Mike does it all at Atlas Realty! He is professional, an expert, pressure free, to the point, genuine, prompt at returning calls, emails or even text messages. I think he eats, breathes and sleeps real estate! We went with Mike because of his proven track record and his down to earth personality. There is no over the top fake excited real estate agent in this man. We were first time home buyers and Mike had all the answers and helped us through every step of the way. He even was able to suggest the local mortgage lenders and inspectors that have proven to exhibit the same ethical, no nonsense, prompt work ethic. He had our best interest at heart. His home search engine was able to keep me up to date on every house that came on market within specs I gave him. Thanks Mike! Proud Hutto home owner read more

Without a doubt, the Austin market is competitive. Home buying isn't very fun (for most people). Mike was able to help in purchasing what I wanted. His calm attitude and advice for many scenarios helped my wife and me stay patient and perseverant. If you want someone who's not always just thinking about how much of the cut they're going to get, this is your guy! read more

I recently had to sell my house as part of a divorce. Due to that and other extenuating circumstances, I wasn't able to do most of what people do when they're going to sell a house: spruce it up, make repairs, stage it, etc. Additionally, our closing needed to incorporate elements of the divorce. So, definitely not a standard real estate transaction. Mike's professionalism, friendliness, and calm demeanor helped to make a difficult time a bit less difficult. Our house sold quickly and for a fair price. read more

Mike's a good guy who knows his stuff. He was always on time to showings and made sure I was kept in the loop through the entire process. As mentioned in another review, he does have a "know it all" approach, but I didn't find this to be a bad thing. Off the top of his head, he was able to give me rough estimates on general fixes around the house. He respected my "bottom line" in negotiating repairs in the option period and effectively communicated my reasoning behind each request. To anyone looking for a solid realtor who's willing to go the extra mile, give Mike a call. You'll later be watching House Hunters and realize your realtor is famous. I sure did. read more

Hey, fellow Yelper Nation! If you are looking for some help managing, selling or even looking for a place... Look no further, they are it! It has been truly a pleasure to do business with this super duo of A+ Realtors and all the team that makes Atlas realty. I had to move 6 hours away from ATX :/ boo! Anyways, I thought I wouldn't need the help of an expert since I had e.v.e.r.y.thing under control. Sound familiar?? Well, I was very wrong. Shortly after I moved, I started having problems with my renters and it became a huge inconvenience. I thought I would save some money by doing it myself...only if I had known about Atlas... they have very reasonable rates and they take such good care of you without having to set foot in their office ever!... I wish I could go back in time. I would have saved myself from the oh so many headaches. But, lucky you! You know about them! So, give them a call, text or email. Talk about being at right place, at the right time. Thank God for that! So, this is it! You have arrived. Mike, Kat and their whole team have been a blessing! They are very accommodating and so quick to reply and start fixing all the wrongs. They walked me through the whole process via emails and phone calls. They took care of getting the renters out in no time, l.o.v.e.d it! Once vacant, they sent their team of experts to fix, beautify, and get rid of the trash. But, even better, when I decided to sell, they had a perfect buyer in a matter of hours! You want experience? They've got it. Right connections? Check. Resources and information? A well of it. No pushy, patient and positive attitude? Yes! What more can you ask for? Waste no time. They have an answer for all your questions or they will go find one for you with the best disposition and professionalism. read more

Just completed another deal with Mike. We sold our home for top dollar with all the terms we wanted and no hassles. I have used Mike for several sales and purchases and each time I felt like we got the best deal available. Thanks again Mike! read more

Mike is well known as one of the very best agents in Austin. I almost want to buy another house so I can work with him again. Every person I worked with through the entire process raved about Mike, and one person told me that she knows thousands of agents and chose Mike to represent her own parents. Early in the process, I happened to visit a house that was going to go quickly. In my ignorance, I asked the agent there to put in an offer. Then I learned this meant Mike probably would not get any reward on this deal. Mike tried to contact the other agent, and then told me not to worry about it. He said I shouldn't miss this opportunity just so he would get paid. That deal didn't go through and I came back to Mike. His combination of integrity and expertise was gold through the entire house buying process. read more

I had an excellent experience buying my first home with Mike. I had a low budget in this Austin market, so it was a bit of a challenge finding a home. Many of the houses we looked at were in very rough shape, and Mike was very knowledgeable and always gave an honest opinion on the condition of the home. When I did make an offer on the home Mike did an excellent job handling the negotiations, and was able to gt the seller to agree for my original offer. Mike walked me through the process of buying my first home step by step, and I would highly recommend him. read more

We finally got settled into our new home and thanks to Mike, the entire process was smooth. Perhaps the greatest compliment we can pay Mike is repeat business. This is the my third home purchase with Mike and I will use him again. Mike is personable, quite witty, highly intelligent - especially about the industry, punctual, professional, and unlike any other agent I have worked with in my life, Mike has never rushed me. He also is quite good at not only estimating the cost of home improvements but at explaining how the work would be done. read more

