Reed worked tirelessly on contracts, helped us pick out finish outs to stay in budget, helped us work with financing and basically just held our hands through the whole thing. If we had a question, we received a response that was thorough and prompt. He had patience and focus and that is the only reason we ever got in our home. One of the most impressive moments was when we randomly came to the build and found Reed in the tree well digging out dirt with a pick axe and shovel so we could meet the tree inspection deadline. The builder was dragging his feet and Reed decided he could get it done. It was August and miserable and he was moving bucketloads of dirt out so we could close. We will always count Reed a friend and can't thank him enough for his help. Reed is a rockstar and if you are a friend of mine, chances are I have told you that already. She then set up regular e-mails through the MLS for us to look at and let her know our thoughts so she could help narrow our search for the right home. When a house suddenly came available for us to get in on quickly, she was very quick with communication both on our end and with the builder. She made sure that we were the first in on this home because she knew it wouldn't last. Plus her standing positive relationship with the builder helped us out immensely to get in on it before the house even hit the market! Additionally, she celebrated the victories throughout the process including when out offer was accepted on this house and when we accepted an offer on the house we we selling, even though we were working with another realtor in another city for that sale. Lastly, Carmen did everything she could to help take the stress off of us. I was 6 months pregnant during the time we found a house and were closing. She did what she could to take things off of my to-do list to help make my life less stressful. She went above and beyond in this area. When we realized the house we were buying didn't come with blinds, Carmen called a blind company on our behalf, set up the appointment for the windows to be measured and managed all the communication with the company. Too many corners cut!!…read more I hired Roman Lopez to find a tenant for the rental house I just bought. The very first application they received they sent to me - the guy declared his income to be $0, and when I questioned it, they said that they talked with him and that he was a web developer that just sold his company. I reluctantly agreed, since I wanted the place rented ASAP. Big mistake - the guy had warrants out for his arrest, and his "emergency contact" was his estranged wife who had a restraining order against him and was not legally able to sign a contract. Roman never called her or did any sort of thorough background check. The guy is now in jail, and his girlfriend is renting my house out on Airbnb without my permission - they haven't paid rent in 2 months, and while they're making $263/night on Airbnb, I'm stuck paying the bills while waiting for the eviction process to proceed. My mistake - I trusted that Roman was a professional and knew his business - he just wanted to make a quick buck.
