As everyone who lives in East County knows great restaurants are hard to find. Well if you are a fan of Thai I've got good news... This restaurant doesn't have an abundance of seating and that is literally the only negative. Let's talk about the good stuff.. We started with the fresh spring rolls. These are significantly larger than at other Thai restaurants. Very fresh and come with a hoisin/peanut sauce. We also shared a papaya salad. Shredded papaya, spices, lime juice. This is something I've never tried, it is really good. That was a great healthy start. Let's talk entrees. The Spicy Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) is honestly one of the best I've had in San Diego, heck anywhere! My wife had the Pad Thai, I sampled that for purposes of this review and it was outstanding. My daughter had the Heavenly Chicken. It's lightly battered deep fried chicken pieces in a sweet orange glaze. Lots of meat, not over sauced. Great stuff. Finished the meal with sweetened coconut sticky rice and fresh mango. Crazy good, even my 10 year old daughter couldn't get enough. I can't wait to get back! Enjoy! read more

The bad thing is this place is close to me. I love coming here, and I can't stop coming here! This place was average. I had a yellow curry that was not very flavorful. I also tried the tempura green beans. I didn't love them but I ate them later after they had been in the fridge and they tasted better cold lol read more

This place is great! I was so surpised by the atmosphere when we walked in. It's in a strip mall so I wasn't expecting the cloth napkins and nice glassware. The service was great, they are super friendly. The food was excellent. We had the spicy noodles with "chicken" (I'm not a fan of "chicken" but my husband likes it) and the panag curry with tofu. The curry was some of the best I have had. I tried the mango sticky rice and it definitely was the best I have ever had. You MUST try. I will certainly come back here as it has it all. Thanks Yelp! This place rocks! And it delivers! One of the pitfalls to living in east county is HORRIBLE FOOD. I can count the number of decent restaurants on one hand. Thai Time is one! Spicy Flat Noodles are amazing. I order it spice level 6...super spicy and flavorful. Yellow Curry is great, but I would avoid the duck(which gets lost in flavors) or seafood(bland and forgettable) and just go with a cheaper option (pork, chicken, beef). The Spicy Fried Rice is amazing, I found best with pork. I have found the ladies there to smile and thank everyone. The delivery service can take a long time, and they do not have the best phone skills, so be warned. But the food makes those gripes well worth it. read more

I like a hot food. Thought 5 outta 10, I can do a 5. She tried to save me from myself...she suggested a 3. I'm like no, I like hot food. Been here twice. First time had spicy noodles Weren't bad but the salad that came with lunch special was wilted and bad. The second time I went my wife and had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Cashew Chicken. Both had sauces that were like soup. A little corn starch would go a long way. I love thai food, so when I moved to El Cajon, I was worried about the prospects of finding a decent restaurant. This is one of only 3 restaurants I eat in for El Cajon. They deliver, but I have never done that because the small restaurant is so cute and well decorated. I love the fresh flowers that are always blooming at the tables. I have found the service to be good, after a few visits the owner knew my name and preferences. Some of my favorites are drunken noodles, yum woon sen, the papaya salad is very good, along with both the red and green curry dishes. I have never had a bad experience with service or food at this place, which is why I continue to eat here. If you are in the area, try this tiny bit of Thai heaven and enjoy the flowers and fresh food! read more

When they ask you for spicy level, keep in mind that medium is not a safe bet. I can't imagine how hot hot would be. But that's not their fault. Otherwise great. Even offered me water while I waited. Only issue I had was that they quoted me a total. Now there's a sign that says 5% off for cash. I paid the price they quoted. Would they have charged me more with a credit card? Or was I over charged for cash? Its a quandary. read more

Delicious food! I haven't explored the menu much because I'm addicted to their Panang curry and spicy noodles. Absolutely delicious! I always go for lunch because they have a nice special that you don't want to miss. It's a very tiny restaurant and gets pretty packed at lunch so I recommend ordering your food to go. read more

Absolutely love this place. Everything we get is always good. They accommodate wheelchairs decently in the restaurant. Parking is usually good. Bathrooms aren't great for wheelchairs, though. We typically just call in our order and pick up on our way from work. Food keeps very well so the leftovers are always good. Leftover sauce works great incorporated into new ingredients. read more

Just tried this place for the first time, ordered chicken pad Thai and chicken red curry. Both tasted like desert - way too sweet. Seriously tasted like the dish was made and then drizzled with simple syrup. Threw both dishes away and scraped my tongue. Then cleansed my palate with the over cooked sticky rice and papaya salad.
