me. I ended leasing an apartment sight unseen, and it ended up being exactly what I expected. I'm so close to work, and everything I need is within a few minutes drive. Rebecca has even done a few follow up calls with me to check and see if I was happy, and how I was acclimating to the area. If you are moving to austin, I would definitely use Apartments Here!, and hopefully you get Rebecca as well. read more

Rebecca Pinkard is awesome! When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, she had done her homework and was absolutely ready for me! We visited briefly in her office before heading out. She was fairly certain I would love the first place on the list and she was 100% spot on! I put in my application that very day and moved in a week later! And I love it here! I was moving away from a negative apartment experience and so utilizing an experienced apartment locator who knew the apartment complexes in my target area was vital. Everything Rebecca told me in our search has proven true. I am so grateful to have had her wealth of knowledge and experience to guide me! read more

This place is the worst! I called to seek help in finding help for an apartment, seemed like the guy I was talking to was on meth! He was really hyper! Didn't answer anything I asked him, got an attitude when I asked him questions about finding a place. Sounded like he hated life, he should find another career! Helping individuals find a home isn't what he's meant to be doing. When he answered, their was no professional line, like most businesses. He was super rude! read more

I was stressing in search for an apartment, found Lisa Victorian on Craigslist. Sent a message and within a couple of days found a perfect place in my budget and within the area I was wanting. Great communication skills She's a blessing! Thanks again! read more

I saw a craigslist ad for a 2 bedroom apt and responded to the ad. As it was listed as a 2 bedroom, but showed the floorplan of a 1 bedroom, things were already not off to a good start. John Edward Arredondo responded to my inquiry and his response was: ""IT is a 2 bedroom.. its an apartment north off 35...But they have applications on them sorry..they went fast. I can help you out with others I know of call me when u get a min. Thanks". No suprise there, I know listing fake listings on craigslist is a commonly used trick of apartment locators to get customers. Regardless, I told him what we needed, but that I was unavailable by phone, and email would be easier for me. This is how our conversation went from there: John: OK I found some great options but we need to talk so call me when you get the chance. Thanks, Also do you work for Dell? John 512-775-4756 Me: Sorry, John, but I am indefinitely unavailable to talk by phone, so we'll have to communicate by email only. John: Not even tomorrow ** apparently John does not know the meaning of "indifinitely" ** minus 10 points for John. Me: No, sorry. I have a 2 year old that makes phonecalls quite unpleasant. John: Then I'm sry I can't help you REALLY?!?! come on guys, what the crap?! do you even really WANT customers?! Way to show your support for families! John, you suck. Apartments Here, get rid of this guy, he's killing your business! For anyone else using this company, pray you don't get John to "help" you. read more

I reached out to this apartment locator service(APARTMENTS HERE) in hopes of finding an apartment. The lady that helped me would not send anything over email and required in person meetings on Saturdays only . She would also text things like respond asap, call now, C U in 10. I met with her on a Saturday and she immediately listed properties I would not be interested in despite me sending a list of properties and detailing my preferences. I explained the area I wanted and that I had a budget of 2000 I'd like to stay under but am flexible, she then had a list of properties all above 2k some as high as 2500. She complained that I needed to work with her as far as an area or preferences. I then gave her a list of properties I researched so she would have an idea of my preferences. She then chose 3 properties and told me I either apply to one of these or I am running out of options. I reluctantly went to view the 3 she listed and did not like any of them and they were over budget. She never reached out to any properties other than giving them her contact card, she didn't review any screening criteria. I haven't had much experience with locators but when I decided that this service wasted a months time and chose to contact another locator, I was able to have a short list in my email within a few hours that the agent had already contacted the properties and reviewed screening criteria or issues that I may have with the property. I met her at noon on a Friday and was applying that Saturday and accepted that Monday. I would highly recommend choosing another more experienced apartment locator than the one that I received from Apartments Here. STAY AWAY SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY read more

A friend of mine is moving to the Austin area so after doing a lot of our own footwork and research we decided to pop in here to get some professional help on finding her a decent apartment with the amenities in the vicinity of town that she wanted to be in. We were paired up with Linda who is an awesome lady! She knows a lot of people, was very professional and helpful during our search - and took us to a lot of apartments that we didn't consider before and we ended up with some great options that we didn't have before. The day that we spent with her looking around was incredibly valuable. We are going to continue to work with her as my friend gets closer to her move date in order to secure an apartment. Thank you for everything! read more

