Service was great. 5/5. We were early so our server was very attentive. But I noticed the same for the other larger party that came in a few minutes later. Ambiance 4/5, nice Thai décor. Tables weren't too close together, but you could hear the other parties. Food - mixed bag. Fish patties were 5/5. Tender and delicious. I enjoyed their sweet sour sauce. Pad thai with beef 4/5. Flavor was great, everything was good except the beef was slightly overcooked. But I would get it again, just with pork. Fried stuffed chicken wings 2/5 - such a disappointment. They were stuffed with...chicken! There were no veggies inside like most places. So the wings were on the dry side. Sauce was some peanut sauce in sweet sour sauce and rather curdled looking. Flavor wasn't bad but not robust enough for "just chicken." The wings were fried nicely but i I would not get them again. Jasmine rice was good. 4/5. read more

I recently ordered takeout from Thai Village and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the attention to detail. I ordered the Curry Pad Thai because if you love curry and you love Pad Thai, why not combine the best of both worlds? It was a unique and flavorful dish that delivered on exactly that idea. I also tried the Vegetable Green Curry. While it was packed with fresh vegetables, I think I would add a protein next time to make it a bit more satisfying. The Pork Fried Rice was one of my favorites--super flavorful, delicious, and a generous portion size. The Summer Rolls were fresh and tasty as always, although I personally wish the peanut sauce had a stronger peanut butter flavor. That's purely a preference, though. The Fried Chicken was enormous and incredibly crispy. Even as takeout, it held up really well. I especially appreciated how thoughtful the staff was when packing the order. They included extra sauces and utensils and even left the bag partially open around the fried chicken to help prevent it from getting soggy. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with plenty of seating available, making it a great spot for a casual weekday dinner. The only downside was the wait time, but the powerful air conditioning made the wait much more comfortable. Overall, Thai Village delivered great food, generous portions, and excellent attention to detail. I'd definitely order from them again. read more

Thai Village - Dinner! Sunday April 12, 2026 - Thai Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

My GF and I recently entered the Thai Village in Waipio, but couldn't dine there because there was an offensive odor in the restaurant, so we left. This time we went to the Waimalu Plaza Thai Village for lunch. We got there about 2:00 and the restaurant was just half full. We ordered the green papaya salad, spring rolls and crispy chicken. I felt that the green papaya salad was just OK, but thew spring rolls were great. They were served piping hot with romaine lettuce on the side and a killer sweet and sour dipping sauce. Almost every table ordered the crispy chicken. The batter was perfect for this fried chicken and the sweet sauce was addicting. I would order these three items again. Also, we both had the Thai iced coffee that was really delicious and rich. Loved it. As a matter of fact the server told us that we ordered the three most ordered plates they offer. At least I will know what to order the next time, the same things. read more

Somehow the quality is the best at this location! Food is always consistent and I love that. Our go to order: combo pho, fried ckn, fried calamari, and panang curry. Sometimes we will add the spring roll or pad thai. The combo they have with the pho and thai ice coffee or thai tea and spring rolls is also a great way to get a little of everything. Dine in or take out you cant go wrong. Staff is always friendly. Parking is always available read more

I was craving so good red curry and I found it! We did not dine in, just ordered take out! Restaurant looked clean and well decorated. Service was so quick and kind. Made sure we had everything we needed. The spring rolls were sooo yummy! I wish I order 2 of those instead of getting the calamari. My daughter truly enjoyed her chicken pad Thai ! She said it was one the best so far here. As for me the red curry was just what I was craving HOT spicy full of flavor with good chicken bits and veggies. read more

I love love Thai village and ALL their locations. If you're craving for Thai food this is the place to go! They have friendly and over the top customer service and really great food. There is also lots of seating for a big group of people or to just grab a bite. My go to's: Thai ginger soup w/ tofu - A creamy but sour soup that literally heals me when I take my first sip. Papaya salad (Laos style) - A crunch umami salad Lao sausage - A flavorful sausage so comparable to a Filipino vigan longanisa but with more flavor and spices Pad Thai - This is popular for a reason Pad woon sen - A glass noodle dish, if you love pad Thai you'll also love this Writing this review is already making me hungry. read more

Visited on a Saturday, the place was very clean and quiet. To my surprise not many people but everything was perfect our servers were great and attentive. The food was tasty. We ordered the Pineapple fried rice with beef- which was very lean just how we liked! As well as the sweet and sour chicken which had ample vegetables. The Thai sweet tea was delicious and also the Coconut girl (drink) were both refreshing. We will definitely be back! read more

