    Tofu pad Thai to go
    Emily M.

This honestly surprised me- initially I wasn't thrilled about $18 pad Thai, but to be fair, that's just the price of food these days and it was SERIOUSLY good, and I got more food than I expected. Probably top 3 Pad Thai I've had so far! The tofu was cooked to perfection and it was so delicious that I forced myself to stop eating it all so I could take some home to my husband for him to try. There were a handful of hardworking ladies in the back smiling. I hope this business is able to stick around because I'll be back next time I'm at The Grove!

I knew I wanted to try the Khao Soi because I have heard of it but never found this dish until now. I ordered it with Tofu, as well as Thai tea with coconut milk. The meal came out very quickly within 5 minutes I was shocked! Wow this dish was amazing. I loved every component of this dish. The curry was perfectly seasoned and spicy. The tofu was crispy. Just so delicious! The Thai tea was good and perfectly sweet. Although for $6 you don't get much drink. Overall this place is a must try! I loved the seating and decor inside too, such good vibes.

Food took around 15 minutes, not bad, the food was heavenly. Absolutely the BEST curry me and my…read morefriend had ever eaten in our lives!! It is on the pricey side; $23 for my khao soi curry noodles, but the serving was massive, at least 5 measuring cups worth of curry/noodles, it gave us both a meal to take home! Warning; the curry leaves a very spicy after taste! No complaints from me, cleared my sinuses! Only complaint is the Thai tea, it's expensive for only a few sips worth, more than half of the cup is whip cream, and the whole cup is barely 8 oz. The restaraunt has really nice colors/ambiance, with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.

We came by at 530pm on a weekday and man were we happy to have come early. This place was busy busy…read moreand we now understand why. You counter order/pay and then are assigned a table (very helpful when you are a party of 6). Later on, we even saw people getting delivered their drinks while waiting in line). This Asian inspired fast causal place did not disappoint in flavors or food (and with very reasonable prices to boot). We loved the esquites (traditionally Mexican style street corn) with fish sauce - so so good. The strawberry & crispy rice salad and Thai beef salads were both bright, fresh, and tasty. The dan dan noodles, lomo saltado, and curries were all great as well. As an extra icing on top - the drinks (especially the $3 nonalcoholic shrub and homemade sodas) were great as well. We loved this place.

Food was probably a 4 by itself but the order system is weird which made the ambience chaotic. They…read moremake everyone order before seating first, which in theory would make the wait time shorter but in practice this didn't work because the same guy taking orders was the guy bartending at the front. Needs one guy serving drinks and answering questions about the menu, and one person taking orders. The food was Chinese fusion with Mexican influences and we got mala noodles, 1 shrimp taco, and fried chicken. I'm Chinese and my husband is Mexican, so in theory this place would be right up our alley. However the shrimp taco's tortilla was not made fresh which is is the whole point of the taco (the salsa and the tortilla). The chicken was decent but not spectacular. The mala noodle was good on flavor (kudos for keeping the "ma" part intact) and probably the best part of the meal, but the rice noodle needs to be cooked 1-2 minutes less.
