Corned Beef Hash and Eggs.
Roger S.

We were searching for a new brunch spot and discovered Twisted Egg in Aurora. It's located on the first floor of a medical building/strip mall, making it easy to overlook while driving south on Parker Road near Cherry Creek State Park. We were pleased to have found it, as our breakfast was excellent. The Monster Smothered Burrito with eggs, sausage, potatoes, green chiles, onion, and cheese, was smothered in green chili and topped with roasted chile-lime crema, pico de gallo, and fresh cilantro. It was huge -- living up to it's name -- and it was delicious. Another star on the menu was the Corned Beef Hash. Unlike the "mushy" canned versions, Twisted Egg's is house-made with diced corned beef, green pepper, and potatoes cooked on the flat-top until the exterior is crisp. It was served alongside two perfectly cooked eggs allowing the egg yolks to run when broken creating a rich sauce for the crispy hash. The restaurant is bright and clean, but can be loud due to the concrete walls and open ceiling. Our server was friendly but not very attentive, never checking in on our meal or refilling our drinks at any point. On the other hand, Susie, the owner, along with her husband Doug, was delightful. They were successful restaurateurs in Las Vegas before making their vision for Twisted Egg a reality. We will be back.

Nestled at the corner of a shopping lot, this breakfast and lunch place has great service and food. It was our first time here, we stopped by for breakfast Saturday morning and were able to get a table without a wait. The menu is big with lots to choose from. I ordered their Lemon Blueberry Ricotta pancakes with a side of bacon, and my husband ordered their BYO Omlette with hash browns on the side. Everything was so delicious and their portions were nice! Pricing was great and service was so friendly. We'll definitely be back!

This place is an amazing! Kind service, even when busy. The bathrooms, seats, tables were very clean. While we waited for our table we checked out the donut shop next door (Parlor Donuts) and got a donut. Definitely come here and support some local businesses!

First time here. A little cozy place that offered good breakfast. Loved our waitress....she was very friendly and accommodating. As a lacto-vegetation, I wanted the breakfast without egg and she made it happen. They were really good with a side of their potatoes....potatoes were REALLY good. My friends enjoyed the chicken fried steak, breakfast sandwich and pancake. We got there early and when we left, there was a wait. Somewhat small restaurant that offered a good breakfast.

We love coming to this restaurant for brunch. Great for your household and meeting others. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Stopped in for late breakfast brunch kind of meal. It was a nice day so we sat on the patio, the service and atmosphere was great. The food was spot on the biscuits and gravy were great, although the gravy was a little different style than I had had before, but still delicious none the same. My partners sandwich was delicious as well. It's a favorite local spot so we will be back for sure.

The Twisted Egg on Packer Road is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The service is quick and efficient, making it a great choice even on busy mornings. We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, an omelette, buttermilk pancakes, and a mocha--everything was delicious. The flavors really stood out, and the portion sizes are generous. Definitely a place worth checking out if you're in the area.

Bacon Jam Sammy

The good: I really enjoyed my bacon jam Sammy. The chipotle aioli was delicious and the sandwich was stacked with egg and bacon jam. The flavors and textures all worked well together. The sweet potato bun was fantastic. My husband thought the enchiladas were perfectly seasoned with a large portion size. He especially liked the guacamole and the sauce on top. The iced coffees were also delicious. The service was also great and attentive. We got seated pretty quickly. Always love to see a QR code checkout system so we can make a fast exit to start walking off our meals. Lots of parking! Entrance into plaza wasn't obvious. The just ok: I felt that my breakfast potatoes were under seasoned and mushy. The black high top seats were really small and uncomfortable. It was also on the warmer side inside and very loud near the kitchen. So it was a bit overstimulating. Overall we did enjoy the food and the menu is quite large, so will be back to try more items!

Corned beef hash with over easy eggs and an extra side of sliced tomatoes.

Me and The Hubs had breakfast here for the first time recently. In a nutshell, it was great! It's a cute (and clean) restaurant with friendly servers, a good (and varied) menu, and very tasty food and coffee. We arrived a little after 10 AM on a weekday and, while they were doing a brisk business, they did have some empty tables and booths so we were seated immediately. We perused the menu over coffee, and The Hubs chose the Chilaquiles (2 eggs / tortilla chips soaked in roasted tomato or green salsa / refried beans / sour cream / pico de gallo). I opted for the Corned Beef Hash (2 eggs / house-made corned beef / home fries / bell pepper) with rye toast and a side of sliced tomatoes. Yummy! We both really enjoyed our breakfasts. I really appreciated that their corned beef hash is made with real, cubed corned beef (not the ground stuff that looks like it came out of a can). It was delish! Coffees were refilled regularly and before we ran out. I have zero complaints and will definitely return!

Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

I recently stopped by here for brunch with a good friend who has been here several times before. The ambiance is charming with plenty of seating and cute decor. Our server was very nice. I don't quite catch her name but I think it was Ashley. She was very attentive and then she let us sit and chat after we paid the check. I tried the Sweet & Twisted Combo and I chose the Corned Beef Hash and the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast. The corned beef hash was a fresh and perfectly seasoned combination of corned beef, potatoes, green peppers and onions that came with scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. The strawberry cheesecake French toast was a huge piece of brioche toast with a cream cheese glaze and strawberry sauce topped with mound of fresh berries and a swirl of homemade whipped cream. Everything was simply delicious and was very impressed with how fresh everything was. I hope to be back sometime soon!

