The croffles, bubble waffles on a stick, mini pancakes, and savory bites like avocado toast and the rosemary bacon croffle are all delicious and make this place refreshing again. The Alley is a pretty cool spot located in the Southlands. I like the overall theme of the place. The interior is mostly white and has few cool decorations and a nice mirror on the wall. There could be a little more upkeep due to a few crumbs and plastic straw wrappers left on tables, but overall the restaurant is tidy. It's really chill vibe on a good place for cold Boba on a hot day. The day I visited it was almost hitting 100°F. I ended up ordering the Ube Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Boba. I wish I would have got it without the sweet cream because it ended up curdling towards the bottom of my drink. The service was good. The young lady who took my order was very kind. She told me about the drink. I ordered in the different options for the milk used to make the drink. I had the choice of regular milk, oat milk, and another milk that I forgot. Every time I come to Aurora, I make sure to visit The Alley! Funny thing is that after travelling to my son's house in CO, it's less of a drive than to one that is to nearest my home in Los Angeles! So, I make it a point to come here! This store is located in the Southlands Shopping Center. I usually get the Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk. It's tasty and creamy! I also pick up drinks for my son & DIL. They like the coffee and milk tea ones. We are fans of their drinks! The inside is simplistic, mostly neutral tones of white & grey. This is a nice quite place to study or work. They offer free Wi-Fi of which the password is their phone number without the dashes. There's also a public restroom available. The parking is free and there's plenty of it! Bring your patience because it does seem to take a while to complete the orders. They offer food options too, but I haven't tried any yet. I wonder what is special/magical about the number 9. To enjoy the Deerioca drinks, you should stir it 9 times and enjoy. There's also a Royal No.9 Milk Tea. Join their Rewards Program. I stopped by here because I had a coupon. This location is relatively new to the area and I have been wanting to try it. Their original croffle is just alright. The entire store smelled heavenly when I walked in and the croffle looked and smelled delicious but it quickly got cold and I had to microwave it when I got home which made it very dry and stale. The passion fruit green tea with boba and jelly was amazing. Not overly sweet and a large amount of boba and jelly which was nice. I ordered the brown sugar creme brûlée and it was quite good. They offer it in whole, oat, or soy milk. Boba is included with this drink. The creme brûlée flavor is quite faint so mix and shake well so you can taste the creme brûlée. My mom ordered the yogurt grape lulu and I actually like this drink better than the one I ordered. We ordered The Trio Milk Tea and a Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk this past weekend. The "TRIO" milk tea is supposed to include a "TRIO" of toppings (boba, coconut jelly, and konjac jelly) like the name implies. I received my drink and it was empty except for ice and milk tea that doesn't even reach close to the top of the cup. When the cashier was questioned, she stated that's how it is now, toppings are extra, and the drink is basically a milk tea. That doesn't make any sense. I overpaid for a falsely advertised milk tea? The Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk used to be a decadent drink, a real treat to have once in a while. This time it was watered down and lacked the guilty pleasure it once carried. Honestly I did not like the orange lulu drink cause the tea flavor was too strong for my preference and I didn't taste much orange flavor. I liked the ube drink a lot more. I stopped by here recently after running some errands. The Alley is in the same strip plaza that Monsoon Cuisine of India is located. It's really not an ideal location for this place as one may easily drive by it. My GPS didn't take me to the front of the business. Staff is friendly here. The young lady who took my order gave me a good recommendation on a drink to purchase. I ended up ordering the Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brûlée Milk. I really couldn't taste the Creme Brûlée. I noticed that another reviewer commented on this as well. I do like that they use Organic Whole Milk. Kudos to them on going the Organic Milk route. They have a nice dining room area to sit and enjoy your beverage. It's clean as well. I didn't notice any dirty tables. My only complaint is that staff should turn the music down when patrons enter their store. The two female staff members left the music elevated. To those staff members, the music is not on for only your entertainment. Overall, I enjoyed my beverage. It was't too sweet and the tapioca balls were good. This isn't my favorite boba tea place. Some of the best boba that I've had so far in Denver. I went for the grand opening today and everything was so delicious. I tried the brown sugar creme brulee milk tea and it was top notch. The boba was so soft and chewy and came warm! I feel like this has become a rarity in boba drinks nowadays - the warm boba just proves how fresh everything is. My first experience with this establishment was coming in and being told that the item I selected on the menu was not available because they don't make boba prior 12pm. That was an infuriating experience that kept me from coming back for months. A few weeks back my daughters wanted boba and I didn't want to drive all over town to find it so I gave in and went back to The Alley. I of course made sure it was during the arbitrary time when boba (at a boba tea joint) was being served. We walk in and the place is GLEAMING white. Like way way too white. The walls are white the lights are bright white. The decor reminded me of an Apple Store circa 2006. Gaudy beyond words. Very weird decor to say the least. But that's not why we're here, it's time to try the boba finally. We order the matcha boba deerioca blabbidy blah blah and the ube boba blabbidy blah blah drinks. How was it? Freaking INCREDIBLE. Literally the best damn boba I have ever had in my life. My daughters were equally blown away by the taste and quality. The actual boba was incredibly flavorful and rich. It instantly put to shame every other boba experience I've ever had. The customer service was exemplary and quick. I just want to point out that my original review of this place was one star because I was not allowed to order boba prior to noon and thus I left empty handed. That is still a very frustrating memory and it was quite frankly damaging to my experience to the point where I didn't go back. It's a shame that they have that policy because this establishment is doing an incredible job with its product and its service is superb. I'm glad I gave them a second chance. The all white interior with cactus might fly in a resort town but this is a weird concept for this area. I guess they are trying to be something between a boba shop and a coffee shop or a little of both. Overall feels bland and uninteresting. On to the coffee I got. Bitter and sugar was almost all that I tasted. It was like drinking syrup from the bottle combined with espresso so bitter it was almost undrinkable. If you're doing food and selling it at least make sure that the parts are good by themselves. If I can drink a shot of the espresso straight, something I'm known to do, probably shouldn't be in with other food. Staffed by uninterested in serving coffee late teen early 20 something's. I did not have a good experience the first time I came already and decided to give it another chance today but it's more disappointing today. The first time we came, there were three people in line but the person working the register could not figure out how to take order on the ordering machine and it took us 20 min just to order two drinks. Then we waited 20 more minutes to get our drinks. We ordered from the creme brulee series but could not even find any creme brulee in our drink. Today I came in, the store was messy with all the boxes lying around. I waited 30 minutes in line again because there were two people working and three people standing around literally just staring behind the counters. The girl working the register took forever to get orders and one more girl making drinks slowly. When it was my turn to order, one guy came out from the kitchen and told me they were out of ingredients. I asked what we could do then they just said there is nothing they could do. Everyone behind me in line were shocked and I just walked out right there. I had The Alley in Hawaii, California and Vegas before and all the locations were always great from interior designs to customer service to quality of drinks.
