The menu is limited. Burgers, chicken, or hot dog are all that is available. The nice thing is it is completely customizable as far as what you want on it and what kind of bun you would like. You can also order Oberweis shakes/ dessert if you want since they are linked. I ordered a junior size burger, and it was very filling! It was also very good. The only downside was the length of time I had to wait for my order. That was pretty slow even though there was only one other customer. I remember the first time I was there and it seemed unique but I went there today in the afternoon to get a burger and it was nothing more than Wendy's and Wendy's fries but twice the price. It took a long time to get a burger and fries and then the burger was just so mediocre and even one bite had some hard gristle piece and it the fries were great. I thought maybe it would be some char grilled great burger with flavor but only real flavor was the mustard and french fries So yes it's an OK place it's not bad food but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it or recommend it as a great burger place. read more

My husband and I recently went here to eat lunch. He ordered a double cheese burger with bacon, I ordered a hot dog, we shared a medium fry. The service was quick but the food was nothing to brag about. We left the restaurant still hungry and a bit disappointed. It was my first time here and cleary didn't read the menu close enough, their servings are huge and by that I mean 2 patties and it could get downright messy. Just tried this place and was extremely satisfied! I got the double patty cheese burger on a pretzel bun and it was fantastic. It was everything I look for when I want to splurge on a gourmet burger. They are greasy, cheesy, and large! You might want to bring a bib for the mess but well worth it. I actually thought the price was not bad for the quality. My wife, who it extremely picky on burger joints was very impressed. Oh, and by the way, it is attached to an ice cream place if you have a hankering for something sweet afterwards. We noticed this new restaurant adjoining the Oberweiss dairy store near 95th street, so it seemed reasonable to give the place a test drive for lunch. I ordered the junior cheeseburger topped only by their petal sauce. My dining companion also opted for a junior cheeseburger, but topped with nearly every option on their menu. Well, my burger was OK, but that's about it. My companion lamented the fact that the place was a bit stingy with the toppings. French fries were mediocre, not particularly tasty. Given the fact that Five Guys is a short drive across the parking lot, I'd recommend that instead. I'm actually surprised that somebody would locate a burger joint so close to Five Guys, given that restaurant's strong reputation and following. Service was reasonable. You don't want a place that rushes a half-cooked hamburger to you. Staff seemed reasonably attentive and cordial. read more

When they say burger joint, they mean burger joint. You can't get much else here, they have the simplest menu board I've ever seen. They have burgers, chicken sandwich, hot dog and fries, that's about it. The restaurant is connected to Oberweis, so the shakes they offer are Oberweis shakes, which is always a good thing. This place is almost identical to 5 Guys burgers in every way. I got the regular cheeseburger, which is actually a double and an order of fries, which come in a paper drinking cup (just like 5 guys). The burger was great and they offer a pretzel bun, you always get bonus points from me for a pretzel bun. The fries were much better than 5 guys fries, which I hate. These fries are handcut like 5 guys, but were actually crispy, unlike 5 guys soggy, limp fries. They still seem a little disorganized, but the food did come out pretty quick and was made exactly how I ordered it. If you are a fan of 5 Guys, Meatheads or even In and Out, give this place a try, it's pretty tasty. read more

This was our first time at this location. The lobby is very inviting and the wall messaging is very appealing. The menu is simple (burger, junior burger, chicken tenders, fried chicken sandwich, hot dog, Patty melt, fries, shakes, soda and milk.) We ordered a burger, junior burger, chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders had a delicious seasoning in the breading but were pretty small. The fries were very tasty but had no salt and were not hot. The burgers were fresh beef patties cooked on a flat top. They sear them and then turn them. While we were watching though they also pushed down on the burgers after turning them. The burgers turned out very dry and because they don't have the best way of sequencing the toasted bun, cooked meat and burger assembly, our burgers were not hot. The toppings offered were good but not very adventurous. The best part of the visit was the bottomless skim white milk and chocolate milk machine. The chocolate milk is almost like a shake!!! Burger I ordered was fresh, cooked properly and put together well. Fries were good and cooked for the proper length of time. Price was average for an above average burger. The food here was actually decent. The burgers are good and fries were tasty without being a grease bomb. I'm giving it two stars for hygiene reasons. There was a hair in my burger wrapper and NONE of the people preparing food had on hats or hair protection. The girl at the register had a hat on...for all the good that is. I actually agree with several of the other reviews that comment on the mediocrity of the food and the fact that there are other places (Five Guys, Portillo's, Red Robin) with superior burgers. Can't understand why they rated this place higher than two stars. Obviously they, like I, have experienced better. Frankly, a BK Whopper is better.