This is only a two star because the food is decent, but the service has gotten worse every time we've come and doesn't make up for the generally good quality. Today they took the longest ever, with almost no actual service. Forget about refills unless you're there all day. After food was dropped off (with rotten berries) no one came back to the table to check on us. We finished the other parts of our meal, but no one came by the entire time to check on us. Frustrated, we walked up to pay at the counter. Don't expect to return unless management gets the waitstaff trained the right way.

We went to brunch on a Saturday around 10am. Surprisingly there wasn't a wait, but it was packed. First thing I noticed this place is very sensory over-stimulating. The concrete walls trapped all the echos of chatter almost to it being uncomfortable. There's a decent selection of items. No alcohol that I saw. I don't drink anymore so it's not an issue now, but would've definitely been one 4 months ago. For the price, the food wasn't as good as I expected, it was okay but not what I would expect at that price point. There are no free refills on drinks either, at least there wasn't for a kids juice at brunch. I asked & paid for gluten-free toast, but my stomach hurt all day after eating my Avocado toast.

What a nice gem to have in a neighborhood! I was running an errand and wanted something different to try and this turned out to be a perfect place. The entrance is sort of hidden and I suspect if it wasn't winter and cold people would be sitting outdoors as well. I was quickly greeted and seated. I asked for a recommendation and it turned out to be perfect! It was a stuffed burrito and it was HUGE. So much so I could not finish it all! It was great! The food came out quickly and my coffee cup never stayed empty for long. The server was polite and professional and answered all my questions about food choices and shared her favorites when asked. If I am in the neighborhood and hungry this is a place I'd go again!

Lots of breakfast items and the food was actually decent but again overpriced. Our server was very nice but did not clear off our table at all. I tried to make a reservation for 7 the day before we visited the restaurant and they told me they only do reservations for four. Said I should expect about a 30 min wait for the group size and time we were wanting to be sat. Got there 30 mins prior to when we wanted to sit and the hostess told me it would be 45-60 mins and that there were several reservations ahead of me including another 7 top and if the reservation came in our table would keep getting bumped. This was VERY annoying. Our table ended up being ready in 30 mins which was nice but the conversation with the hostess to start then seemed ridiculously unnecessary. There is little waiting space inside and a makeshift host "area." I won't be back.

This was an excellent score! Bottomless mimosas and brunch without the hassle on a holiday- count me in. Our server was extremely nice, which just added to the great experience. I went for it! I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet. It was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and gravied. Our server suggested the hash browns instead of the country potatoes and she was not wrong. Fun fact- Early Bird Eatery does offer bottomless mimosas for $18! Well worth it! I will be back for brunch-that's a given. I also look forward to trying Monk's Indian Grill as well.

Food took about 30 minutes so that's something, you think they are clearly cooking to order. Now if only they could cook you something edible!! The food was disgusting. My Southern Benedict had school-lunch-style "chicken" tenders on it instead of real breast meat. The eggs are not cooked to order, those are very clearly pre-boiled eggs (Pssst, Early Bird, Boiled is NOT the same as Poached!). The biscuits were not biscuits at all, I think it was an English muffin, but either way, it was microwaved to the point it couldn't be picked up, the bread just crumbles around. Couldn't even finish this mess of a meal and had to leave with most of it untouched. My husband's burrito was bad as well. He took maybe 3 bites before we just left. I didn't even want to pay I thought this was such a rip-off. Don't waste your time, eat elsewhere or even just cook at home.

The wait times can be a little crazy if you arrive during prime time (weekends in the morning). I have seen the wait be close to an hour or more. But they do allow you to check in online before you arrive to skip the wait. The restaurant is packed full of tables and is tight when the tables are full and the servers are working through all the spaces. The ambiance is very much mom and pop feel to it but is overflowing with people like a mainstream restaurant. With all of that being said OPH is definitely worth the wait and the chaos of the spaces used. I think it gives the space a very cool feeling knowing they are trying to make sure they get everyone a meal. The service: The waiters are extremely kind and helpful. This was my first time and I was overwhelmed with all my options and how many things looks amazing. They are attentive to drinks and empty plates to make sure you have as much room as possible. The food: This is where OPH sets itself apart from the wide variety of breakfast places in the area. Everytging that I have tried is to die for. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was some of the best corned beef I have had. It is a little undercooked like it should be mixed with their gold Yukon house potatoes served with an egg of your choosing on top. I did over easy eggs as I think the runny yoke on top of everything is the best way to eat it. But that's just the way I like it. I also upgraded my pancake side to the pineapple pancakes which came with a pineapple syrup that was addicting. Overall my meal was a 10/10 and loved every bite. My wife got the potatoe pancakes with sour cream and they were so thin, crispy, and tasty that I wanted to order another half order because they were perfectly made. This is a close second of the things that I tried. I would rate the potato pancakes a 10/10 as well. My father in law got the sour dough French toast which was very good. I don't love French toast but thought the sour dough was a great idea for French toast. Overall I would eat at OPH every morning if I had the time and money. I would highly recommend this places as a must try if you are in the area. I will be back and cannot wait to try more of the menu.