I've used apartments here twice now. I never really knew what apartment locators did, I figured they were for people who didn't know how to find their own apartment. I never understood why people would pay money for someone to find them an apartment... Turns out it's a completely free service, and they're actually pretty awesome, well, apartments here is anyway. I was moving from San Antonio to Austin and I had no idea what areas were good, bad, average etc. I had a few specific requirements that made it a little harder than average but Apartments Here found multiple locations meeting all my requirements. It saved me a ton of time! The first apartments that I moved into that Apartments Here found were super friendly and helpful after finding out that I was using a locator. The move in special wasn't even listed at the apartment themselves and they didn't even bring it up. I was lucky I went with these guys. Saved me a ton of money. The second place was just as easy. I gave my criteria and time frame and they sent me a list of places. It really does save a ton of time and makes everything much much easier. If you're in the Austin or surrounding areas and looking for an apartment you really should look into using Apartments Here austin locators. read more

JP was my locator, and he was so kind to my daughter and I. I had began my search for our new home without a locator and found a place that I really liked. So I applied and got detained due to something I did when I was a kid. So on our way back home I noticed there sign and decided to call, and that's were I talked to JP. He asked a lot questions about me, which was unusual I felt. But he said he needed this info, so I don't waist my money by applying at another apartment that wouldn't accept me. So I answered his questions, and JP gave me a time to meet with him the next day. This review is getting long. So in short JP found me a place to call home and I couldn't be happier. read more

This place has been horrible since day one. They were supposed to put new flooring in before we moved in, but disn't. There were maggots in the carpet and they wouldn't even shampoo the carpet. There are cockroaches everywhere. If you putvin a request for an exterminator it take 3 weeks for someone to come out. They have one dumpster for the whoke complex so it is always overflowing. It's so bad that they changed the name of the apartments because of the bad reviews! Check out Residences At Onion Creek fir more horrible reviews and pics. Another month, another issue. Our refrigerator went out early Thursday morning. I put in a work request and also called and left a message on the maintenancce hotline. No one came to check on it Thursday. Friday morning put in another request. By Friday at 5pm still no response so I called. The leasing agent(Deseray) told me that all of the maintenance guys were gone until Tuesday aince its Memorial Day weekend. I told her that they have a 3 day turnaround and saturday would be 3 days. She told me that if I disn't like it I coul put in my 60 day notice and move. She us always hateful and disrespectful. She could care less if we have small children. We have to put up with cockroaches, drug dealers, filth, hateful managers and no respect. Don't move here! read more

Chelsey is a Godsend!!! I absolutely love working with her - I've been working with locators and real estate agents and what really sets her apart is the personal comments she leaves next to the apartments (i.e letting me know her thoughts on the location, how updated the apartments look on the inside) the timeliness, format of the spreadsheet (which thank goodness includes details like features and overall monthly pricing and is not just a lengthy list of data) and overall friendliness. You can honestly tell she cares and that's probably one of the best feelings to have working with someone. I can't rave about her enough - 10/10 will be recommending all my family and friends to this service! Ps. The IG page actually provides funny AND useful information which is always a win in my book so shout out to whoever is managing it! read more

Rebecca Pinkard was more than happy to help me find an apartment that was not only was to move into, but meets all of my needs. Lisa Victorian was an incredible locator for our move to Austin. We were coming from out of state and felt really stressed out by all the choices and she helped us find an incredible apartment we moved into today. She kept everything not only on budget but UNDER budget and we got an apartment we hadn't even dreamed we'd be able to afford. All of the options she showed us were incredible we had such a hard time choosing, but with those options no decision would've been wrong. Thank you so much Lisa! Lisa Victorian, LISA VICTORIAN! The reviews don't lie; she is PHENOMENAL at her craft! What separates Lisa from any other locator is her ability to decipher personality traits from your conversations/list of requirements and match them with a dwelling that complements you beyond what you even initially thought of; I joked with my friends that she is the 'match.com' of apartment locators. It goes without saying, but I'll still say it, she is able to accomplish this while staying within/under budget, and with maximum efficiency; you won't be driving around all of Austin touring properties, because she refines her recommendations to a select few and I can personally vouch that you'll be ready to sign after viewing the first one. Overall, my experience with Lisa was phenomenal, and she has made my relocation to Austin an exciting and stress-free one.