We ate here one time before and weren't big fans. The food wasn't the best, pricey and small portions but today we were in the area coming from our daughter's doctor since shes sick so we wanted pho. & this was the closest, most convenient place to get it so we took a chance and ordered pho here.... I ordered 1 chicken pho & 1 beef ball pho. They put thin sliced chicken in the broth; which i've never seen any restaurant do that before. I've owned a pho restaurant before and you're supposed to put the chicken with the noodles but maybe thai people do it differently idk? They also gave me beef pho instead of BEEF BALL pho. The beef was alresdy cooked. Very chewy. Now the broth? WAS HORRIBLE. It was sooo bland. No taste of herbs or spices. I couldn't even eat more than 5 bites. I was forcing myself and just ended up throwing it away. Better off eating instant pho.. I'm sorry but this place just isn't it. I don't think they care about the quality food they give out. read more

You can never go wrong with Thai food! This restaurant is located in the Waimalu Shopping Plaza (where Safeway Waimalu is) with a lot of parking available. The ambiance of this place is nice, quiet and clean. The service was great too. The waitress was attentive to us and although she got one of our orders wrong, she was able to correct it and get in the right order in and sincerely apologized. Food was excellent! We ordered Thai fried chicken, yellow curry with shrimp, tom yum soup, beef larb, Thai iced coffee and Thai iced tea. Thai fried chicken is ALWAYS a win. The coating was crispy and the meat was juicy. I didn't eat the larb or ton yum but my boyfriend and friend said it was good. I had yellow curry because I'm not much of a spicy food person, but it was very flavorful and pairs well with the sticky rice. I usually order Thai iced tea when I eat at Thai restaurants and this was just a little bit too sweet but still was good. I definitely recommend this place! read more

Thai Village - Waimalu Overall: **** Recommended **** Food: *** Value: *** Menu: **** Ambiance: **** Service: **** Parking: ***** lots right in front, free Conveniently located next to our hairdresser, we find ourselves enjoying a lunch at Thai VIllage - Waimalu quite frequently. We've tried many dishes (see ratings below) and the food has been good to ok. Thai Village has five locations, four between Waimalu to Mililani. They are currently using the same dry chicken crumbles as Bangkok Chef, not chicken thighs, so I would order dishes with other meats or seafood. When I recently viewed their Menu on Yelp, I was shocked at their prices. However, the prices are Grub Hub's hugely marked up prices, not the true restaurant's prices. For example, Grub Hub adds approximately $8 on the Pad Thai Noodles and $10 on the Fried Calamari. When I mentioned it to the restaurant owner, she wasn't even aware of this. Be careful for marked-up prices with 3rd party menus! I usually call the restaurants for take out to avoid any possible fees. Decided to try this place as we've never been to any of the Thai Village restaurants. Located in the Waimalu Shopping Plaza, plenty of parking. Walked into a nicely cooled place which was nice since it was a hot day. We were greeted with How many? Sit anywhere you like. That person was also our server, she was pleasant, but not really personable. So of course we were comparing this place to other Thai restaurants we go to. Our daughter said how much she loves this place and has to go whenever she is in town and a coworker of my husband also said it's good. Our order: Papaya Salad - Plain, shredded papaya and carrot, tomato, cabbage? And a piece of lettuce with the sauce poured on top, you know the sauce with vinegar, fish sauce, sugar. We're used to having more stuff in it, like bean sprouts, Thai basil. Spring Rolls - It was nice and hot, but not to my liking. It was wrapped in rice paper which gave it a chewy texture, I prefer the wrapper like the lumpia wrapper, fried crispy. Served with lettuce, cucumber and mint leaves with the same sauce on the papaya salad only with some chopped peanuts added to it. Panang Curry with Chicken - I enjoyed this the most, but still prefer other restaurants. We like that it looked as if they use chicken breast sliced thin, onions green peppers and string beans. Sauce was more on the thin side with a good spicy peanutty taste, but my husband prefers when you can taste more of the coconut milk. Brown Rice & Jasmine Rice - brown rice was not like a regular brown rice and the Jasmine rice was nice fluffy and hot. No Mango Sticky Rice, our fav Thai place in Kapolei seems to always have it when we go. So no dessert for us this time. My husband said the bathroom was clean. It was just ok for us. read more

I still love coming here for Thai food. Food is good and consistent. I typically get the pad si ewe or the udon middle soup which comes with a drink a three spring rolls. We've come to Thai Village many times and love their food. This time was no exception but, I do have a complaint. They are now charging 3% for credit card transactions which is the norm. I was also charged this 3% surcharge when I used a debit card. I explained to the cashier that this should not be the case but, she explained the owner set up the machine that way. read more

