Crawfish had a great flavor! Will definitely be back! Taste like home "DaReal New Orleans flavor" that says a lot

Great place that I used to love going to but will not return due to the fact that I was talked about and laugh at once I left from the windows from explain to them about my snowballs that did not come out right I patronize this business since 2015 and unfortunately at the end of 2018 I will not return no one should ever be talked about as a customer that has support your establishment and have spent $50 to $80 dollar's or more at times on any visit read more

Good afternoon, so sorry I'm writing this so late I just couldn't get my mind off of this and knew now was the time to say something. About almost a month ago, the workers called my name to pick up my snow cone order and they left it there for me to get and when I went to get it I wanted some straws but I didn't realize that the napkins and straws were right by the window but I was trying to get a workers attention until, I noticed something dangling from the ceiling in the back.. so I got a bit closer to the window and took a peek and I see multiple sticky bug traps filled with nats and what looked like flys on them as well! And I was actually thinking about getting some nachos too but when I seen that shit dangling over the pot of cheese as well I damn near went crossed eyed. My stomach instantly started hurting and I decided to just eat the food which was good but not the snow cone just wanted to share that so you guys can be aware! read more

We come here for crawfish every year. It's not too spiced. It doesn't even look like a drive thru restaurant but the mud bugs are delicious. I like that they extended their lot to keep customers off of the busy streets. read more

Found this place on Yelp so we gave it a try. Took about 6 minutes to get our order only to find out that they didn't give me my order right. ( payed extra ) But honestly im not mad as their crawfish was SO GOOD! Not to talk about their location, it's so beautiful. They have benches and extra chairs . They have this big sink for you to clean when finished. This is definitely the kind of place you want to bring your family from out of the state read more

You want to come here, trust me. They have amazing sno-balls/snocones. I had been here before and loved it but I couldn't remember the name of the sno-ball flavor I had. It was coffee mixed with something else, anyway it was heavenly. Today I took my daughter and she ordered a Garfield sno-ball with ice cream. You can add ice cream to any sno-ball for 50 cents. I ordered mom's favorite sno-ball, which is strawberry cheesecake with key lime pie. Not bad. The winner was Garfield, which is dreamsicle and grape. It's a must try combination. I can't comment at length on their food items, as I've only tried the fried shrimp with fries. Generous portion size and great flavor, but I would say the main attraction here is probably the sno-ball menu. read more

Best crawfish in this area! It's spicy and fresh. I also love their to go daiquiris. This is only place we go to for crawfish to go in this area. The line moves quick and the owners are so friendly. read more

After almost one year of waiting to come back, this place is still awesome! Very consistent with flavor, quality, and not to mention price. We especially liked how spicy it was. Some places will make it spicy but miss on the salt ratio. That One Place have in down to a science. Love the outdoor atmosphere they created by building an outside eating area. Overall great service, good management walking around to each table to make sure everyone was happy. By the time we were done eating, it was close to 8pm, their drive thru was lined up with cars along with dine in guests. If they get any busier, they might have to expand. Been telling my friends it is so worth the drive to check out That One Place...hopefully they will give it a shot. read more

Very disappointed! Waiting in line for an hour. To find out no fried foods. Since we were stuck waiting we ordered sno balls. Ice was not soft even had chunks of ice in it. This use to be my spot for shrimp po-boys when I'm in the area but as usual when places become the go to spot they start slacking in customer service. read more

Awesome mom & pop's place. Food is amazing. Drive-in wait time can be long at times, but that's because a lot of people love the food and come back for more. They serve Louisiana-style crawfish when in season and the flavor is one of the best, if not the best I've tasted. They also sell Live Crawfish if u reserve early enough, but their own recipe is worth every penny. You can also eat at their location so you won't have to clean up at home. When they're not in season, they serve po-boys, slushees, frosties, etc and they still taste amazing. If you decide to check them out, show up early because others will be there. read more

Always in love with their snowballs (blue raspberry is like a blue jolly rancher!), potatoes/sausage, & boudin balls are always a hit! Oh & they're Cajun fries! Moderately priced compared to Bahama bucks snow & the food is unbeatable! read more

Spicy and yummy! I loved it, can't wait to go again. They do not boil and then add spice on top. You can tell that they boil the crawfish in yummy Cajun spices. You don't even need butter! We topped off our meal with some yummy snow balls read more

Went back this year for 1st of season for me crawfish. Last year I had a couple of incidents at the place with their service . Tonite I call in my order about 10 min before I got there coming home. The person that took the order told me to come thru the drive thru. As soon as I got there someone came out and took my payment. I then waited around 15 minutes for them to bring the crawfish to me. The girl that brought them too me apologized to me for taking too long. When I got home a few minutes later and just getting things situated the crawfish were cool. They had no seasoning to them , I posted a picture of the feed on fb before I began to eat it and one of my friends even comment Gem they don't look like they have been seasoned. I will drive across town to crawfish connection for now on. That One Place use to be a favorite place of mine but over the last 2 years they have loss me There are a lot better places out there read more

Flavor is good and juicy, but SALTY as hell. If you have high blood pressure please take your meds before eating the crawfish.

