Dana is truly a gem. She is very knowledgable herself, but also has the remarkable ability to get questions answered in a prompt, accurate and reassuring manner. She anticipates issues and is prepared to offer sensible solutions. Dana made the home buying process an easy, comfortable experience. Since we were coming from out of state, she made sure we understood the different areas around Austin and what made sense for our particular needs. Her recommended inspectors and vendors were top-notch in all respects. And to add a cherry on top, she is the sweetest person you will ever meet. If any of our friends or family ever need the services of a real estate agent, I will only recommend Dana because I can't imagine a better choice. She has earned our business forever. read more

Dana is the definition of professional. Dana helped with both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our existing home. In a competitive Seller's market, it takes a knowledgeable and skilled real estate professional to actually have an offer accepted when purchasing and to maximize the sales price when selling. Dana checked all of those boxes and more. We put our trust in Dana and she delivered. Dana patiently accompanied us on multiple weekends to tour countless homes. When it came time to make an offer, Dana knew what it took to have our offer accepted. But her work didn't stop there. She continued to check in throughout the process up until the day of closing. She checked on the inspection, followed up with the seller and the title company, stayed on top of our lender, and accompanied us on the final walk-through. Dana also knew exactly what it took to sell our home for the highest price possible. She helped us decide on what repairs and improvements to make before the sale. She knew exactly how to price the home and helped us sort through the offers (all over the asking price) when we went under contract (in only a few days). She did her best to make sure the home appraised high enough for the buyer and otherwise made the closing very easy. Buying and selling a home is stressful. Working with a professional like Dana ensured it didn't become more stressful than it had to be. Thank you Dana! read more

Dana Epstein came to us as a referral from friends, and we couldn't have asked for a better realtor! Dana was extremely responsive, was not afraid to rattle cages when things were due or needed urgent attention from others, and answered every question I had along the way (I have a LOT of questions... my husband says that I have a problem... but I question that assessment) 100% recommend Dana !! read more

Dana is a fantastic realtor; we highly recommend her. When we first met Dana, we were out-of-town buyers looking for a second home in Austin. A local friend referred us to Dochen Realtors, and we were paired with Dana. The entire process up to the point of inspection was handled over the phone, without ever meeting in person. Dana did all the groundwork for us - including touring listings we were considering and taking videos for us. That she cheerfully invested her time with us, without having met us, really speaks to her work ethic, dedication, and positive attitude. Unlike some agents, Dana was never pushy, always responsive, and gave honest feedback based on expert, local knowledge. And, she does not disappear after the purchase is made. She continues to be accessible and willing to assist with local referrals or other real estate inquiries. We have made many property transactions over the years and worked with many different agents; Dana is among the best. She is our go-to agent in Austin! read more

As soon as you meet Dana, you will know why she is the right real estate agent for you. She is easy to talk to and while she gets to know you, she builds a picture of the type of home you are looking for. She loves what she does and has a passion for finding homes which pays off for you as a customer. We have found her to be real estate savvy, and her understanding of the market has been spot on. She will represent your interests with so much gusto, you kind of feel sorry for the other agents because Dana has a way of getting what's best for her clients. She can also provide excellent recommendations for places of interest (ie. where to eat, explore, etc) and as an added bonus, she has a great sense of humor (and her yard signs are fun, too!). We will definitely use Dana again in the future. read more

The home buying process is stressful. Particularly in a hyper competitive market like Austin. So many realtors hold themselves out at knowledgeable, professional, and responsive, but very few actually embody those qualities. But Dana does. We started the home buying process in early 2021 and we're very picky in a seller's market where we had no business being that picky. Despite our slow moving ignorance, Dana stuck with us each step of the way. She picked up the phone each time we called and scheduled upwards of 30 home tours during the 8 or so months that we worked with her. She didn't miss a beat. When we finally had an offer accepted, Dana worked tirelessly to ensure that all of our concerns were addressed. She went above and beyond recommending inspections and tests which we never would have thought to obtain without her guidance. One of those tests determined the need for a significant repair. Dana ensured that the seller took care of the repair and negotiated additional time for us on our option period to ensure the repairs were done to our satisfaction. All in all we are extremely pleased with our new home and highly recommend Dana for your next real estate transaction. She has vast knowledge of the market and a keen understanding for what it takes to get a home under contract and closed, without delay. We are thrilled with our choice to use Dana for our first home purchase! If you are sick of your flaky realtor who thinks they know everything, call Dana. She is the real deal and has years of experience in the Austin market to back it up! read more

