I don't understand how this place has such great reviews. Because it's not only not great, it's just barely good. I ignored the fact it was in a gas station convenience store out of convenience. But that was actually the first clue that my dinner would be "basic". The second clue was all the tape and paper signs all over the place. Ordered tonight for the first time. It is inside of a gas station which is interesting. But the staff were very friendly. I ordered a tofu drunken noodle, which to me was lacking flavor. this is 100% a hidden gem in my book. never heard of it before until I took a shot in the dark and ordered from here on Labor day since my regular thai place was closed, and it did not disappoint! do not let the fact that it's in a gas station deter you! we got three orders of drunken noodles, was ready in 25min. a very fair amount of time in my opinion and they had other orders they were working on as well. we all really enjoyed our noodles! we got them mild with the chili oil stuff on the side so we could choose our spice level and were given a generous amount of the oil - 2 little cups each, two of us didn't even need to add more spice as the mild was already a good level, i only added half of one and it was perfect! the employee that i encountered was extremely pleasant, so friendly and polite. the kind of service that makes you want to go back because not only if the food good, but your business feels appreciated. read more

Easy Thai is EASY to instantly like when you get past your impressions of an eating place inside a gas station! After reading other Yelpers' reviews (the positive ones) we had to stop by and check them out. For 3 of us, we ordered a chicken pad Thai and a veggie Thai fried rice and 2 Thai teas. The two dishes were cooked to order. It took a brief amount of time and when served they were piping hot! The three of us agreed that the Thai fried rice was absolutely delicious and truly surpassed most high-end restaurant versions. It was full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. The chicken pad Thai was also very fresh and had a perfectly balanced flavor profile. The noodles were just right and the pad Thai sauce was not too sweet nor too tart. Ground peanuts are served in a little container on the side to preserve their crunchiness, until the fish is eaten there or at home. I would order extra veggies for it next time to make it even heartier. The 2 Thai teas were also great! Very tasty and pleasantly satisfying. Prices are reasonable for the quality, freshness and deliciousness. Service from Pim and the gentleman working with her was kind and cheerful. There is no ambiance at all as there only a couple of tables inside the space and counter seating at the windows' perimeter. But I'm not choosing to decrease their stars because the food is so good. We ate at the window seats and it was fine. Maybe one day they'll improve the table and eat in configuration, but as their focus is primarily on take-out orders, for now what they have works in this gas station space. Our first time here. We usually go to Rose Thai in downtown but I was looking for more casual options. I didn't quite realize this was a part of a gas station. It had a counter to order and a few tables to sit and wait for the food. It's not a dating spot, you know what I mean? It's pretty much a take out place. The counter service was friendly! But definitely not the fast food either. We decided to pump gas while we waited for the food - gas attendants wear those you see at a In and Out Burger. They pump your gas (yes you're in Oregon), take your trash out and clean your window shield. i didn't expect this and didn't have any cash for tips. Oops. I was hopeful that I could get some good Pad Thai after being disappointed recently with Noi Thai. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai, took all of 5-7 mins. and I was on my way. It was very good, with tender chicken, moist noodles and egg with a nice sauce. This is a take out place inside the gas station mini mart. $15 was a deal with enough to serve two people. Don't let the location (being inside the Shell Gas Station store) fool you. We drove here with low expectations and came out so impressed after meeting the wonderful owner (Nita) who made all of our meals (while accommodating a food allergy), and enjoying a full, delicious meal. The kids loved it, we loved it and we will now consider this our go-to for east side Thai. It's not a fancy ambiance but if you're just looking for great Thai takeout, I'd recommend it.