BRUH... With the recent closures of neighboring restaurants, Waimalu Shopping Plaza suddenly has limited options. Thai Village was my number two pick of the night. Service was slow. Food was mediocre across the board: curry, cucumber salad, fried fish, summer rolls, pho, sticky rice. Limited dessert and drink menu. Prices start at 16$ and up per dish. Not ideal for large parties. Booster seats available upon request. Convenience over quality in this area at this point haha. read more

Been wanting pad Thai for a while, and came across this restaurant. Heard good reviews, and decided to visit here for the first time. Phone call was standard, made an order and typical questions. They said food would be done in 15 mins but I got there in 10. Thought that was super quick! Paid for the food, and it was about $17 or so. Gave them a $2 tip so it came out to almost $20 with some change. The guy handed the order over and I was in disbelief. It was one of those half little plastic containers. Not a full plate, half of one! $17 at Zippy's can get you a full plate! I was shocked and irritated. I would've asked for my money back, but decided to see if the food was worth the $17 and change. I was already bummed out so I went to 7-11 to get some extra food just incase. Cause the pad Thai was in a small container. Got home and tried it. It was bland, barely any meat, and barely any veggies. Noodles are cheap, so I figured the other ingredients would make up the price? But nope. Worst pad Thai I've had, and for the price it's unreal. I've been to other Thai places that gave more for less, and the taste was unreal. Overreacting? Am I basing it on price? Maybe. But I'll let others dictate this review. Maybe getting it to go was a bad idea. But going here for pad Thai might've been too. Save the trip, check out a different restaurant. read more

Great food get the red curry with side order sticky rice. The noodle dishes were delicious as well.

Still one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Just wanted to update my review (STILL AT 5 STARS FOR ME) because I tried a new dish that completely blew me away. Curry pad thai...talk about bringing two dishes together to make one terrific dish! This is my new GO-TO at Thai Village and not something I've seen at other Thai restaurants. It's a step up from your regular pad thai and gives it a little kick with the curry flavoring. While the pricing may be a little higher than other Thai restaurants, everything I get from here is always top notch. You get quality with your food. I've also recently tried the calamari. I don't recommend getting it for take out because it's probably better eaten fresh. While it still tastes good as take out, it loses its crunchiness by the time you open it up at home. I do not recommend the cashew chicken. My boyfriend really wanted to try it, but I did not find it to my liking at all. Not a whole lot of flavor and it's quite liquidy. Pass. Thai tea is still a winner here. I always add it on to my order when I come here. read more

Had a craving for Thai food & decided to give this place a go. Whenever I go to a new thai restaurant, I always get their basil + protein dish because you can't really get that wrong. In this instance, I had their chicken basil. I also ordered some of their spring rolls. To my surprise, they asked if I wanted rice with my (to go) order. Obviously? They charge $3 for a pint of jasmine rice. Uh... The main dish itself was ok? Like, it tasted fine. Nothing to write home about and definitely not spicy at all. It was average. On the plus side, there was plenty of it so you could probably get one main dish and share it with your partner if you wanted....if you had enough rice to go around. The spring rolls were also just ok. I did like their sauce a lot. It's much sweeter than a place like Thai bistro's (a thai restaurant in oahu i also like). But $16 for 6 small pieces? I dunno about that. In short, I thought the food was just ok which is a shame because in a place like Oahu they have some steep competition. If Bangkok Chef were closer to me, that'd be my go to place. As it is, I go to Thai Bistro Suksabay and I think their food is a level better than what is offered at Thai village, and they don't charge for rice. I had a to go order but the restaurant has plenty of seating if you choose to stop in for dinner. On this friday night, it wasn't packed at all. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. I will say the parking situation is great. There is ample parking, so bring all your big trucks and SUVs. read more

I have been craving Thai food for the longest time. My husband and I were in Pearlridge looking for shoes, and when we searched up Thai food on Yelp this place came up. I'm not sure if this place gets really busy but we got here past 1pm and there was just one family eating. We got to choose our seats as well and got our menu right away. My husband ordered the Thai iced tea, I only took a sip as I cannot handle my caffeine. I'm not a Thai iced tea connoisseur but I think the drink was pretty good. We ordered: Beef pho -- not sure why my husband would order a Vietnamese dish at a Thai restaurant but he really enjoyed his meal. Calamari -- very good! especially with the sauce that it came with. It was crunchy and not oily. Though it could use a bit of salt. I found it a little bland for me. Pad see ew -- didn't get to take a picture of this, but it was okay. The portion was very generous, though. I like the convenience of this place, plenty parking spots too and the staff was very attentive and friendly. read more