Could not be happier with Dana! She exceeded all our expectations, found us an amazing home, and made the process so easy for us. My wife and I just closed on our first home together and we couldn't have done it without Dana. Her connections and knowledge of Austin led us to finding an amazing home. She walked us through every step and was very patient with all our questions. No matter what time we had a question she replied quickly and had the answers. Dana's Diligence made sure we were never surprised about any costs or complications. We are truly grateful for her and all she did for us. read more

Dana found our family an amazing home near schools and amenities that suit us perfectly. Thanks!

We were new to Austin and first time homebuyers. Needless to say we had a lot of questions and Dana was a patient, invaluable resource providing insight and guidance whenever we needed. She is always on the ball and knows how to execute and deliver in a way that was so reassuring to us as first time buyers. She was also never pushy with us, and gave us time & space to work with whatever our own timeline and needs were. Ultimately we wanted to work with her because she has a great personable vibe that's calming & grounding. read more

Dana Epstein at Dochen Realtors is a marvel. Not only did she help us look at houses on and off for 2 years (!!!) she never made us feel like a burden or an imposition. Dana steered us away from the bad homes and towards the good - and her taste was impeccable. Dana listened to our wants and (probably more importantly) our list of nonnegotiables and was helpful creating a list of both. Dana also took attention to detail and due diligence to an entirely new level - during open houses, private showings, inspections and beyond. Dana makes you feel like you're her only client and helps you realize your Austin real estate dream. We will never use another agent - we are Team Dana for life! read more

Dana represented us and our interests extremely well. We were new to the area and were pretty much all over the map trying to find where we wanted to buy. Over the course of several weekends, Dana showed us well over a dozen homes and provided great insight into the local markets all along the way. Once we made the offer on our home, she was all over everything - from negotiating with the seller to proactively scheduling home inspectors and tradesmen necessary to address a variety of issues. We were consistently surprised by her proactive diligence and her constant communication with us. Very professional, very competent. Really can't say enough good things about her. We'd recommend her to anyone and would absolutely retain her services again. Absolutely. read more

Dana was incredibly helpful and responsive as we planned and executed an interstate move. Since we couldn't visit properties before our relocation, she went for us, took videos, and was thorough in answering our questions. She gave good advice, and had insight about neighborhoods we should consider based on our needs. She remains our realtor as we transition from a rental to a permanent buy and a friend as we establish ourselves in a new city. Highly recommend Dana!! read more

I was a first time homebuyer in a crazy Austin real estate market and Dana Epstein did a phenomenal job guiding us to an easy close on our new house in NW Austin. Dana is one of the most detail-oriented, patient, trustworthy, and compassionate people that I know. For sake of clarification, she is beyond patient with me as her client, but is always ready to go when it comes to seeing and securing homes. These are the most important things for me when I was looking for a realtor. When it comes to looking for a place to live, whether that is an apartment for now or when the time comes to purchase a more permanent place such as a house/condo, I trust Dana with my life, wants and needs. She knows what suits me best based on all of our conversations, takes all of these things into deep consideration, and is accurate with the options she then delivers. I also greatly appreciate, and respect, her personal opinion on all of the homes we've explored together to make the best selection for my partner and me. read more

When we were looking for a condo for our college kids, Dana was relentless in helping us find a place in our price range that still met all of our other needs. She suggested all kinds of creative tactics since it was completely a seller's market at the time; we wrote to condo owners in the area letting them know we are interested in buying their property; we wrote letters of introduction with our offers; and we looked at places along the bus route to find something that would both in college and after graduating. The last tactic worked! We found a fabulous place in an area that works as a student and as a graduate -- and it was less than what we would have had to spend closer to campus. Thankfully, the kids are graduated and now paying their own rent and want to stay put in a place that Dana made sure was suitable for the long term. I highly recommend Dana for buy or selling because she has integrity, she listens, and she works hard for you. read more