This is a pretty good option for crawfish around here. The drink selection is huge and they have a nice size patio to sit on. Will definitely come back read more

I like the food there but their service is awful If you call in an order and they tell you it will be ready in 10 min you will still wait at lest another 10min. This is one of the best snow cone places in the humble/atascosita area by far. The ice is fine just like snow. The offer creamy flavors too. The daiquiris are so good and the crawfish is really spicy! Delicious flavors with reasonable prices. The crawfish are big too. They have a huge list of snow cones and another list of daiquiris. The lady who helped us was so sweet. I wish they had offered us trays when we sat down to eat though. We didn't know they had trays until we we were done with our food. Beside that, excellent crawfish spot. I'll definitely be back. read more

Crawfish season is back, baby! I've driven by this place numerous times since it's right by my church, and I've always been meaning to give it a shot. Well today was the day! Came by to try out their crawfish. Ordered a whole 8 pounds of it! They charge 6 bucks a pound, which is not too high. But who cares because their crawfish is absolutely the bomb!! They're good size and also have a nice spiciness to them. Not too hot, but not whimpy either. I do wish, however, that the sausages were a little bigger. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints at all! Staff are so generous and friendly. And the wait was very short! I definitely will be coming back here during this crawfish season to get more of their yummy crawfish! Get some nachos and snow cones while you're at it! read more

I have been driving past this place for about a year now and finally decided to give it a go today. I really wanted gumbo but they were out (must be good!) so I went with the shrimp poboy. I don't know if it was because I wasn't that hungry or that I really just wanted gumbo, but I didn't think it was spectacular. It was good though. And there were a lot of shrimp on it! We also ordered snow cones since it was 85 degrees on a November day! According to other Yelpers, the snow cones here are the best around. I have to disagree. It was more like ice cream consistency rather than light, airy, ice flakes. It reminded me of a push pop you get from the ice cream trucks only once it metal a bit. The flavor was good, but I had a hard time calling it a snow cone or even shaved ice. They forgot my sons nachos and once I was already finished with my sandwich I finally went up to the window and asked for them. The kid working the window didn't even acknowledge that he forgot. I guess this sounds like a bad review but it's not. I just had higher hopes. I will definitely be back for gumbo and crawfish when they're in season. The owners are really nice and like to come out and talk to you and make sure you are enjoying every thing. First experience was a 3 out of 5, but I will be back to see if it moves up the scale. read more

I mean a snow cone is a snow cone right? WRONG! This place blew my mind. The ice is shaved so finely that it may as well have fallen from Heaven. Their flavors are out of this world..I literally can't stop going. You can't go wrong with their daquiri drinks either. The Cajun fries are seriously delicious as well. We weren't crazy about the Boudain balls, but I suppose it all depends on how you prefer your boudain. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

I really want to give That One Place a higher review but overall, I'm rarely impressed. The problem with most reviewers is they base their rating strictly on how the food tastes. That couldn't be more wrong. That One Place doesn't have a problem with its food. The crawfish are probably the best in the area and the Louisiana-style snow cone is different and refreshing. There is nothing wrong or very spectacular with the food. The problem is with the way this place is set up. There is no valid parking. Parking is a nightmare especially during crawfish season when people line up and down a very busy Atascocita Rd for hundreds of feet in both directions only to be forced to walk between three lanes of idling to-go cars once on the lot. Also, there is barely any lighting at night and the "seating area" is a joke. I absolutely recommend eating here but do it early before the rush and always get it to go. read more

Tried this place for the first time yesterday! We have driven past this place multiple times and I think the only thing that's kept us from trying it was only having outdoor seating as an option.. I do love a/c! We started off with the boudin balls and while they were a little smaller than I would have liked, they were yummy. (Although maybe I just felt like they were on the small side was because I wanted MORE!) The kid is a crawfish fanatic and I had seen on Facebook that they would have some this weekend and since it's so late in the season, we figured this might be one of the last chances to eat them. The verdict?..... GREAT! They were VERY well-seasoned without being overly spicy! They definitely had a little kick to them, but not so much of one that the kid didn't try to eat all four pounds on his own! I hate when places think the only way to season crawfish is to light your mouth on fire or the only season the outsides of the crawfish.. Granted they were a little on the small side, but they were TASTY! We also asked for sausage in the crawfish it was great, too! We declined the potatoes and corn, so I can't comment on it, but if everything else we ordered is any indication, I'm going to assume we wouldn't have been disappointed. The kid and I also ordered small snowballs and were pleasantly surprised that it didn't just melt into a hard ball of ice and stayed nice and slushy all the way till the last spoonful! read more

I grew up in the Greater New Orleans area so I know something about snowballs and boiled crawfish. The snowballs are terribly overpriced. While they are on par (texture and flavor wise) with any snowball stand you'll find in NOLA, their quality doesn't justify the price. To put it into perspective, a small snowball will set you back $2.25 while a single bottled beer cost $3.00. Snowballs are extremely cheap to make and don't deserve that large of a mark-up. I would have expected a price of no more that $1.50 for a small. I know I'm complaining over ~ $0.75 but it adds up over multiple trips, ....especially when you have a family of 5. The boiled crawfish were disappointing. Any place that sprinkles dry crab boil over the top of boiled crawfish obviously doesn't know what their doing. Kroger just down the street has better seasoned crawfish and they can get the flavor right in the boil! read more

I'm pretty addicted to this place. There was a time I was going 3x a week. Best snowballs in Houston. The service is great. I love the owners. They have big, flavorful crawfish. A true hidden gem. That One Place resembles a small shed, fits about 10 cars in its parking, and seats about 20 people max. They do have drive thru, but it seemed like it dragged on forever. Didn't try the crawfish, but it smelled great. The po' boys are amazing, and huge! While you're there, cool off with a snow-cone. Kind of strange to pair cajun with snow cones in one locale, but That One Place makes it work. My one complaint: we waited way too long in line to order. We tried calling ahead but no answer after 12 rings. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were shorthanded that day. read more