I ordered the Laos vegetable curry which had a tasty flavor and wasn't too spicy. You'll need to order a side of rice if you want some. They have brown rice as an option besides white rice. Located in Waimalu Plaza, where you'll find City Mill. Thai Village is on the Safeway side toward the back. Tons of parking in the plaza. When I place phone orders for take out, the service is great. When I dine in, the service is just as great. Attentive and friendly staff. My go to dish is always their Curry Pad Thai. When I first saw this dish years ago, it just blew my mind. Curry AND Pad Thai in one dish?! Say no more, I'm sold!! Another go to favorite of mine is their Stuffed Chicken Wings (no picture...yet). It gives a crunch texture with a nice filling. I've been living on Oahu for over 10 years and have been going to this restaurant through out my lifetime on this island. Thai Village is a favorite of mine and my other half's. We enjoy their food and have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. They have multiple locations on island but today we visited their Aiea location right across from Safeway. Their restaurant front is visible when you drive into the parking lot and there's always plenty of parking in the area. You'll find them located between Paesano and Prism n Style Hair Salon directly on the opposite side of Safeway. When you walk in, you'll find yourself greeted immediately by one of the waiters and seated. They have plenty of tables that can accommodate parties between 2-4 people or they may move tables around for larger parties. Their restaurant is clean and welcoming and always has nice Thai music playing on the TV in the corner. Their menu has a good variety to choose from and we've tried many of their items in the past. Our choices for today were their beef pho, meatball pho, and spicy fish filled appetizer. Their pho bowls all come in one size but it's a good portion and their fish fillet plate has enough to share between multiple people. The flavor of their pho soup base tastes amazing already but if you want a boost in flavor, you're also served a bottle of hoisin and Sriracha to add to your bowl or use as dipping sauces for your meat. Your pho also comes with a plate of veggies/herb and I like to use all the basil leaves, lime and some of the bean sprouts in my soup. I always finish everything with a full belly when I get this. The fish fillets are cooked perfectly with a light crunch & served with a spicy Thai dipping sauce and some veggies. We get this almost every time we're here. Food is usually served within 10 mins and drinks are served right away. The waiters checked up on us often and were always readily available. They have to-go containers for your food if you don't finish everything and they'll bring you the check if you ask or just pay at the counter. Between the 2 of us, it cost about $30 each. For other dishes we've tried, I would recommend any of their curries with sticky rice, spring or summer rolls, fried calamari, fried chicken, fried shrimp rolls, stuff chicken wings, papaya salad, cucumber salad, Thai ginger soup, pad Thai, stir-fried eggplant, mee ga ti, special whole fish plate, Thai iced tea, taro rice cake with ice cream or tapioca with ice cream. You can't go wrong with any of the choices I've tried above! I'm not sure if they have a restroom since I've never had to use it while here. I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue to come and visit in the future. Thank you Thai Village for all your years of serving amazing food! read more

This is our favorite Thai in Aiea (they even have one in Waipio) since it's close to our Visiting Angels Hawaii office. Love the flavors and the many choices here. It's clean, spacious and live the authentic decor. The best is the location and the ample parking in the Waimalu Shopping Center. Lol! Why did I rate it 4/5 stars. I'm picky about consistency and friendliness. We patronize here because of the food quality but sometimes (not all depending on who serves us) we are "forgotten" when it comes to water and or time to box things up and the bill. We came as soon as they opened to avoid the lunchtime crowd. Greeted pleasantly as we walked in. Ordered spring rolls, fried chicken, pad si eiw, pad thai and panang curry. The fried chicken was nice and crispy and so was the spring roll. Both were good and my favorites. Pad si eiw is the flat, wide noodles and is salty versus sweet. Pad Thai is sweeter versus salty. Both were good just a matter of noodle preference and salty or sweet. Panang curry has peanut butter and it was still a bit spicy for me even though ordered mild. read more

Having a Thai food craving?! This is a must try if you're in the Waimalu area Went for a afternoon meal with my mama! Once we entered, we were quickly greeted and seated. The service was amazing so quick and patient as we were trying to decide what to order! Honestly, loved that there were so many choices and selections of foods. Here's were some of the items we ordered: Thai coffee- Creamy and packs a punch in a balance of bitter and sweet! Must get if you haven't tried! Green curry with pork and sticky rice- The curry has the right amount of spicy as well as creaminess. The vegetables and pork were cooked to perfection. It was tender and soft. Make sure to order the sticky rice (it costs extra) it's soooooo worth it! Pad Thai with Tofu- the noodles are cooked to perfection and the combo with the veggies are amazing! Tip ask for roasted peanuts with this dish! It adds just the right amount of crunch and texture! Crispy Fried Chicken- My go to order! Anyone can eat it! The sweet and spicy sauce makes the chicken flavor amazing! Must order for any occasion! I will definitely be back read more