Mike was really amazing in helping my wife and I find a house in Austin. As an out-of-towner, he really listened to what our wish list was so he could suggest different properties to see. Mike is very professional and always make good suggestions! He is responsive on all of our questions! He is very patient when viewing the houses! He also introduced us a quality home inspection. We were first time home buyers, and Mike made the process so much easier. He was very accessible to us and answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of questions. Even during quarantine, he went above and beyond to help us and guide us through the process. We appreciated his valuable and practical advice. He pointed out things in some homes that we wouldn't have caught. We appreciate that he was trustworthy and dependable. We would recommend Mike to anyone looking to purchase a home. read more

We just bought our first house, and were lucky to have Mike on our team. People kept telling me that the whole process would be a nightmare, but it never happened! He was very laid-back when showing houses and would let us largely form our own opinions. When we called him after viewing an open house we loved, he quickly helped us form a plan of action and basically sealed the deal for us in a couple of days. He was constantly in touch with our lender and the title company, and everything went through smoothly. He even sent our Redfin refund check to our new house (I had completely forgotten to ask for the refund that you can apply for if you found the listing through that site). My advice would be to follow Mike's advice. He always did his best to help us come to the right decisions. read more

I was interested in a town home they were leasing in Kyle, but after the run around they put me through I'm kind of glad it was already taken. I called their office to find out about the property and no one there knew anything about it. They said "let me give you two numbers to try of the two girls that might be dealing with that property". The first girl I called didn't answer and her voicemail was had no identifying information (very unprofessional, just a computer saying "512-xxx-xxxx is not available beep"). I called the next girl and she answered her phone but didn't know anything about the property. She gave me a lot of unnecessary information about how she couldn't help me at the moment because her laptop was at her house, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She told me she would call me back to set up a time to look at the property. When she called back it wasn't to set up a showing it was to ask me how to spell the name of the street the property is on!! I couldn't believe that . Then she called me back to say the property was taken. It took me over an hour and multiple phone calls to find that out. This business seems very unprofessional so I would warn anyone about to do business with them to proceed with caution! read more

As first-time home owners, we were extremely lucky to have Mike Minns from Atlas Realty as our realtor. He was always fast in responding our requests, thorough in answering our many, many questions, and patient in handling all those overwhelming errands. He never forgot about a thing and was ahead of us in dealing with all issues in every step of the purchasing process. Since we were out of town, Mike went out of his way to accommodate with our crazy schedules and put together a bunch of video tours. We highly recommend him, for he's a diligent, trust-worthy realtor who has the customer's interest at heart. read more

Mike helped us find a great property. He was super responsive--properties are moving so fast in the Austin market, and he set us up to view properties at very short notice. He was not high-pressure in any way, but he also did not hesitate to point out issues he saw with the properties we looked at, which I found extremely helpful. He also did lots of little incidental things to help us close our deal. We're very happy with our property and can't wait to move in. I've recommended Mike to friends in the market for a home and I plan to do so again. read more

Thanks to Mike, we found the perfect property and snatched it right away! Always tactful, respectful, helpful, and just a pleasure to work with! Would have given him 10 stars, if I could! read more

Would never consider using Mike Minns as a realtor. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and condescending. In short time, he manages to upset people with his "know it all" approach. Sad combination of skills for a salesman. read more

We've bought and sold eight houses over the years. Working with Mike on our latest purchase was without question the most enjoyable home-buying experience we've ever had. Mike is exceptionally knowledgable about the Austin market, building construction, and legal issues, and he guided us through the offer-and-negotiations process with clarity, efficiency, and good humor. From the first home showing to the close, we felt confident that he had our best interests at heart and was fully invested in helping us find our "dream home." We couldn't have had a more positive experience with Mike and Kat. We were primarily house hunting and buying from out of state. We know Austin well, but couldn't be there for all the details. Mike and his team have A+ service . They worked with our in-town friend to shop for houses and be our liasion. When the closing started to look like it was in jeopardy, Mike was timely and provided excellent follow-up with all parties involved. He is also very responsive to all questions/inquiries we had.I'm very grateful we chose Mike and happy that we got the house we wanted. read more

Mike Minns of Atlas Realty is the greatest realtor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mike is sincere, honest and dependable. Mike showed my wife and I 20+ homes over the course of 5 or 6 weeks until we found the right one. When we did find the one, it was a new construction home and Mike was there every step of the way (7 months). Mike helped us pick out our options, he met the construction crew when we were unable to make it to a meeting, he even did a walk through for us to ensure we didn't miss anything. Mike is an incredible person and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Mike Minns for helping a first time home buyer have such a positive and memorable experience. read more

Oh you mean the Godfather of Austin Real Estate? Mike Minns, yeeeeah he's the real deal. I am a recent transplant to Austin and currently looking to purchase my First home here. I went with Mike based on the stellar reviews on Redfin https://www.redfin.com/real-estate-agents/mikeminns#client_types=past_buyers~past_sellers~current_sellers~other&property_types=house~condo~townhome~multi_family~land~other&min_price=0&max_price=no_max&date_range=last_2_years&ratings=1~2~3~4~5~unrated. The QUALITY of reviews, the QUANTITY of reviews, and the FREQUENCY of the reviews lead me to believe that I'm going with the right guy; finally, experiencing his lightning fast responsiveness and top-notch service only validated this claim. I have yet to find the right home due to Austin's hypercompetitive market, but honestly, I only started aggressively looking just 2 weeks ago. One deal fell through already due to inspection which had nothing to do with Mike's service. Mike's team of professionals was super helpful finding structural and foundation issues of the house before we did anything stupid like actually go through with the purchase haphazardly. Dodged THAT bullet! You would think he would push to sell us that property considering how eager we were to buy it regardless of all the hidden issues. Noope! Mike is more concerned with getting you in the right home instead of a commission. He doesn't sugar coat anything nor downplay the cost of future repairs just so he can convince you to sign off on one of the biggest purchases of your life. That's not the type of service you will get. That's because he's more of a guide than a salesman. And a very good and responsive guide at that! He was responding to all our inquiries before, during, and after surgery! What you'll get is someone who prioritizes customer service--above all else. Throughout the entire process Mike was ridiculously patient. Never putting his two-cents in unless we asked him. So I highly encourage you to ask him anything. He's truly passionate about Austin and knowledgeable about trending neighborhoods and value-based neighborhoods--where they are and where they are heading. We never felt pressured to buy. If anything, he steered us away from money pits since he knew how much the immediate necessary repairs were going to cost and how that would affect us financially--short-term and long-term. It's easy to get caught up in Sale Price and lose site of the costs of the needed repairs. And if you are buying an older home in Austin (1970's) expect to budget for foundation repairs on top of that price. With Mike, he pretty much knows how much something is going to cost to fix since he too is a real estate investor in the Austin market. He'll give a a ball-park number for you to consider, and if he can't, he'll refer you to quality affordable contractors. His estimates are pretty spot-on. I value this the most about his service. He's a Real Estate Agent/Property Inspector/Real Estate investor/Good Person rolled up in one. He's never asked us to sign an Exclusive Buyer's Agent agreement, but he doesn't need to. He's our guy. And we'll be referring him to all are family and friends. I'll update this post once we have successfully closed with Mike just to give further insight into the service he provides. In the meantime, Happy House Hunting, yall! read more

As you all may (or may not) know, real estate in Austin is moving fast! I started passively looking in January and after watching prices accelerate, realized I needed to take the dive. Mike was a valuable resource! After submitting a few contracts and getting out-bid by everyone else, he helped me structure a deal that got me my new place. He always made sure to give advice without being pushy and when I felt unsure, asked pointed questions to help me make a decision. He was also able to make good recommendations for other needed vendors (mortgage brokers, inspectors, contractors, etc). In the end, no one can tell you whether or not house X is a good or bad purchase, it's all about you and what you want - it's great to have a realtor who understands that. Thanks Mike! read more

We received excellent service from Mike Minns. He gave us good advice and showed good judgement throughout the sales process. He helped us set a competitive sale price for our property, he sent us regular feedback after showings, and he always responded efficiently and appropriately to inquiries from prospective buyers. Mike was also consistently prompt in responding to our emails, which was especially important because we live a long way from Austin. We were very satisfied with negotiations Mike conducted on our behalf with the couple who purchased the property. He communicated everything clearly, and he was always sure to get our input before responding to any query. Last but certainly not least the time elapsed between the first open house in late June and the offer we accepted was barely two weeks. read more

I just recently closed on a duplex. Mike was the best agent I could possibly have had. I've never purchased before, so there were many things I did not understand. Mike was patient and answered my questions. He also did not push me into anything. I can truly say that the choice was mine, without any pressure from him, although he gave me advice when I asked directly. But only then. Also, in the negotiation part, he really got me through that because I lacked understanding in some parts and became angry enough to walk away in others. I recommend him without reservation and I'll use him for future purchases. read more

About a year ago, I was interested in investment property and found Mike Minns. Through the entire process Mike was extremely patient, very reassuring and thoroughly knowledgeable. He gently steered me toward the best value and advised me in terms that not only made complete sense, but were most financially adventageous. I recommended him to a close friend a few months later and my friend raved about the good service and personal attention he received from Mike.
